Brian Blessed is reported to be considering appearing on this year’s I’m A Celebrity extravaganza.

The Shakespearian actor is said to have been lined up to appear on Hell’s Kitchen but pulled out over concerns about Marco Pierre White’s fiery temper. He has now been approached to take part in the jungle show instead.

An ITV source told The Sun: “Can you imagine Brian in the jungle? He would be TV gold.”

“We have approached him and really hope he’ll join us.”

Blessed is every bit the adventurer, he is currently is the oldest man to trek on foot to the magnetic North Pole and has tried to climb Everest three times. I’m A Celebrity should be no problem at all!
