Big Brother 2012: Nominations immunity decider begins with Spaghetti Western!

UPDATE! The Good team won the Spaghetti Western task! So Scott, Sara and Luke S get an extra 30 seconds to pan for gold later today!

Big Brother’s website has just revealed that one of today’s Gold Rush task challenges is about to begin, and it’s a very important one!

Entitled, Spaghetti Western, the task will see members from each team tackling a giant plate of Spaghetti Bolognese.

In a tag relay, each team will alternate with its members until the huge plate of food is eaten. Eating can only be with knives and forks – no hands – and any food dropped on the floor or table must be taken into account when Sheriff Conor and Deputy Caroline ultimately judge who’s eaten the most.

Whichever team is deemed to have eaten the most will win the task, but more importantly, they’ll secure an extra 30 seconds of time in this afternoon’s panning for gold challenge… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Gold Panning task today will win immunity from nominations for one team!

As we reported earlier, this week’s nominations are going to be face to face – which is just brill; I love when that happens – but a task this morning is going to decide which team wins immunity this week…

And that task is about to get underway!

The teams are of course The Good, The Bad and The Really Ugly, and all three teams, overseen by Sheriff Conor and Deputy Caroline will pan for gold.

The outcome is simple; whichever team pans the most gold will win immunity from today’s nominations.

However, Sheriff Conor and Deputy Caroline are not immune from nominations, and the team who are must still nominate this afternoon… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: The Good, The Bad & The Really Ugly chosen for Gold Rush task!

This morning, as we reported earlier, the Big Brother housemates awoke back in the Old West for this week’s shopping task, Gold Rush…

Conor is now the Sheriff of the house for the two days of the task and Caroline – god help them – is his Deputy.

However, Conor and Caroline then had to choose which housemates would go in which team, given there are three with the titles of The Good, The Bad and The Really Ugly.

Called to the Diary Room to choose who went in which team, Sheriff and Deputy had to allocate team places based on “personality” and they had to give reasons for their decisions about who goes where… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2012: Caroline & Conor are the law makers in new shopping task Gold Rush & nominations will be face to face this week!

It’s Day 41 in the Big Brother house, and the housemates woke this morning to find the house had been transformed with a Wild West styly theme, complete with cacti and straw bales, and of course, costumes.

Most of the housemates were excited about the task, with the exception of Luke S who hasn’t yet forgiven BB for duping him yesterday, and Adam wasn’t overly impressed either, saying, “I hate the wild, wild west.”

BB began the task by asking whichever housemate was “most at home where the buffalo roam” come to Diary Room, and an excited Conor put himself forward, prompting sarcastic Becky to remark, “Are there buffalos in Ireland?”

Anyway, the task will feature the housemates splitting into three teams; The Good, The Bad and The Really Ugly, all of whom will be searching for gold.

Conor is the sheriff, and he picked Caroline as his deputy which, to everyone’s horror, means they’ll be “calling the shots” for two whole days… Read more & comment »
