Today, the housemates have been challenged to a Tug of War, with a twist.

Channel 4’s BB site said of the task, ‘Two housemates are pitched against each other in a simple tug-o-war.

‘However, instead of pulling a rope, housemates each wear a pair of tights over their heads (tied together at the feet) and must use their body strength to pull each other across lines on opposite sides of the garden.’

Steve was the adjudicator as each pair of housemates faced each other and moved backwards until the tights were pulled taut.

The winner is the first housemate to step over the line on their side. And all winners will join Steve for a party tonight!

As part of the Uber Cougar’s challenge yesterday, Buxom Bombshell Corin had to break through a male torso crafted from ice to get to, a pair of pants.

Eww.

The only things she could use – aside from her super powers – were a comb, a hairdryer, a hair brush and a make up brush.

But she managed to break into the ice and retrieve the pants for a £100 shopping reward and Ben’s freedom!

It’s just been revealed on Channel 4’s Big Brother website that this week’s shopping task is now underway…

And it seems that a mysterious woman is holding all the male housemates in the Uber Cougar Lair!

So what happens next?

Well, it seems that a message from the mystery woman has just been played to the female housemates, and they’ve been told that if they want to “rescue their boys”, they must transform into superheroes!

They must then “battle their enemy” via individual tasks, and for each task they pass, they’ll be rewarded with £100 towards the shopping budget and they’ll get to choose one boy to free.

Earlier today, Big Brother set the housemates a task called, Dizzy Quiz.

It entailed the housemates spinning around poles – as per Kate Lawler if you recall that hilarious drinking game! – while answering questions about the newcomers.

The housemates were split into three teams; yellow, blue and green, and ultimately, the green team won.

The green team comprised Ife John James and Dave who will all share a meal with the newbies while the rest of the housemates will be locked in the main house.

The housemates have a new task ahead today, and it’s all about getting to know the new housemates.

Here’s what Channel 4’s Big Brother website says about the task…

‘In order to get to know the new housemates, Big Brother will be setting the original housemates a Dizzy Quiz. The winning team will get to attend a celebratory dinner with the new housemates in the kitchen, while the losers will be left locked in the main house.

‘Original housemates are put into three teams by the new housemates; the teams will then have 30 minutes of revision time in which to swot up on facts about their new housemates before the quiz…

‘But what’s the twist?

‘In the garden are giant turntables, one for each team. On top of each turntable is a box on which a housemate can sit. The boxes also have rope handles on the sides for the housemates to grab onto.

‘Before each question a housemate from each team must step up to the turntables and take a seat on their team’s box. The turntables will begin to spin and big brother will ask a multiple choice question about one of the new housemates.

‘On the opposite side of the garden are three answer podiums, marked A, B and C, each with a large button on top. When Big Brother has finished reading out the question, the turntables will come to a stop and the housemates must make a dash for what they think is the right answer.

2The team who hits the correct button first will win a point’.

Last night, Big Brother offered Josie a chance to win some booze for the housemates…

He told her in the Diary Room that all she had to do was collect as many shoes as she could – without the other HMs noticing – and take them to the Diary Room.

She was further told that if she was in danger of being sussed, she was allowed to tell one housemate about her task.

It all started well as Josie piled random shoes into a bin bag, but it began to fall apart when Caoimhe noticed her shoes had gone missing…

At first, she blamed Mario, assuming that he was playing a prank on her, but as he strenuously denied it, Steve remembered seeing Josie acting furtively while clutching a bin bag…

Josie denied everything, but that’s a face that simply can’t get away with lying, and so she beat a hasty retreat to the Diary Room.

Once there, she was told she’d failed the task because she’d been rumbled, but was given a consolation prize of one can of lager.

“I don’t even like lager” she told BB as she drank it in almost one go!

The BB Housemates were set an endurance task yesterday, and told that the winner would receive a “special prize.”

The task involved “the three most competitive Housemates” sitting on children’s fairground rides for a maximum of four hours, however, Big Brother told them that as the rides were children themed, they must not swear. Anyone who did would be disqualified.

John James, Corin and Dave were chosen to do the task, but John was the first to fall foul of the swearing rule as he swore while trying to start up his ride with a pound coin…

However, he didn’t believe he had said the ‘F’ word, and protested to Big Brother, “I don’t even remember saying it!”

So that left Dave and Corin to continue the task, but when Dave fell off his ride, Corin happily assumed she’d won, but Dave protested, “I didn’t let go, I was still on it! This thing’s a liability, get the health and safety out here…

“This is very uncomfortable, but I’ll endure it ’til the end.”

BB then suspended the task while engineers checked out the rides, and when it was declared safe to resume, Corin and Dave clambered back onto their rides.

However, the couple had decided to preempt the result by tossing a coin to see who would be the victor. Corin won so David stepped down from his ride, albeit rather reluctantly.

Again, a delighted Corin whooped as she declared herself a winner, but BB hadn’t done with them yet and announced that as Corin swore, she was disqualified.

This left the Housemates wondering who then had won, but BB declared that the task was failed, so nobody did.

You’d think they could stop f****** swearing for one afternoon wouldn’t you!

Yesterday, Big Brother told Rodrigo that he was to have tea with the Queen, which sent the poor lad into paroxysms of delight. When he went off to meet Her Majesty, the other housemates were told it was up to them to convince Rodrigo he had in fact met the real Queen.

When he left his afternoon tea with the Queen – who was of course really a royal impersonator – he could barely contain his excitement as he told the rest of the group what had happened. And it appears that the group managed – childishly easily – to convince Rodrigo that his encounter had been with the real monarch…

However, it was then down to Big Brother to break the news that Rodrigo had in fact had tea with a Queen impersonator. The house held its collective breath, waiting for the sensitive housemate to go nuclear, but instead, he just laughed about it.

So, the housemates had passed their challenge and won a supper of fish and chips and some booze to wash it down with. They also got a special individual prize of a letter from home for every housemate. Bless ‘em.

It seems that cruel BB gathered the housemates on the sofas before calling Rodrigo into the diary room. He then told Rodrigo that following their posting of his letter to her Maj, she had consented to meet with him.

“Oh my GOD!!!!” screamed Rodrigo in the diary room while the others watched on the plasma screen.

“Big Brother asked the Queen if she would be able to pop in for tea” said Big Brother.

“You’re joking, Big Brother” gasped Rodrigo.

“Are you happy to have tea with the Queen?” continued Big Brother.

“I don’t know how to say. I’m more than happy. Are you being serious? Don’t joke with me. It’s very serious!” Rodrigo said sincerely.

Then Big Brother told Rodrigo that he would have to sing the National Anthem because it was the Queen’s “favourite song,” while in the living area, the plasma screen was turned off.

“If that actually happened it would be the biggest thing ever” said Siavash, stating the somewhat obvious.

“It so won’t happen” said Bea.

“It’s good PR” said Halfwit.

Then Big Brother spoke to the house and told them that Big Brother had hired a Queen lookalike.

“If all housemates convince Rodrigo that he is meeting the Queen, they will win five tokens and all will win a brilliant individual prize” Big Brother announced.

“We have to do this!” shouted Siavash prompting everyone to think up ways they could convince poor Rodrigo that he’d actually met the real Queen.

Marcus tells Sree not to “f**k about” and Sree responds with the very imaginative, “Shut your face” and yesterday was no different.

And that of course wasn’t the end of it.

Marcus decided to follow Sree into the living area where he heard him moaning to the others. This really ruffled Marcus’s feathers and yet more arguing ensued.

“You’re a little game-planning *******!” he told Sree, but Karly jumped to Sree’s defense and said, “Marcus, even before the Task starts, you’re like ‘Sree, don’t **** about’. None of the rest of us say it. You’re always the first one to say it.”

“Because I’ve always been stuck with him since the day we walked through the door,” Marcus retorted before turning his attention back to Sree.

“Nobody else has to sit with you all the time and babysit you. It’s always me. Then you go round everyone telling them I’m picking on you all the time when I’m not!”

“I am expressing my feelings with my people who I trust,” whinged Sree.

“But there’s a difference between expressing your feelings and deliberately trying to make everyone hostile towards me!” Marcus fumed before mumbling something about Sree being a ‘liar’ and a ‘schemer’.

So much for peace and love man!
