Calvin Harris has admitted that he is keen to coast on someone else’s success for a while.
The record producer and DJ has recently topped the UK singles chart with his track Bounce, in collaboration with NME award winner Kelis and confessed that other female stars he’d like to work with, in order to boost his popularity, include former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole and sultry songstress Ellie Goulding.
Harris told the Sunday Mirror: “I’d love to work with somebody like Cheryl Cole, she would be ace.

Following chart topping DJ, Calvin Harris’ display of desperation to perform with John and Edward Grimes during their unique rendition of Under Pressure, Boylesports is offering a price of 5/1 that they will do a duet together in 2010.
Boylesports has also released a number of specials this week to celebrate the halfway mark on this year’s X Factor with odds of 4/1 on offer for Dannii and Louis to swap seats again.

Calvin Harris won’t be shocked to hear that he has been banned from ITV’s X Factor forever!
The musician was evicted from the studios on Saturday night, after he jumped on stage during John and Edward Grimes with a pineapple on his head.
A source told the Daily Record: “Simon Cowell did not see the funny side. He thinks Calvin Harris is an idiot.”

Calvin Harris has been chatting about his pineapple invasion on Saturday night’s X Factor and the reasons behind his stunt.
Harris claims that he pulled the prank in order to highlight how much of a joke the show really is.

Calvin Harris has offered a tongue in cheek apology, after crashing the X Factor stage during John and Edward Grimes’ performance on Saturday night.
Calvin told The Sun:
“It’s not for my own publicity. I’m not a celebrity – I make music.
“Dancing on stage with a pineapple on your head is a very stupid thing to do, but I also want to suggest that it’s a very stupid television programme.”
