Camilla Dallerup has said what the rest of us were thinking, ITV are giving Katie Price way too much camera time.

The Danish dancer walked out of the jungle yesterday and said that so many funny and interesting moments aren’t being aired by ITV, due to a bias towards glamour model, Katie Price.

“I feel sorry for the 10 friends I have left behind in there,” the Strictly Come Dancing star told the Daily Star.

“We all went into the jungle together and we had bonded during our first two days in there. Then, on Monday, in comes Kate Price. And I am afraid it’s now become The Kate Show.

“I can tell you there have been so many funny moments in there. People like George Hamilton have told us some amazing stories about the people he’s met – I mean, he’s met Fred Astaire. Everyone in there has had such an interesting life but none of it has been seen by viewers.

“From what I gather all that’s been seen of me is about five minutes of me crying and being ill.”

Dallerup added: “I was scared. I knew she could be a handful and I was always more Team Peter. Some of the celebrities in there are scared to voice their opinions about her.”

I’m A Celebrity contestant Camilla Dallerup dramatically left the show early this morning, however her boyfriend says that it wasn’t her decision to go.

Hollyoaks actor Kevin Sacre wrote on his Twitter page:

“Can’t say a lot people, but I can say she was pulled. She didn’t walk… and remember they’ve actually been in there since Friday night, our time.”

Sacre had previously complained that the producers were editing the show badly, showing more of Katie Price than of the other campmates.

He tweeted:

“And straight back to Katie zzzzzzz,” he said. “Well I know the real Camilla and I haven’t seen my bolshy girl yet! Very annoyed at the moment!”

Breaking news is that the professional dancer will be replaced by professional boxer, Joe Bugner.

Bugner has twice held the British and British Commonwealth heavyweight titles and was a three time European heavyweight champion. He retired in 1999 and now lives in the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia.

Camilla Dallerup has walked out of I’m A Celebrity after only three days in the jungle.

Camilla has struggled since she entered the camp, feeling constantly ill and exhausted. Viewers saw her crying to Kim Woodburn and Sabrina Washington:

‘I just can’t sleep properly and I can’t think properly.

‘My brain’s not working. It’s only three days in, so what’s going to happen after this?

‘I’m scared because I don’t want to put my health in danger and I can’t think straight.’

After repeated visits to Bush Telegraph for crisis talks with show bosses, Camilla decided to leave rather than face another night in camp. So a 70 year old man with health issues can cope but a 35 year old professional dancer can’t. Seems a bit wimpy to me.

Camilla Dallerup has certainly not been enjoying her I’m A Celebrity experience. Just hours after arriving in the jungle she was crying because she felt dizzy and faint and on her second night she had to wake up Katie Price because she was feeling so low.

Katie told the bush telegraph: “She woke me up. It’s a case of sticking together and helping each other. I had to convince her and say, ‘You know, just stick with it and you’ll be ok.’ I slept like a log last night because I’ve been here before it felt more familiar. But it’s different. There’s a different group of people here.”

Camilla told Katie that she was panicking and felt feverish and started to cry. Katie told her to stop panicking and calmed her down. “A hundred per cent, you can do it. Don’t give up yet. If you need to wake me 10 million times a night then do it. Don’t cry.”

But the following morning Camilla still felt ill and weak and wasn’t on form. Stuart asked her if she was drinking water. “Yes, but it goes straight through. I’ve never felt this weak. I’m thinking what a hard job it is to get to the shower,” she replied. Stuart told her that he thought it was heat exhaustion combined with not eating.

Camilla said: “It’s not eating. Heat, I can deal with. I’ve got the highest metabolism of anyone I know. I feel useless being here so tired. You can’t help anyone.”

Stuart encouraged Camilla to take a dab of sugar to keep her strength up but she refused saying that she felt guilty. But he insisted: “Stop worrying about it. Everyone’s different in here. We don’t want you being ill all the time. If you need sugar you step up and have some sugar.”

“I don’t want to be a burden,” Camilla moaned.

I don’t think Camilla’s going to be a bundle of laughs in there do you?

One wonders why Camilla Dallerup bothered to sign up for this year’s I’m A Celebrity. On tonight’s show we saw her awake from her first night of jungle sleep, we say awake but she claims that she didn’t actually sleep due to all the scary insects. She moped about looking glum for the rest of the day until she had her crying episode because she was so tired and hungry.

The professional dancer wailed:

“I just can’t sleep properly and I can’t think properly. My brain’s not working. Can you imagine, it’s only three days in, what will happen? I’m scared because I don’t want to put my health in danger and I can’t think straight. I’m just so scared.”

Unreality TV had actually hoped that Camilla would bring some life and cheer to the jungle camp and brighten up our dreary winter nights. However, if all she’s going to do is moan and weep, we will be forced to mount a campaign trying to get her doing all the bushtucker trials. That will send her running for the hills!

Strictly Come Dancing professional Camilla Dallerup has provided us with the first female shower shot of the series. But does it live up to Myleene Klass’s iconic white bikini shot?

Camillla was seen entering the jungle by horse on last night’s show, which sounds kind of lame but got very scary as their horses had to swim them through a river and various celebs were thrown off. I think Camilla will prove to be a real trooper on the show.

The I’m A Celebrity females have reportedly made a pact to stand up to Katie Price, when she enters their jungle camp.

The Daily Star reports that former glamour model Sam Fox made a pact with dancer Camilla Dallerup and singer Sabrina Washington about how they will respond to Katie when she arrives.

A source said: “To say Jordan is going to be met with some hostility is an understatement. She’s already put people’s noses out of joint and she hasn’t even set foot in Australia yet.

“If she thinks she is going to strut in and run the show, she is in for a massive shock because these lot, especially Sam, are not going to bow down to her. Sam has been there, done that and got the T-shirt, so she’s not going to be a pushover.”

Camilla Dallerup has insisted that she will not shower naked on I’m A Celebrity but she may provide us with some cracking bikini shots.

“Myleene looked fantastic and I think she did come across so lovely on the show. I think it is important to get a bikini because I certainly will not be showering naked,” she said.

“I shall find one that doesn’t fall down when you’re showering. But, I have heard that the water is quite cold.”

Dallrup also admitted that she hopes to wile away some of the hours in jungle camp, by organising a dance competition for the celebrities.

“I definitely think dancing may need to be brought to the campfire. I think that we will need some entertainment and exercise when we are out there, so as not get too bored,” she stated. “I just hope they are up for a dance.

“If the other teammates are up for it, I think it could be great to have a competition. We could have a goal together, sort of a bit of team-building. You do a lot of team-building anyway using dance, and it could be quite fun to see if it could help, especially if we have a bad day or something, a bit of dancing could bring us back and have a laugh.”

Dancer, teacher and model Camilla Dallerup is planning on using her skills on the dance floor to entertain her fellow camp mates.

The Danish born dancer, best known for her regular appearance on Strictly Come Dancing is even hoping she may be able to challenge the other celebrities to their own dancing competition.

She says: “I definitely think dancing may need to be brought to the camp-fire. I think that we will need some entertainment and exercise when we are out there, so as not get too bored. I just hope they are up for a dance.

“If the other team-mates are up for it, I think it could be great to have a competition. We could have a goal together, sort of a bit of team building. You do a lot of team building anyway using dance, and it could be quite fun to see if it could help, especially if we have a bad day or something, a bit of dancing could bring us back and have a laugh.”

Whilst often seen in revealing costumes, the ballroom star admits that it’s her love of food that may cause her problems in the jungle – if she has to go without, it will be more murder on the jungle floor than dance floor.

She adds: “The thing that people don’t know about me is that I love my food. I eat quite a lot…and I think that because I’m obviously used to running around or dancing; burning it off, I don’t know how I will feel having a small ration of food.

“I’m constantly hungry and I am someone who really likes my food, at least three times a day, three proper meals and having the same meal over and over again, that does really worry me. The thing is, if I get a bit hungry, I might get a bit snappy. I think that if you are not eating well or sleeping well, it can be difficult.

“I will miss all the lush things that one eats all day, every day, things like lattes, cappuccinos and chocolate bars and crisps and all the naughty stuff. The thought of not being able to have a cup of coffee is really freaking me out. It is so basic, it is ridiculous to say that, but I think I will miss my one latte a day.”

The chorographer maybe able to cook up a storm with her show stopping routines but Camilla admits that she lacks any skills in the kitchen. Waltzing off with last year’s trophy for the BBC1 show with actor Tom Chambers and creating a sizzling rumba for the movie Everything To Dance For, Camilla is hoping that the duty of camp chef won’t fall at her feet.

She laughs: “I don’t want to be the cook. I will not be the cook. I cannot cook and I think that I need to apologise now, because I think I would burn all the food and that would mean no rations for that day. I might just have to ask if I can do the dishes, because seriously, the food could be in danger… I could burn salad.

“I think the meal you are going to be given out there are going to taste completely different, maybe you appreciate things. I always thought that I’m not addicted to chocolate or coffee or things, but maybe I am.”

Competing professionally since 2000 with former dance partner Brendon Cole, Camilla reveals whilst she is hoping that the jungle experience will allow the viewers to see a different side of her, she’s not looking forward to being on TV without her make-up.

She says: “I don’t know if I will feel competitive, because the whole part of being in the jungle is that you have got to work as a team… I am hoping that I will find some inner strength when I am out there, but right now, there is a lot of fear. Because, I’m the one always in control of the situation…but this time round, it is someone else, you don’t know what to expect.

“I think that obviously it would be nice to show the audience out there that there is a different side to Camilla and that I’m not all glitz and glamour…I’m fine not wearing make-up when no one has to see me, but to be on screen in front of everyone. I’m used to having all the glamorous hair and dresses and make-up, but well they are going to see me and they are either going to love it or hate it.”

The dancing star may be gearing up to be stripped of all her luxuries; she admits that she has no plans to be the first female celebrity to bath naked in the jungle. “Myleene Klass looked fantastic and I think she did come across so lovely on the show. I think it is important to get a bikini because I certainly will not be showering naked. I shall find one that doesn’t fall down when you’re showering. But, I have heard that the water is quite cold.

“There is no make-up, there is no glitz, and you are what you are, so slightly naked. You are stripped to your bare essentials, you have nothing around you. I probably can’t even wear my engagement ring. I think it is safer to leave it at home. That will feel weird.”

Having grown up in Denmark which she admits is ‘clean and sterile’ Camilla is hoping her time in the jungle will help overcome her fear of creepy crawlies – and eventually be able to go to festivals with fiancée, actor Kevin Sacre.

She adds: “I just really don’t like any creepy crawlies. I used to travel a lot in Australia and New Zealand and I always thought how lovely it would be to grow up in a country like Australia and be used to having snakes in the back garden and poisonous spiders and not be scared.

Kevin keeps saying to me, ‘Shall we go to a festival and we will do the whole tent thing?’ And I’m like, ‘but we could also have a caravan’ And he says, “No honey, that’s not the real festival way’. I did say to him that with this experience I could do the festival and the tent. Glastonbury, here we come.”
