X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman has claimed that Dannii Minogue is the best judge on the show and even insited that she now has more credibility than Simon Cowell.

Brian told the Daily Star Sunday “I think ­everything Dannii has said all season has been pretty much on point.

“She is my favourite judge right now.

“Simon is in a tough place in the show for keeping the twins in after all his comments.

“He’s known for ­speaking the truth – but I think that’s what Dannii has done so well this year.”

Brian is also backing John and Edward Grimes for the The X Factor final.

He explained: “The twins are ­serious ­challengers, they have a great chance of making the final.

“What makes them even more dangerous is they are finally starting to ­believe they have a shot and that’s half the battle.

“There’s been a change in them this week. They have a lot more confidence and I’ve had my best ­session with them. Unbelievably, they’ve actually been doing what I’ve told them.”

He added: “I’ve grown to love them, even though they drive me mad.”

UPDATE: BRIAN FRIEDMAN HAS NOW CONFIRMED THAT THE THEME HAS NOT CHANGED AGAIN. HE TWEETED:

“Just to clear up any doubts or concerns out there for X Factor fans… I confirmed the theme was changed, NOT that it was changed again ”

Brian Friedman has told his Twitter followers that Simon Cowell has changed this week’s X Factor theme again!

Earlier this week Brian reported that Simon had already changed the theme six times before settling on Wham! and George Michael songs. However at 5.28pm today Brian, the show’s creative director tweeted:

goodnight twitterworld… yes theme was changed again which means no sleep for the B!

Liam McKenna also announced on Irish TV channel TV3, that the theme had been changed this afternoon and expressed his sympathy for the contestants.

However X Factor judge Dannii Minogue insists that the news is wrong and she later told her Twitter fans:

As far as I know X Factor theme is still George Michael/Wham

As much as we hate the idea of Wham week, changing the theme of the show at this late stage can only mean disaster for the contestants. Unreality TV is hoping that this is just a mix up or a nasty rumour.

X Factor creative director Brian Friedman has denied that there is anything going on between Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon.

“I don’t think there’s anything going on there at all – I wish there was, Stacey and Olly are two of the most fun people to be around so they would make a great couple, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen any fireworks,” he told PA.

Brian, also revealed that he isn’t a bit surprised that John and Edward Grimes have survived for so long.

“Nothing surprises me now. My favourite singers from the beginning of the competition are gone, so you never know,” he went on.

“Nothing can surprise you on X Factor world. When people run on stage with pineapples on their head, I think it teaches you that anything can happen,” he alughed.

Brian Friedman has lashed out at Simon Cowell for changing this week’s X Factor theme no less than six times.

The theme is usually announced the weekend before the show airs and song choosing begins soon after. However Simon’s indecision has led to a big delay in song choice and routine planning and reportedly thrown the whole process into disarray.

Brian, who acts as creative director for the show, told The Mirror:

“The theme has been changed about six times.

“I only received the final song choices by text 20 minutes ago.

“I was supposed to have the routines ready by Tuesday morning but it’s not going to happen because I didn’t even know what they were singing until now!”

Rumours had suggested that Simon would chose between Elton John and Wham, however Olly Murs has since been pictured with the lyrics to You’re A Wonderful One by Marvin Gaye.

X Factor creative director, Brian Friedman has denied that he gives more attention to John and Edward Grimes on the show.

After a stream of huge stage numbers, with hordes of backing dancers and special effects, many fans had begun to claim that the other acts are losing out as Jedward’s numbers take precedence.

However Brian wrote on his Twitter page: “Just to set the record straight there is no favouritism for any contestants. I give them what is needed for their performance.”

X Factor creative director and choreographer Brian Friedman, has admitted that he would love to rejoin the X Factor judging panel.

Brian was hired as a judge back in 2007 after Louis Walsh was sacked, he was moved to the position of Creative Director when Louis was rehired.

Brian told The Sunday Mirror: “I think X Factor should get back to the dream team.

“I should be back there in the line-up on the panel. It should be Simon, Cheryl, Dannii and me up there now.”

Much as Unreality TV would LOVE Louis Walsh to leave X Factor, we think Simon should leave the panel at three and Brian should stay where he is.

Brian Friedman has reportedly suggested that John and Edward Grimes could struggle with their vocals, if they were asked to sing a ballad on the show.

When asked if the twins were taking the place of a more talented act, Friedman, the show’s creative director told the Evening Standard: “Yes, but the thing is the public are voting for them.

“It’s going to show in the weeks to come if they do a ballad. Then the public will decide if they should stay.”

In an interview with The News Of The World, Brian has admitted that while Dublin lads John and Edward are great entertainment but their vocals are so bad that Brian said listening to the boys sing is like ‘entering the gates of hell.’

Brian also admitted that Simon has dedicated more time to Danyl Johnson’s song choice this week, after he was left in the bottom two last week.

He said Simon’s initial worries about a Grimes victory have been eclipsed by the thought that Danyl – one of Simon’s favourites to ever appear on the show – could be next to leave.

Brian said: ‘There is no way to figure out exactly what the public are voting for.’

“But I really hope the viewers with actual music taste got the wake up call they needed with Danyl and Miss Frank being in the bottom two last week – they have to get voting for people who can sing.”

X Factor creative director, Brian Friedman has admitted that, at times, he feels like the mother of John and Edward Grimes.

Friedman told this week’s heat magazine: “They’re like kids in an art class who have drawn an ugly thing, but their mother loves it.”

“I kind of feel like their mother. I create something really ugly and they perform it and I love it. It’s like babysitting.”

“They’re not singers and you would think that anyone who gets down to the final 12 of The X Factor would have some kind of voice, but they really don’t. I tell them the same, though, and they’re fine with it.”

The X Factor’s creative director Brian Friedman has said that Strictly Come Dancing needs to become more like America’s Dancing With The Stars.

Friedman told PA that the BBC show would steal more viewers away from X Factor if they had a glossier image.

He said : “There’s something about the American version which is not translating into the British version, and this is the version we had first. Somehow in America we’ve really managed to buff and shine the show, make it high gloss, it looks really expensive.

“The BBC needs to kick it in a little bit and make it a little bit glossy, like X Factor. But regardless if it looks poor or not, I would still watch it if I had time. I love ballroom dancers and I love the whole idea of taking celebrities and seeing if they’re a complete train wreck or whether they can do really well.”

Asked why Strictly is less popular than The X Factor, he commented: “Our show’s better, that’s the only reason I can think of.”
