Britain’s Got Talent’s Ronan Parke wants to duet with X Factor’s Janet Devlin

Ronan Parke has admitted that he would like to duet with X Factor contestant Janet Devlin.

The 13 year old star – who shot to fame when he finished in second place on Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year – revealed that he is tuning into the ITV show each Saturday night and enjoys listening to the Northern Irish singer’s ‘lovely voice.’

Emma Czikai loses case against Britain’s Got Talent

Emma Czikai has lost her court case and her chance to win £2.5 million from Simon Cowell.

The 54 year old wannabe tried out for Britain’s Got Talent in 2010 and claimed that she was humiliated by Simon and his fellow judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, after they buzzed her off the stage when she had only sang the first two words of her song (you can read more about her audition here).

Michael McIntyre has quit Britain’s Got Talent!

Comedian Michael McIntyre has announced that he’s quitting as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent after just one year.

Michael has reporteldy chosen to leave so that he can concentrate fully on touring with his live stage shows.

His departure leaves only Amanda Holden on the judging panel since David Hasselhoff was axed last month.

A source said to be close to Michael reports that the star’s fee for judging on BGT isn’t enough to make him pull out of stage shows, which net him a good deal more.

Speaking to The Sun, the source said, “Michael has been weighing it up for a while as he does like the show and enjoyed being on the panel.

“But his first love is comedy and he wanted to embark on a tour and concentrate on that.” Read more & comment »

Britain’s Got Talent: David Walliams tipped to replace David Hasselhoff

The Daily Mirror today reports that comedian David Walliams is being hotly tipped to replace BGT judge David Hasselhoff on the show.

The paper reports that ITV ditched The Hoff because they want someone who’s “younger, fresher and more exciting”.

At present, the only judge guaranteed a place on the BGT panel this year is comedian Michael McIntyre. Amanda Holden’s immediate future with the show is in doubt as she will be heavily pregnant when the new series begins later this year.

The paper adds, “Other names in the frame to ramp up BGT’s appeal include pop singer Jessie J, Gavin & Stacey star James Corden, pop legend George Michael and actress Billie Piper.”

A show insider told the paper, “Viewing figures were a little disappointing over the whole of the last series.

Britain’s Got Talent 2011: Amanda Holden says of her pregnancy, “Everything is going to be fine”

BGT judge Amanda Holden has told The Sun that she’s certain that her latest pregnancy will go well.

Amanda of course suffered the heartache of a miscarriage earlier this year.

However, having revealed she’s expecting a baby girl, Amanda said, “This time I just know everything is going to be fine.”

Amanda also announced that she’s now over 12 weeks pregnant, and added, “I never dreamt it would happen so quickly, so when it did we both decided we’d try not to think about it until I reached the 12-week mark.

Britain’s Got Talent 2011: Ronan Parke signs with Sony Records!

Even though he didn’t win this year’s BGT, Ronan Parke has reportedly been signed up by Sony Records in a joint deal between the label and Simon Cowell’s own label, Syco.

The twelve year old singing sensation wowed audiences on the ITV show earlier this year with his dulcet tones and amazing stage presence, but he will probably be most remembered for the fix furore that erupted around him, after a self proclaimed insider claimed that he had been signed by SYCO two years before and groomed for fame from a young age.

Thankfully, the allegations were found to be false and Ronan has now went on to land his first record deal.

Susan Boyle will soon see her life story made into a stage show.

The former Britain’s Got Talent contestant – who went on to break international sales records and sell more than 14 million albums worldwide – will see her childhood and teenage years become the focus of new international stage production ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ in 2012.

Britain’s Got Talent: Louis Walsh thinks Jai McDowall was just an X Factor reject

Louis Walsh has admitted that he doesn’t think the British public chose the right person, when they voted for the winner of Britain’s Got Talent last week.

24 year old Jai McDowall took the £100,000 prize money when he triumphed on the ITV show, over 12 year old singing sensation Ronan Parke and the X factor judge is sure that viewers got it wrong.

Britain’s Got Talent 2011: Ronan Parke paid double Jai McDowall’s fee

Ronan Parke is reportedly earning the highest fees of all the Britain’s Got Talent finalists, despite the fact that he didn’t win the show last week.

The 12 year old crooner was pipped to the post by Scottish singer Jai McDowall on the final of the ITV series, however sources have claimed that he is now commanding £30,000 for just 15 minutes’ work, while Jai is being offered £15,000.

David Hasselhoff says he can’t be ditched like Cheryl Cole!

During an interview for Heart FM yesterday, BGT judge David Hasselhoff joked that he couldn’t be axed like Cheryl Cole was because, “I’m booked” by Simon Cowell to continue with Britain’s Got Talent.

He also commented that Cheryl should “wake up and smell the coffee” with regard to the fact that there’s no way back for her with the X Factor USA now that Nicole Scherzinger has taken Cheryl’s place.

And when asked about the issue of Cheryl’s accent, David said, “The only problem with Cheryl Cole and me is that if we had a conversation, she wouldn’t understand me and I wouldn’t understand her.”

He then went on to joke that maybe his accent could’ve got him sacked, and joked, “But that’s okay, because I’m booked.” Read more & comment »
