The Daily Star are busy making a big deal today about the fact that former Big Brother star, Jade Goody has been slagging off the show and claiming that she would never join it’s cast again.

I don’t see what’s so surprising about this statement. Jade is claiming that the new BB series, Celebrity Hijack is crap and that she wouldn’t grace it with her presence. In reality, I seriously doubt if BB bosses would have her back. Not even an Endemol boss would be that publicity hungry!

Jade told The Daily Star:

“It’s just over. I’m done with it.

“But it’s funny isn’t it, a year ago people were shouting: ‘Get Jade Out.’ Now they’re shouting: ‘Get Jade In.’ So I have to say thank you but no, it’s not for me. I’m done with the show. I haven’t watched a minute of this series.”

I can’t help but think, why wouldn’t Jade slag off the show that left her career in tatters? After last years Celebrity Big Brother race row, only a fool would hire Jade Goody, and judging by the amount of TV work she’s had this year, there aren’t that many fools in the business these days!

Channel 4 have released their logo for new reality TV show, Celebrity Hijack.

It’s a bit of a take on the normal Celebrity Big Brother eye, but I couldn’t resist putting up the logo along with the new publicity shot of Dermot O’Leary.

I was in need of my daily Dermot fix.

Channel 4 has announced that Unreality TV’s favourite TV presenter, Dermot O’Leary will present their new show, Celebrity Hijack.

The show will be based on a Big Brother format, but instead of Big Brother ruling the house of 18-24 year olds, various celebrities will step into his shoes.

Dermot will present the E4 show and the live evictions……he is having a busy year isn’t he! Let’s just say we aren’t complaining!

A network spokesperson said: “Big Brother Celebrity Hijack will see a host of different celebrities take on the Big Brother mantle, providing their own unique spin as they interact with the housemates as the voice of Big Brother.

“In addition to acting as the voice of Big Brother, the celebrities will also be involved in setting the housemates’ tasks, talking to them in the diary room, making up their own rules and generally causing havoc. Viewers will be able to watch the celebrities in action, as they take on the Big Brother role.”
