Patrick Kielty has admitted that he enjoyed presenting ITV’s Celebrity Love Island, despite the fact that it damaged his presenting career.
The Irish comedian fronted the two series of the show in 2005 and 2006 alongside Kelly Brook and Fearne Cotton, he reportedly feuded with Brook the whole way through seres one.
Kielty told Metro: “I had fun and got paid. It was in Fiji and we had a great time. We just had to go in and watch Paul Danan and Sophie Anderton have meltdowns and spent the rest of the day on the beach.”

Former football star, Paul Gascoigne has reportedly been offered £100,000 to appear on Channel 4′s final Celebrity Big Brother.
Paul was rumoured to have signed up for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, but was dropped after bosses feared he wasn’t well enough to take part.

Former Hollyoaks actor Paul Danan has admitted that appearing on ITV’s Celebrity Love Island has “f**ked up” his acting career.
Paul played Sol Patrick on the Channel 4 soap for three years before trying to make it in America.
“I spent three years auditioning in LA and never got my big break, which is when I agreed to do Love Island,” he told Love It magazine.

Love Island contestant Chris Brosnan, is best known as son of 007 movie star Pierce Brosnan.
Chris is currently working as a film producer, but is perhaps more famous for his troubled past, which has included being rushed to the hospital after a drug overdose, being fined £1,000 for drink-driving in America and serving seven months at London’s Wormwood Scrubs for driving three times over the limit.

Love Island contestant, Brendan Cole, is a dancer from New Zealand who specialises in Latin American dancing.
He has appeared on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, and has also judged two seasons of New Zealand’s own Dancing with the Stars.
Brendan is perhaps most famous for his alledged affair with news reader and dance partner Natasha Kaplinsky, causing both celebrities to split up with their partners at the time.

Lee Otway (born on January 4, 1982 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England) is a British actor. He is most famous for playing the role of David “Bombhead” Burke in the British soap opera Hollyoaks, from 2001 until 2005. He has also appeared in Stars in Their Eyes, Abbamania 2 and was a contestant in the ITV reality singing competition Soapstar Superstar.
In Hollyoaks Lee played Bombhead. He searched high and low for his dad and finally left in 2005 after finding his clown dad and deciding to join the circus with him.
In 2006, The Sun reported that he appeared in a sex video with a model.
Singing Career
Lee Otway has said himself he sees him as a singer rather than an actor. He won as Richard Marx on Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes, and done extremely well in Soapstar Superstar due to his large fanbase. Lee has said he wouldn’t mind having a career as a professional singer, and is considering it, and he has just recently signed a recording deal with Soapstar Superstar judge Billy Sammeth.

Love Island contestant Shane Lynch shot to fame after joining irish boyband ‘Boyzone’ in the mid 1990s.
He is most famous for his drunken tirade at the MTV music awards in 1999 where he claimed rumours of Boyzone disbanding were “fucking shite”.
Shane was married to Eternal singer Esther Bennet for two years vefore they seperated in 2000.
Shane Lynch is no stranger to reality TV, having taken part in Channel 4′s ‘The Games’ in 2004.

Love Island contestant Bianca Gascoigne, is famous footballer Paul Gascoigne’s step daughter.
She has accomplished no fame in her own right, but merely through selling her story on her experience of living with the football legend crybaby Gascigne.
It would seem there is no love lost between Paul and his step-daughter, as he has repeatedly told tabloids that he no longer considers her his child, and wishes she wouls stop using his name.
On the 28th of August 2006 Bianca became the female winner of Love Island 2006. She hopes to rekindle the relationship she started on the island with Leo the Lion, and will probably deck Alicia Douvall for calling her obese!

Love Island contestant, Kéllé Bryan, first came to fame in the early 1990s as part of the English R&B girl group Eternal where she sang on hits such as “Stay” and “Just A Step From Heaven”.
She was dismissed from the group in 1999 and subsequently signed to Mercury Records and released the single “Higher Than Heaven”. However the record did not fare well and Kelle was quickly dropped by the label, fading into obscurity….until NOW!
