The pair made a trip to the diary room, a little worse for wear, and began asking Big Brother why everyone had a problem with them getting along and spending time together.

Maybe they have forgotten the fact that less than two weeks ago they were at each others throat. Aisleyne thought Imogen was fake and shallow, and Imogen thought much the same of Aisleyne.

They hadn’t one nice word to say about one another until Grace left. At that point they both realised that if they didn’t quickly form some alliances they would soon follow in her footsteps.

And so the friendship of the year was born…….So why are people so sceptical? I just don’t know

The new spinoff, called Big Brother’s Big Brain, will air live on Channel 4 on Monday nights. It will include psychiatrists evaluations of the housemates actions over the previous week. A chance to get inside their heads you might say.

“Channel 4 viewers have always loved the insight that a psychological perspective gives,” said Angela Jain, C4′s commissioning editor for factual entertainment. “It’s fantastic to be able to give Dermot O’Leary the opportunity to get stuck into the minutiae of the housemates’ behaviour in a live, dynamic and discursive way.”
