Chanelle Hayes has admitted that she wanted to kill herself last year after reading a derogatory magazine article about her body.

Chanelle was admitted to hospital on Thursday after overdosing on painkillers and red wine.

Before that incident, Hayes had told Now: “I went away in January last year and there was a picture of my bum on the cover of a magazine saying, ‘Stars Not On A Diet’. That was it. I wanted to kill myself.

“I started taking laxatives and wouldn’t eat anything. Men always say, ‘I don’t like skinny girls’, but every time someone cheats on me it’s been with someone thinner than me.”

She added: “I think they are lying to my face. I lost half a stone because of swine flu and my boyfriend Matt [Bates] told me how great I looked.”

Former Big Brother housemate Chanelle Hayes has reportedly attempted to commit suicide.

Hayes is said to have consumed a large amount of paracetamol and red wine after an argument with footballer boyfriend Matthew Bates.

A source told The Daily Star: “Chanelle has been having boyfriend troubles with Matt. They had been arguing a lot.

“She took the Paracetamol and red wine out of frustration at how badly things were going. She was in a terrible way.”

Neighbours have admitted that rows like this were not uncommon between the pair.

One said: “They have been having furious rows lately – you can hear the shouting from the street.

“It sounds like they’ve been having a pretty rough time.”

A spokesperson for Chanelle said: “We’ll be monitoring the situation and will be there for her as much as possible.”

Former Big Brother housemate, Chanelle Hayes, has called on Celebrity BB bosses to sex up the current series of the show.

The Daily Star quotes Chanelle as saying: “They are completely brainless. They have the biggest glamour model in the country in the house and she’s not showing off what she does best. They need to get things going and give people something to tune in for.”

Chanelle thinks it would help if bosses turned up the heating in the house, causing some of the beauties to strip off a little.

She said: “When I was in the house we were always running around in our bikinis. But Lucy and even Michelle are walking around in jumpers and coats. So why don’t they turn up the heat so they strip off?

“If they don’t do something soon people are going to stop watching because it’s boring.”

Chanelle Hayes, star of last years Big brother series, has revealed that she is considering moving to America once this years sereis kicks off.

“I think once the new BB series starts I could easily be a leftover,” she told the Daily Star.

“I know Posh is still huge in the US and I think I could extend my career out there.”

Former Big Brother babe, Chanelle Hayes has revealed why she believes fellow housemate, Charley Uchea hasn’t hit the big time since the show ended.

“Love her or hate her, people tuned in to see Charley, but she never made the most of that afterwards,” the 20-year-old told the Daily Star.

“You need to find the right agent for you,” she told the newspaper. “You have to get on with them and, most importantly, trust that they are going to do what’s right for you.”

Chanelle also offered words of wisdom to any new housemates considering entering the house this June.

“Many people come out and think they are going to be the next Ant or Dec, but you have to be realistic,” she apparently said. “I haven’t pigeon holed myself and tried loads of stuff like modelling, music, or even launching my own perfume. If you know what you want then go for it. But be open minded and prepare to work hard.”

Despite my nightly prayer that Big Brother wannabe, Chanelle Hayes would just give up and go away, the blonde bimbo has went and released a single on us!

Not only that, but she is also about to laucnh her own reality TV show on VH1 aptly named Wannabe Pop Star!
