It’s the final week for the contestants with The Biggest Loser Trainers and those who remain are about to be pushed to their physical limit. Tonight we find out who is going full throttle into the final and who is about to take their foot off the gas.
There’s no room for stupid pacts, everyone is now a competitor, what was about the journey tonight is about the win and only three people can go through to the final.
The contestants are taken to a gym where they are stunned to meet former world heavyweight champion of the world David Haye, who is on hand to bring out the contestants’ fighting spirit. The key for the contestants now is to tap into their mental strength, to learn how to use their anger and emotion to get results. David takes them through a boxing training programme to show them what it takes to develop a winners’ mentality; to mentally continue even when the body has given up.

So we’re passed the halfway mark, it’s week five on the Biggest Loser and the competition is growing as their weight is diminishing.
The growing divide in the house throwing pressure on both the contestants and the trainers after Rob Edmonds’ Black Team made a controversial elimination decision last week. Rob, unhappy with their choice, ensures that his team are given their just deserts for making such a contentious choice and losing the weekly challenge.

ITV have announced that Davina McCall is coming back with a new series of The Biggest Loser in just a few weeks time.
The former Big Brother star – who is currently fronting Channel 4 gameshow series Million Pound Drop Live – will return to our screens with 14 overweight hopefuls who are desperate to shed some pounds and change their lives.
Instead of a sprawling ranch in which the US version takes place, the contestants will instead take residence in an English Leicestershire mansion and will combine a programme of rigorous exercise with healthy eating in a bid to triumph on the reality TV show.

The body of Angie Dowds has reportedly been found on a beach, it has been reported.
The personal fitness trainer, who was last year sacked from ITV1′s Biggest Loser series – is believed to have jumped to her death from the cliffs at Beachy Head, Eastbourne, East Sussex and her body was later found on the beach below.

Jillian Michaels has announced than upon her departure from hit TV show The Biggest Loser, she will be moving to another popular series.
The wellness expert will join the panel on ‘The Doctors’ under a big dollar multi-year deal and she will also take on the role of special correspondent on lifestyle issues on “Dr. Phil.”
Phil McGraw – a TV psychologist who helped create the series – praised the star saying:

Wil Graham jogged his way to victory on last night’s Biggest Loser final.
The 29-year-old from Ayrshire, previously admitted that he hasn’t had a girlfriend in more than ten years because he was so despondent about his weight, however last night it was revealed that Wil had dropped 8st 7lb while competing on the ITV reality TV show. He won the £25,000 cash prize and went on to be crowned ‘The Biggest Loser’ by show host Davina McCall.

Angie Dowds has been axed from The Biggest Loser, after she was caught telling her contestants to cheat.
The fitness trainer has worked on the ITV weight loss show since 2005 and should know the rules of the competition by now. However producers overheard her telling her team to eat just fruit and nuts ahead of their next weigh-in, while the premise of the show is that the overweight contestants drop pounds by eating normal, healthy meals and by exercising regularly.

Kate Garraway
GMTV presenter, Kate Garraway has been announced as the new host of ITV’s ‘The Biggest Lose’.
Kate, who recently announced that she was pregnant with her second child told Metro:
“Every contestant has a different reason for wanting to take part. Some are longing to have a baby, but their weight is preventing them, some are looking for love, and others have been told that if they don’t shed the pounds they could die, so for them the show really is a last chance, literally a matter of life and death.
