A few weeks ago, we reported that former The Voice finalist Bo Bruce had blamed the BBC for the fact that her burgeoning romance with her mentor Danny O’Donoghue ended, and at the time, she promised that her hurt and upset over it would be “explained” in songs on her new album…
But today it’s been revealed that Bo has intimated that she would rather have had coach Will.i.am mentor her on the show, rather than Script front man Danny. Read more & comment »

Leanne Mitchell suffered quite an embarrassment this month after it was revealed that her debut album sold just 895 copies in it’s first week of release and Bo Bruce places the blame firmly at the BBC’s door.
Leanne failed to set the charts alight with her first single ‘Run To You’, which didn’t even make the top 40 when it was released following her 2012 win and her album fared even worse, not even breaking the top 100 last week.

Former The Voice finalist Bo Bruce has issued a scathing attack on the BBC, claiming that due to “red tape” at the corporation, none of the wannabes on the show stand a chance of being successful in the music industry!
Her remarks come after coach Will.i.am also said that win or lose on The Voice, it made no difference to the hopefuls’ post-show career.
And of course, last year’s winner Leanne Mitchell is living proof of that, given that sadly, she’s failed to make any real lasting mark with her self-titled debut album which sold just 895 copies in its first week of sales. Read more & comment »

Tyler James, Vince Kidd, Bo Bruce and Leanne Mitchell returned to The Voice this evening to show what they’ve been getting up to over the last year.
After this year’s final twelve performed on the first live show of the series, the four former finalists took to the stage once more, a full year after they last performed for their coaches and mentors.

The Voice live shows kick off this Friday and it looks like they will be a rather star studded affair!
After ratings fell during the live rounds last year, bosses decided to reduce the shows to just three for the 2013 series and the final twelve singers will begin competing for the main prize this weekend in the quarter finals.

Bo Bruce revealed that Kate Middleton is a big fan of The Voice.
The singer songwriter finished in second place on the first series of the BBC show back in 2012 and told The Daily Star that the Duchess of Cambridge enjoys watching the competition, which features blind auditions and spinning chairs.

Bo Bruce has posted a rather cryptic message on Twitter this morning and we can’t help but wonder if it’s related to recent claims about her and Danny O’Donoghue’s relationship.
The singer songwriter was mentored by The Script star on last year’s series of The Voice and after she finished in second place it was reported that she and the Irish singer had hooked up and were romantically involved.

During last year’s first outing for BBC talent quest The Voice UK, we viewers saw contestant Bo Bruce becoming increasingly close to coach Danny O’Donoghue, and rumours about the pair were rife as speculation mounted that they were in fact romantically involved…
However, both Danny and Bo denied that there was anything between them other than their professional relationship and friendship. But in today’s Sun, Bo has hinted that she WAS in a romance with Danny, which was scuppered by the show’s bosses.
The debacle came after Danny was reportedly ordered by the show’s bosses not to be seen in public with Bo. Read more & comment »

A new batch of artists and acts have been confirmed for the lineup of this year’s T in the Park music festival.
The three day event will be staged in Balado, Scotland over July 12-14 and it was already revealed that Rihanna, Mumford & Sons and The Killers would be headlining on the main stage.
