Celebrity Big Brother returns to our screens in just over a week but one star has come out to deny reports that he will be in the famous house.
Boy George was supposed to star in the last series of the show when it aired on Channel 4 in 2010, but was forced to pull out at the last minute due to restrictions placed by his bail conditions. It had been reported that he therefore jumped at the chance to join the lineup for the new series on Channel 5, which will start next Thursday.

Boy George was supposed to appear in the 2010 series of Celebrity Big Brother, but was forced to pull out at the last minute after a judge ruled that he could not take part in the reality TV show, as he was on probation at the time.
However, the legal restrictions have passed and insiders say the Culture Club star is in talks about becoming a housemate on the next series, when it returns to Channel 5.

Singer Boy George has let rip at the X Factor after its bosses allegedly rejected him for a judging spot this year, saying that the show is “dumbing down” the music industry.
He also claimed that were David Bowie to audition, he’d be rejected for his flamboyance.
George made his comments while filming for new BBC2 Saturday series Secrets of the Pop Song,
He said, “You have got the audiences dictating the art form which is dreadful.
“Imagine what would have happened to David Bowie if he’d gone on the X Factor.
“They would have said, ‘Lose the cape, honey’, and ‘The ginger hair isn’t going to work!’.”

Boy George has admitted that he is keen to become a new judge on The X Factor.
The ‘Karma Chameleon’ singer – who was released from prison in 2009,four months into a fifteen-month sentence for the assault and false imprisonment of a male escort – has insisted that he has the experience and personality to be “great” on the ITV1 show, although he admitted that Louis Walsha dn dannii Minogue may not be able to “handle” him and his various wardrobe demands.

Boy George has admitted that he could take lessons in diplomacy from Katie Price’s husband Alex Reid.
The Culture Club star admitted that he expected Alex to be an ‘idiot’ on Celebrity Big Brother in January, but said that he turned out to be quite a ‘sweet guy.’

Boy George seems quite smitten by American Idol runner up Adam Lambert and has even described him as “adorable.”
The Culture Club singer met Lambert at a London night club recently and later tweeted:
“Adam Lambert is lovely, we met tonite. He’s a beauty! And very normal in the best possible sense. Merha club was s**te. Adam was the highlight!”

Boy George may have been banned from being a housemate on the latest Celebrity Big Brother series, but that won’t stop him from taking part.
Georgy Porgey tried to get his parole conditions amended last month in a bid to enter the house, however Judge Mr Justice Bean said that if George was let off the “non-custodial part” of his sentence, it would be unfair to his rent boy victim.
