The Voice UK: David Julien, Toni Warne and Cassius Henry will never try out for X Factor

Despite having been axed from The Voice, hopefuls David Julien, Toni Warne and Cassius Henry have all stated that they’d never try out for X Factor or for Britain’s Got Talent.

And David even launched a scathing attack on X Factor judge Louis Walsh, saying, “Louis Walsh, he loves a bit of pantomime doesn’t he. He should stick to that.”

He added that he’s never been a fan of the format on X Factor which sees wannabes criticised for their performances.

The Voice 2012 Results: Cassius Henry will keep going for his late brother

Cassius Henry has admitted that he will keep moving forward with his music career, because he knows that’s what his late brother would have wanted.

The talented singer was eliminated from The Voice last night, after Jessie J chose to save Becky Hill over he and Toni Warne, following the revelation that Vince Kidd had been saved by the public.

The Voice UK results: Who left? Cassius Henry, Toni Warne, Aleks Josh & David Julien!

The Voice UK continued last night and the eight Team Jessie and Team Danny artists sang live to survive as not one but two contestants from both competing groups were eliminated from the competition…

The four remaining artists on TEAM JESSIE (Vince Kidd, Toni Warne, Becky Hill, Cassius Henry) and TEAM DANNY (Aleks Josh, Max Milner, Bo Bruce, David Julien) took to the stage in a bid to impress the coaches and the viewers at home. Both teams also took to the stage and performed with their coach for the very first time.

It’s The Apprentice’s @HarryMaxwell here with my latest column covering DA VOICE exclusively for Unreality TV. I’ve been a little quiet over the past two weeks but am BACK and rearing to go.

I really enjoyed Saturday’s show. The live shows have been a little clunky and a bit like FFS I DON’T WANT TO SEE THEIR BLIND AUDITION AGAIN! But it was on form this week.

Anyway on with the “CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM” as Jessie J said every five minutes…

The Voice 2012: Danny O’Donoghue doesn’t think Cassius Henry’s ‘Turning Tables’ was strong enough! (VIDEO)

Cassius Henry took on an Adele song on tonight’s episode of The Voice, but not one of the ones that have been sang to death by reality TV hopefuls.

The 32 year old London born singer didn’t take on ‘Chasing Pavements’, or ‘Make You Feel My Love,’ but the slightly lesser known track by the award winning performer – ‘Turning Tables.’

The Voice UK: Jessie J says Toni Warne, Cassius Henry, Becky Hill & Vince Kidd will have more production

Jessie J has revealed that she will be putting a huge amount of effort into the performances by Toni Warne, Cassius Henry, Becky Hill and Vince Kidd on this week’s The Voice live show.

The ‘Laserlight’ hitmaker says she intends to ‘raise her game’ after Team Tom and Team Will shone so brightly last Saturday and revealed that she and her group have worked non stop over the last five days, to ensure that their performances are the best they can be.

Tomorrow night the four remaining Team Jessie stars will return to the stage, to battle it out for just two places going forward to the semi final.

The Voice: Cassius Henry, Toni Warne, Vince Kidd, Becky Hill give a stonking performance of ‘Canned Heat (VIDEO)

Cassius Henry, Toni Warne, Vince Kidd, Becky Hill may have had a night off from their individual performances on The Voice this week, but the hopefuls still had a chance to shine on tonight’s results show.

Team Jessie watched on last night as Team Tom and Team Will performed both on a solo basis and then as a group with their coaches and tonight, on the pre-recorded results show we were treated to an ensemble rendition of ‘Canned Heat’ from the four singers.

The Voice UK: Cassius Henry sees Jessie J as a ‘friend’

Cassius Henry has admitted that he was blown away by Jessie J’s comments to him on last week’s episode of The Voice.

After he sang what will.i.am described as a ‘gangsta’ rendition of Coldplay’s ‘Paradise’, the ‘Domino’ hitmaker raved about his performance, saying:

“Sometimes risks are good and sometimes they are bad and I love that you took risks and did things with your voice. I sat back and enjoyed you becoming the artist you deserve to be.”

The Voice Top 10 Performances: Team Jessie versus Team Danny

It was time tonight for the two youngest coaches on The Voice to show what their teams can do. Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue’s teams hit the stage for tonight’s live show, and though the first couple of acts were rough, what followed was an impressive array of talent.

We’ve taken a look at the performances tonight and here’s our rundown from best to worst. Tonight’s The Voice had some great vocal performances – we expected Becky Hill and Bo Bruce to be brilliant, and they were – but singers like Hannah Berney, Aleks Josh, David Julien and Cassius Henry made us take a second look with some polished performances and interesting interpretations of old songs. The Voice 2012: Cassius Henry brings the gangsta to ‘Paradise ‘ (VIDEO)

Cassius Henry is one of the most accomplished performers on The Voice, so we were expecting great things from the 32 year old this evening.

The singer – who has previously performed with Wyclef Jean and Kanye West – took on ‘Paradise’ by Coldplay and when we heard his song choice, we suspected it would be well suited to his dulcet tones.
