Lisa Rinna has become the second star to be fired from America’s Celebrity Apprentice.

The TV presenter and actress is best known for her roles as Billie Reed on Days of our Lives, Taylor McBride on Melrose Place, and most recently as the host of SoapNet’s Soap Talk.

She came under fire last night after obvious rival Star Jones suggested she lead the girls team as project manager and when they failed, Donald Trump decided that Lisa would be the one to take the fall.

Lisa’s team were asked to write a children’s book and then perform it for a group of young children. The problems arose when contestants NeNe Leakes and Jones tried to sabotage her reign and the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star later admitted:

‘We choose Lisa because we didn’t think she would handle it and it’s best to get her out now.’

Lisa confessed:

‘I didn’t want to be the project manager, but everybody wanted me to.’

When men’s project leader Meatloaf led his team to victory and scored $20,000 for his chosen charity, he broke down in tears and revealed that he would like the cash to be donated to Painted Turtle, which helps terminally ill children go to camp.

Star and NeNe then took their turn to hit out at Lisa, telling Trump that she was a bad project manager. When Rinna chose Dionne and Star to accompany her back to the boardroom, Mr Trump said that he couldn’t see much fight in Lisa, and that the pair were “killing her”. She claimed she was being ‘thrown under the bus’ but in the end, nothing she said was enough and her time on the reality TV show is over.

Patsy was going all out to impress Sir Alan Sugar for the TV show that’s to raise money for Children In Need.

Other celebrities on the show include Countdown genius Carol Vorderman, GMTV’s Fiona Phillips, lingerie guru Michelle Mone and comics Alan Carr and Ruby Wax, 55.

Fashion and stylist expert Gok Wan was there to offer advice to the celebrities in the run up to Children In Need night next Friday.

And her fellow Square actress Rita Simons – who plays Roxy – has been dressing to thrill in a sexy mini-dress for the filming of a Children In Need advert.

Rita shows off her lovely pins and slim figure in the ad which will also be shown on Friday’s Children In Need charity night.

Last year saw celebrities compete against each other for the approval of business guru, Sir Alan Sugar,and we were lucky enough to witness Piers Morgan being sacked for the second time.

This year the BBC are said to be on the hunt for celebrities, but former BBC chief Greg Dyke is said to be the first contestant to sign up.
