Patrick Kielty this week jetted off to Fiji to begin preparing for this years Love Island 2006.

Patrick remarked

“People think this Love Island is just one, long holiday.

“Well, the weather is gorgeous but there’s a lot of hard work involved too.

“We have to get up at 1.30am to take a long boat ride to the island for the live show.”

Celebrities rumoured to be involved this time include Strictly Come Dancing competitor Brendan Cole, TV presenter Dani Behr, glam model Linsey Dawn McKenzie, footballer Paul Gascoigne’s ex, Sheryl, boy band singer Shayne Lynch and John Prescott’s former lover Tracey Temple.

Fearne Cotton has been signed up as presenter of this years series of Celebrity Love Island after both Liza Tarbuck and Denise Van Outen pulled out.

The show is due to kick off later this month and as a fan of the show, Cotton is over the moon about her latest job, she said to the Daily Star: “I was really hooked so I’m really excited that I’m going to be packing my flip-flops and setting off to the sun.

“This time round I won’t just be gossiping about the show with my mates, but the whole country!�

Hopefully she’ll do a better job than Kelly Brooks did last year!
