There has been a bit of a backlash and anti-Davina feeling on our forum today, as many people seem to think that the Big Brother presenter pressured Rachel Rice into giving away £10,000 of her prize money.
We’ve included a clip of the exchange below and would love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Was Davina harsh with Rachel on last night’s show? Did she pressurise her into giving away her prize money? What do you think?
So Big Brother ‘couple’ Dale and Jennifer have apparently split up? Thats assuming that they were ever together in the first place.
The Daily Star reported yesterday that “He [Dale} and Jen are no longer an item. They want to make sure they stay friends to enjoy the finale and the wrap party together.”
Well I can tell you that from their behaviour at last night’s show final I would really doubt that they were ever together. They didn’t look at each other, didn’t talk to each other, in fact they seemed to actively avoid each other at all times with Jen sticking very close to Stephanie for the whole night.
So do you think the couple were ever a real item, or was it all about the money all along?
Did I mention that I was at the Big brother final last night? Well in case you missed it in previous posts…..guess what? I was!! Though I enjoyed the show thoroughly, it would appear that many of you did not and decided to tune out and do something else instead.
The warm up guy who ‘motivated’ the live audience for the show last night told us that they were expecting 11 million viewers for the final. Now I don’t know if he was being seriously optimistic or just lying but lets face it there was never any chance of that happening.
In reality the show received an average of 4.71 million viewers (23%). Now it is true to say that this is the lowest viewing figures that a Big Brother UK final has ever achieved, but in essence they weren’t that much lower than last year. Last years final attracted 5.3 million viewers (29%). Read more & comment »
The Sun has reported today, that Big Brother couple Mario and Lisa treated themselves to a course of botox in time for last night’s Big Brother finale.
A source told the newspaper: “She [Lisa] asked if she could have her lips plumped for the final show. But she was advised against that because it can cause bruising that might not have gone down in time for the show.
“She had her boobs done with the clinic before she went in the house. She went from a C to a DD.
“And she has been talking about having another enlargement to take them to an F.”
Well I am currently sitting in a hotel room on Elstree getting ready to head over to the Big brother final. The weather is miserable, so any photos I get of me in the BB compound will be feature a very wet and bedraggled Big Brother fan.
I just wanted to check in before I head over to the studios and let you all know why I won’t be writing about the show as it happens. Don’t think I’ve abandoned you all, I’m just watching it all happen in front of my eyes:)
Think about this…..as the show is prerecorded I will actually know who the winner is at least 10 minutes before you. But I promise that I won’t ruin the surprise!
If you do get lonely watching the show and want to cheer or rant to any fellow fans, why not have a mosey on over to our bubbling forum where many others will be discussing the goings ons as they happen!
Have fun tonight, I’ll be back as usual tomorrow! If you want to have a look at us at Belinda’s Big Brother eviction in July, just click here.
We predicted this much earlier in the summer, but it looks like tonight’s Big Brother winner will not be someone that the British public LOVE, it will be whoever they hate the least.
Bookies are predicting that either Mikey or Rachel will win in the shows final tonight, and while I like both housemates you have to admit, they’re hardly people that inspire any sort of strong feelings, either positive or negative.
However it’s not such an acheivement to win Big Brother this year, as it has been the most unpopular year the show has enjoyed since it launched in 2000.
The average audience has been 3.2 million, 300,000 less than last year and a huge drop from the 5.3 million who tuned in for launch night.
I think this was largely due to the lack of interesting people in the house but Big Brother editor David Williams refuted these claims: Read more & comment »
Former Big Brother housemate, Charley Uchea, always was an attention seeker, and it seems that even though her fame is waning and obsurity beckons, Charley is not changing her ways.
On tonight’s 8 out of 10 Cats, Big Brother special, Charley storms off the set as she decides that she no longer wants to be called an IT girl.
Very stupidly, Jimmy Carr and guests begin to chant ‘Get Charley In’ and she returns. Should have let her go I say. She needs the show more than the show needs her!
Former Eastenders actress, Wendy Richards, has claimed that she is not racist and did not mean to offend anyone with her comments on a recent Big Brother’s Little Brother TV show.
Whilst appearing on Monday night’s BBLB Wendy was asked for her opinion on housemate Kathreya. She responded:
“I was a big fan of Kat, and we would discuss it amongst our friends and they said she is not right.
“I looked at her through different eyes and I have to admit they were right and I was wrong. She is fake, and she is very cute.
“What is it they say about these inscrutable Chinese? And she is Thai, but it is all Oriental isn’t it? Well it is to me anyway.” Read more & comment »
Big Brother has been engulfed in yet another race row, as former Eastenders actress Wendy Richards appeared to racially abuse Thai housemate, Kathreya.
Wendy was talking on spin-off show Big Brother’s Little Brother on Monday night and commented: “I was a big fan of Kat, and we would discuss it amongst our friends and they said she is not right.
“I looked at her through different eyes and I have to admit they were right and I was wrong. She is fake, and she is very cute.
“What is it they say about these inscrutable Chinese? And she is Thai, but it is all Oriental isn’t it? Well it is to me anyway.”
Realising how Wendy’s comments could be interpreted, presenter George Lamb quickly said: “I don’t think that is unique to Asian people, more to Kat.”
Wendy continued: “They don’t betray their emotions on their face, that is what I meant.”
TV watchdog Ofcom has already received complaints about the episode, which was cut from E$ repeats of the show. Read more & comment »
Today, Big Brother housemates must each perform a rap about their time in the house.
Housemates will have one hour to compose their individual rap. The rap must tell the story of their time in the house, and should include the following elements:
” Favourite memory or event in the house
” Least favourite memory of being in the house

” A summary of housemates’ time in the Big Brother house
Housemates will compose their raps alone, and will be provided with backing music on MP3 players to compose and rehearse to. Breakdancing is optional for all housemates.
Housemates will be provided with blackboards and chalk with which to write their lyrics. Housemates may use the blackboards to prepare for their rap, but will not be permitted to use them during the actual performance.

We’re in the home stretch now, only three more days until Big Brother 2008 draws to a close and tonight saw the last proper eviction before the winners are announced.
Housemates had no idea that there would be a double eviction tonight and much as I dislike Mo, even I felt sorry for him when he found out he would be leaving.
But if Mo was mess when he found out he was going then Kathreya was an emotional wreck! Thankfully she picked up rightly during her eviction interview and her rendition of ‘Happy & You Know It’ was simply HIRARIOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
So that leaves Mikey, Darnell, Sara, Rachel and Rex in Friday night’s final……who do you think should win?
We told you earlier that Big Brother would be springing a surprise double eviction on the BB housemates tonight, well now it seems that there will be a further twist in the plot.
Throughout the day, Big Brother will provide housemates with costumes inspired by each individual housemate. Housemates must put the costumes on as they are delivered and then become that housemate until further notice.
Housemates must all refer to each other by the name of the housemate they are impersonating, they must copy their mannerisms, the way they speak and adopt their habits.
At the end of the night the two evictees will have to leave in their costumes.
A show insider told The Sun : “It’ll be hilarious – Kat could have to leave dressed as Rex.”
Two Big Brother housemates are due to be evicted from the house tomorrow night as part of a surprise double eviction.
The Sun has reported that BB intends to have a surprise eviction on Tuesday in which two of the unsuspecting housemates will be thrown out.
A Big Brother insider said: “There hasn’t been a mid-week eviction this series so nobody will be expecting it. It will be cruel on the pair that go, but a great surprise for viewers to witness.”
Today, Heads of House past and present will enjoy the final day of Head of House rule by basking in their powerful glory for one day only. The two housemates who have never received the honour of becoming Heads of House will wait on their leaders hand and foot.
Kathreya and Sara will be called to the Diary Room to collect a laminate. The laminate will explain that today all Heads of House will regain their status for one day only. Big Brother has provided them all with Head of House rosettes that they must wear for the day.
The laminate will also explain that the Heads of House will be waited on by the only two housemates who have not held the position of Head of House – Sara and Kat. Read more & comment »
