“24” Ben replied, and when asked the same question, Josie said, “28.”

However, he decided the new hair do just wasn’t him, so he’s gelled and spiked it again.

Ben is the only housemate who hasn’t received his suitcase, so the Tree of Temptation has given the housmates the chance to get it back for him!

While Ife was being interviewed by Davina, Ben was called to the Diary Room, and the other housemates were summoned to the bathroom by the Tree…

After calling them all “idiots”, the Tree told the housemates that they had to dress like Ben, talk like Ben and behave as if they had “corgis stuck up your ar*es.”

If the housemates can maintain behaving as Ben for 24 hours, he’ll get his suitcase back.

Costumes were provided in the Tree’s drawers, and when Ben reappeared from the Diary Room, all the other housemates were back on the sofas, behaving just like Ben!

They were speaking plummily and all had Ben wigs on. The man himself looked completely bemused by the living area being overrun with his clones!

So how will they cope with the Bendurance task?

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Nicola T has split up with her fiance Simon Walton.

The pair, who have a one year old daughter Poppy, were planning their dream wedding and we were subjected to hours of Nicola’s gushing on the subject during her time in the BB house.

A pal told The People: “Nicola spent most of her time in the house talking about her wonderful relationship and how much she was looking forward to her wedding.

“But their relationship wasn’t quite as rosy as it appeared to viewers. The strain has got to them and now the wedding is on hold and they’re ‘on a break’.”

The friend added: “It’s very sad for all involved but you never know, they may patch things up.”

Channel 4 has issued an apology after Vinnie Jones used the word “retard” live on E4′s Celebrity Big Brother’s Big Mouth.

During the live show on the 29th of January, Vinnie Jones jibed that host Davina McCall was “walking like a retard”. McCall replied: “I don’t walk like a retard.”

Disabilities campaigner Nicky Clark blasted the channel for not addressing Jones’ use of the word on the show and for allowing McCall to repeat it. The Channel later claimed that their producers missed the comments due to tiredness but speaking to Little White Lies, Clark said:

“Ultimately they use disability charities to boost their public profiles. Disablism is disablism, no matter how late the hour or how tired they are. Racism wouldn’t be excused this way. If the comments had been racist both of the celebrities would have been disciplined but to date no action has been taken.”

In an apology Channel 4′s viewers’ editor Paula Carter said: “I have spoken to the commissioning team responsible for Big Brother who regret that, in the heat of the moment during a live programme, Vinnie Jones’s comment that Davina ‘walked like a retard’ was allowed to go unchecked.

“We would normally respond to an inappropriate comment of that nature by asking the presenter to admonish the person responsible and apologise to the audience but on this occasion, at the very end of an intensive day, this did not happen.”

She added: “We have removed their comments from the VOD version of the programme. Please accept my apologies on behalf of Channel 4, Endemol and Davina and our best wishes for your campaigning work, which is very much in the spirit of Channel 4′s founding principles.”

Vinnie Jones’s publicist Jonathan Hackford released a statement saying: “On behalf of Vinnie Jones I’d like to apologise for any offence caused by comments made on Big Brother’s Big Mouth on January 29, 2010.

“While the show was live and the conversation was unscripted and off the cuff, Vinnie in no way meant to upset anyone and fully appreciates the choice of word was inappropriate.”

However, Clark argued that “racism wouldn’t be excused this way” and added: “Disability abuse happens every day. When a national broadcaster allows this behaviour to go unchallenged they are saying it’s acceptable.”

Celebrity Big Brother runner-up Dane Bowers has admitted that he was shocked to hear that the public had branded Vinnie Jones a bully, during his time in the BB house.

Speaking on Live From Studio Five, Dane said: “I was very surprised when I came out and saw what people had [said] about him.

“I’ve watched it all back now and I get why people didn’t like him, but you missed a lot. To watch it, you don’t see what we’ve done and what happened.”

He added: “He was not a bully. I got away with this I think, because we ribbed people in there.

“You know what it’s like, it’s banter, you take the mickey out of everyone.”

On Alex Reid reacted to Vinnie’s taunts Dane said:

“To his credit, he can take it really well.

“He’s thick-skinned but also he can have fun with it. He was a gent in there.”

Celebrity Big Brother runner up Vinnie Jones, has revealed that he intends to open an English themed pub in Santa Monica.

The Hollywood hardman is teaming up with pal Jason Statham and plans to name the watering hole ‘The Snatch’ after their 2000 movie.

Vinnie told The Sun:

“Me and Jay have been talking about it for about a year.

“We were thinking The Snatch Bar or something like that down in Santa Monica. We’re going to do it, it’s just a question of us finding the time.

“Jay has been working so much and so have I. That and golf. People say, ‘What do you mean you’ve been working?’ I’m working on my handicap.

“The pubs will happen. We had a great spot right opposite the pier in Santa Monica. They just wanted too much rent. Me and Jay went to look at it and we had three other investors, all Brits.”

Celebrity Big Brother star Dane Bowers has confirmed that he and fellow former housemate Basshunter are considering collaborating on a record together.

The former Another Level singer told BBC Newsbeat:

“I’ve got some good opportunities to do some great bits of writing with different people. Jonas is talking about doing something, which I might try and do.”

On his future in the music industry Dane said:

“It’s great, DJ gigs are coming in thick and fast and labels want to talk,” he said. “It’s great fun. I’m not sure. I would love to. I miss it.”

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Stephen Baldwin gave a very revealing interview to The Guardian this weekend and for all you BB fans out there, it is really worth a read.

He chatted a lot about his fellow housemates and the fact that some were possessed by evil, but we thought the most interesting part is when the interviewer asked what he would do if he discovered one of his daughters was a stripper or a lesbian.

Pulling no punches, Stephen responded:

“Jesus or no Jesus, if my kid started working in a strip club, I’d beat her ass.”

“Now, the other question is interesting and culturally relevant. I have two or three very dear friends who are homosexual and they know I’m born again and we have an understanding that we’re just not going there…”

Stephen then proceeded to say that he admires gay people who reject their tendencies and get married for their faith.

“To turn away from that lifestyle is astonishing,” he claimed.

On gay marriage / civil partnerships Stephen added:

“I believe that the family unit has fundamentally been the most positive thing for society and I don’t believe that any minority has the right to create changes that impact on the majority. That’s really the only issue for me.”

Oh Stephen we think you might have made a few million more enemies with those comments!

Football star turned Hollywood actor Vinnie Jones, has claimed that Big Brother bosses tricked him into entering the Celebrity Big Brother house this year.

After finishing the show in third place last night, Vinnie told The News Of The World that producers had promised him that other famous people take part in the show. Instead he ended up living with people who were only famous because they dated celebrities, not because they were one.

Jones blasted:

“They led me to believe there would be a higher calibre of celebrities.

“I felt very down for the first few days and I wondered what I’d done.

“I thought the level of celebrity was going to be much higher to be honest. I could have mingled a bit easier. I went in as the most recognisable person really. I really struggled.”

Sources have suggested that Katie Price had fully intended to dump Alex Reid as soon as he left the Celebrity Big Brother house, until she realised that he could be worth big money to her.

Having never expected Alex to win the TV show, Katie reportedly told his parents two weeks ago that she was breaking up with him. The News Of The World claims that Katie only changed her mind when she realised that Alex may actually finish well.

A source told the newspaper:

“It’s been carefully calculated. She’s plotted with Alex’s advisors over the last week. She wants to make us much money as possible and knows she needs to exploit her relationship with Alex to do that.

“An engagement story is due in weeks, as that’ll make her the most money. It’s an awful way to think.”

“We all know she was planning to get rid of him in the early days because she’d spoken to us and his parents about it.

“Then she saw Alex becoming popular and her tone started changing in her conversations.

“Everyone close to Alex can see right through it. But he’ll never be told when it comes to her.”

But don’t expect a wedding any time soon, because the insider insists that Katie will bail as soon as she’s met her needs.

“She is only back with Alex because he’s popular now and she knows she can make money from it. This romance won’t last and a wedding will never happen.”
