Kelly Brook has hinted that Alesha Dixon may end up regretting her decision to leave Strictly Come Dancing, so she can take up a judges’ role on Britain’s Got Talent.

Brook was hired for the show back in 2009 but fired after only a few days of auditions, reportedly at the request of show hosts Ant and Dec.

The actress and model also took part in Strictly Come Dancing and was partnered by Brendan Cole and told Fabulous magazine that she much preferred the BBC show to it’s ITV rival.

Brook said:

“I’ve been on both sides, and for me there’s a warmth and a niceness to Strictly that BGT simply doesn’t have.

“The whole thing is a circus and I don’t want my life to be like that. I’m quite straightforward. I’ve got enough drama in my life without having to deal with Simon Cowell’s as well! I don’t want it. I’ve got no interest in it.”

On Alesha’s move to BGT, Kelly added:

“I don’t doubt for a second that Simon deliberately stole her from Strictly. I wish Alesha all the best – it’s a fantastic opportunity.”

Kelly also hit the headlines this week, after she tweeted out quite a suggestive picture of herself, holding some coconuts. Warning….there will be boobs if you click through on this link!

Ant and Dec have once again hit success on the National Television Awards.

Tonight the Geordie duo – best known as the hosts of Britain’s Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent – beat Keith Lemon, Dermot O’Leary and Michael McIntyre to win in the category of ‘Best Entertainment Presenter’.

The boys may be used to scooping awards but they were as humble as ever as they accepted their trophy from Kermit The Frog and Dec said:

Thank you, we have been lucky enough to win a couple of these over the last few years and every time sitting there and hearing your name being read out, it feels like the first time we ever won it again. We are just so honoured and humbled to have gotten your votes again for this we really are. Thank you so much.

Ant added:

I want to say a massive thank you to Sir Bruce Forsythe for allowing us to come on and do the opening with him and if we have a career half as long and half as successful as him, then we’ll both be very happy.

David Walliams won the ‘Landmark Award’ at tonight’s National Television Awards ceremony.

The brand new Britain’s Got Talent judge was being recognised for the huge swimming challenge which he took on last year in aid of Sports Relief.

Starting on 5 September 2011, Walliams swam the 140 mile swimmable length of the river Thames, completing his challenge on 12 September 2011 reaching Westminster Bridge.

During the challenge he was struck down with symptoms of hypothermia, severe stomach problems due to the bacteria in the water and suffered a torn disc. The Little Britain star swam up to twelve hours each day and upon finishing his eight-day swim,it was announced that he had raised over one million pounds for Sport Relief.

Accepting his award tonight, Walliams said:

All it was was showing off. I would like to share this award with the man you saw in the film, Professor Greg Whyte. He’s been behind all the Sports Relief challenges. All I can say is that it was the best and worst week of my life.

It was the worst week because I had to swim 140 miles and it was the best week of my life because you all came out and supported me and most importantly donated all your money.

Never one to stay serious for long, David then joked that Alan Carr may have something up his sleeve for 2012 and laughed:

I’ve got a bit of an exclusive, because I was talking to Alan Carr earlier and he says he’s going to do it this year in a thong!

We love Ant and Dec, they can literally do now wrong on telly – unless you count that woeful game show Red and Black but we blame Simon Cowell for that – however we somehow always forget that the TV duo were singers long before they became the nation’s favourite TV presenters.

The Britain’s Got Talent hosts of course shot to fame on BBC kids show Byker Grove and joined forces soon after to release their first single together as ‘PJ and Duncan.’

The boys recorded three albums together and while we remember their success in the UK, we didn’t realise that like The Hoff, the pair were actually really popular in Germany and Japan also.

Check out the hilarious video of Ant and Dec aka PJ and Duncan performing a cover of Japanese duo KinKi Kids’ tune Garasu No Shounen in 1997 below.

Only one line of the song is in English and we were quite impressed with the boys’ linguistic skills, until Dec admitted on Twitter that they were reading the entire song off a board beside the camera!

Maybe they should enter Britain’s Got Talent this year instead of hosting it?

David Hasselhoff has been forced to cancel his Uk tour it has been claimed, because he couldn’t sell enough tickets for the shows.

Just months after he was sacked from the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel, the former Baywatch star cancelled all but one of his planned concerts in the UK due to a lack of interest.

The actor and singer had planned to perform in British cities such as Birmingham, Newcastle and Cardiff however revealed at the weekend that most of the gigs would not now be going ahead.

His team have blamed ‘logistical problems’ for the cancellations but the real reasons were made clear by The Hoff’s welsh girlfriend Hayley Roberts who tweeted last week:

“Get ur tickets this min or he av2 cancel.”

She later deleted the Twitter post.

But an insider told The Sun: “It’s no secret tickets didn’t sell as well as David would have hoped and it was decided it was for the best to cancel most of the dates.

“But he is still really excited about the London event and can’t wait to see all his fans there.”

Fern Britton was originally considered for the role of a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, it has been revealed.

The former This Morning presenter filmed a pilot for the ITV show back in 2006, in which she was sandwiched in between Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan at the infamous judging table.

The buxom star was later axed from the lineup and replaced by Amanda Holden and original host – Pau O’Grady – pulled out at the last minute, after a row with ITV bosses.

Clips from the never seen before episode will air on The Talent Show Story on ITV tomorrow night and will feature Fern critiquing acts including a ventriloquist and a young dancer.

Britain’s Got Talent launched in 2007, with Simon, Piers and Amanda at the helm and presented by TV duo Ant and Dec.

The lineup has changed somewhat over the years and when the show returns this spring, the panel will consist of Simon, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and old faithful Amanda.

David Hasselhoff looks at home already!

David Hasselhoff has confirmed that he will not be judging on Britain’s Got Talent when it returns next year.

Reports emerged in October that the Baywatch star had been sacked by ITV bosses, who didn’t think he came across well on last year’s series of the reality TV show.

However no official announcements were made until the star revealed the news himself today. He wrote on his website:

“So it’s official. I’m not coming back to Britain’s Got Talent. So if you want to see me live come check me out in Bristol as Hoff the Hook in Peter Pan XXX.”

“Thanks to everyone who supported me on my Britain’s Got Talent days. Nothing but fond memories of the cast and crew and thanks to Simon Cowell.”

Comedian Michael McIntyre won’t be on the panel either and announced his decision to step down as a judge recently, claiming that he wants to concentrate on his stand up tour in 2012.

Reports have emerged, suggesting that former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue will replace one of the men and sources claim that the Australian star has gotten as far as sorting out timetables and dates with show bosses.

However, she is continuing to deny all knowledge of the talks and tweeted:

“BGT headlines – all news to me. Planning to be back on UK TV soon so hold tight.”

It has also been claimed that both David Walliams and Samantha Womack are possible BGT judges and Amanda Holden confirmed this week that although she will be heavily pregnant, she is planning to attend the ITV auditions in a few months time.

Cheryl Cole has admitted that she genuinely likes her X Factor replacement Tulisa Contostavlos, no matter what you may read in the gossip magazines.

In her first proper interview in ages, the former ITV judge insisted that she has known the N-Dubz star for ‘years’ and has genuine affection for the brunette beauty and no jealousy over the fact that she took her X Factor job.

She told InStyle magazine:

‘I’ve known her for years. She came to my birthday party. You know what’s funny? People are surprised I say I’ll be watching and that I’m a fan of Tulisa’s but all they know is what they read in the gossip magazines and it tends to be crap.’

The ‘Promise This’ hitmaker revealed that she had to totally change her lifestyle after contracting malaria last year. She had to start eating healthily and eating more after doctors informed her she was too thin, but now she’s back to full health and can party with pals again.

Speaking to the magazine, she admitted that she is ‘awful at drinking’ but credits late singer Amy Winehouse for introducing her to her favourite tipple.

‘I like a drink if it’s a night out,’ she added. ‘Amy Winehouse once got me on to Jack Daniel’s and lemonade, which sounds strange but it’s really refreshing.’

Rumours around Cole taking a judging role on Britain’s Got Talent have circulated for months and stepped up a level, after Amanda Holden recently admitted she’d love to work with Chez.

But she admitted that she turned down the show a few years ago, before she even landed her X Factor seat.

‘Simon had previously asked me to do Britain’s Got Talent and I’d kind of said ‘‘yes’’, then said ‘‘no’’ at the last minute and dropped them in it,’ she said.

Katherine Jenkins has admitted that she would love to judge on Britain’s Got Talent.

The show is down two panel members for it’s 2012 run, after Michael McIntyre recently announced his decision to quit and David Hasselhoff was reportedly fired. The opera singing beauty thinks she would be the perfect replacement.

The blonde beauty has experience, she has judged celebrities on Popstar To Operastar for the last two years and let’s face it she has plenty of performances of her own under her belt.

She told The Sun:

“I’m sure Britain’s Got Talent would be a lot of fun. I would consider it if I was asked.”

Katherine may just have a shot at the job too, as it was reported yesterday that Simon Cowell wants a beauty for the role, having offered judging jobs to both former X Factor judges Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole.
