The Boogie Babes are a group of young girls who attend Stepping Stones School of Dance in Appleby, Cumbria. They were put together specifically to be a street dance troupe representing the school in competitions. Once a year they put on a local show to 600 people. Their teacher, Andrea Stones, owns the dance school and choreographed their dances. She regrets not making it as a dancer when she was younger, so she lives through the kids and their performances and tries to give them as many opportunities as possible (i.e. Britain’s Got Talent).
