Now we all know that Big Brother’s Chantelle Houghton is more than a little dim! But even she must have known that Boyzone’s Stephen Gately is gay, even if she didn’t, she can’t have seriously thought he was good looking!

The Daily Star has claimed that the blonde bimbo tried to chat up an oblivious Gately at a London Club last weekend.

Celebrity Big Brother winner, Chantelle Houghton has admitted that the ten month marriage between her and singer Preston was a fake.

Preston and Chantelle recently broke up, with Preston running straight back into the arms of his ex Camille Aznar.

Chantelle, 24, told The Daily Star: “I think we only went out because of what was going on around us at the time.

“So was it a lie? I just can’t help but think that.”

Let’s be honest. This isn’t much of a revelation. I can’t believe that anyone would really have been taken in by the sham wedding of the year!

Former Celebrity Big Brother winner, Chantelle Houghton has become the latest celebrity to sign up for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity 2007, according to the Daily Star.

Chantelle is hoping that her new, enhanced breasts will turn a few heads in jungle camp, and she told The Daily Star:

“I want to show him [Preston] exactly what he’s missing!”

Chantelle, a 32B, said: I’d love to be a D cup. Preston didn’t want me to get them done. He said that fake boobs were grotesque but now I can do what I want.”

She added: “I’m looking for fun – but not a man yet! I’m just planning to flirt with as many guys as possible.”

Celebrity Big brother’s golden couple, Chantelle Houghton and Preston have announced their split today.

The pair got married only ten months ago, and though many thought they did it just for the fame and magazine deals the pair still claim that they were madly in love.

“After much soul-searching and tearful discussions we have sadly decided to end our marriage,” a statement said.

“No one else is involved in our decision,”

“We hope we can always remain friends and still love each other, but we both think we put so much pressure on one another to make our marriage work that it has ended up destroying our relationship.”

There have been some suggestions that Ordinary Boys Preston’s marriage to Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton, may already be in trouble. Apparently Preston is still in touch with his ex-fiancee Camille, even though he broke up with her last year so he could be with Chantelle.

Chantelle Houghton yesterday revealed to The News Of The World, that shortly before entering the Big Brother house she went through a very dark period, during which she even contemplated suicide.

“It was the worst year of my life. Everything I’d wanted was slipping away from me, and I thought more and more about ending it all,” she told the News of the World. “I felt like a failure and I didn’t have the strength to carry on.”

She added: “I’ve spent the past 10 months living my dream. I’ve had my own TV show, been featured in countless magazines and, most important of all, found true love and happiness.

“The day before I went into the Big Brother house, I had 8p in my bank account, debts, and no job. Days after winning the show I put my bank card in a cashpoint to get a statement. The piece of paper popped out and it read £25,000.8p.

“I looked at it in disbelief. Even though I had won the money on CBB, it felt as though the only bit that was really mine was the 8p.”

Celebrity Big Brother’s Chantelle Houghton says her relationship with fiancé Preston stays lively even when their busy schedules keep them apart because they take the time to send each other romantic, and downright dirty, text messages.

“We say all sorts of things to each other in texts,â€? she’s admitted – but apparently it’s nothing compared to when they do actually get together.

“The sister of Ordinary Boys singer Preston has refused to be a bridesmaid at his wedding to Celebrity Big Brother winner.

According to Star, Preston’s sister Louie is adamant she will not be involved with the affair she has remained close to Preston’s ex-fiancée Camille Aznar whom he dumped for blonde Chantelle.

Louie is worried that even attending the wedding may be seen as yet another betrayal in Camille’s eyes…and who can blame her?

A source said: “She knows Camille would never forgive her if she was bridesmaid for the girl who stole Preston away.�

But will her brother forgive her if she misses his OK! endorsed wedding?”

Speculation is continuing over whether newly engaged Chantelle Houghton and Ordinary Boys singer Preston are expecting their first baby.

Not only was Chantelle spotted with what could have been the beginning of a baby bump, but this week she was also seen on the hunt for baby clothes.

A shopper in Brighton, East Sussex, said: “She seemed interested in the little pink outfits.

“I saw them later on in the adult nightwear section. Chantelle was looking at a pair of Winnie The Pooh pyjamas.”

The Jordan lookalike and wannabe Jodie Marsh has turned on Chantelle, supposedly her best friend in the Big Brother house.

Jodie remarked recently to Star magazine: “I’m disappointed that she’s become so self-absorbed.

“You need a brain, talent, personality and to be interesting to survive in this industry.”

Jodie is also hoping that Chantelle will be a flash in the pan celebrity, whose fame will fizzle out very shortly.

She commented

“I don’t know how long she’ll be around. It’s a shame she turned out to be just as cold and selfish as the rest of them.”

To top it all, Jodie doubts whether Chantelles relationship with Preston is real as *Shock and Surprise* she thinks he really fancies her!

She said of the Ordinary Boy: “He even told me he would snog me if we were both still in the house for the last week.”

Documents recently leaked to The Sun have revealed that producers of the Celebrity Big Brother show branded Chantelle a “self-centred thick blonde bimbo� after she auditioned for the show.

Chantelle Houghton who went on to win the show was also described as someone who has “the potential to be a complete bitch� in her appraisal.

One BB boss wrote she was “obsessed with her looks and cannot live without make-up�.

They added: “Wants to be strong and independent but probably isn’t.�

It looks like Chantelle has had the last laugh though. She not only won the show but has pocketed at least £500,000 since the show ended. Not bad for a bimbo!

During the Celebrity Big Brother Show, many people nicknamed Chantelle Houghton, Chantelle Travelodge (due to the fact that before entering the house she was a Paris Hilton lookalike). This caused the Travelodge chain to promise that if Chantelle won the show they would name her local travelodge hotel after her.

It would appear however that Travelodge have now backtracked on their promise and are no longer willing to change the name of their Wickford branch to Chantelle Travelodge.

A spokesman for the UK hotel company said: “We have had a long discussion and this is not something we are going to pursue any longer.”

If I was Chantelle I would stick at this celebrity business until I had enough dosh to buy the whole Travelodge chain and then name every branch ‘Chantelle Travelodge’ ….. that would show them!

She may be head over heels in love with Preston, but celebrity big brother winner Chantelle Houghton has not softened towards fellow housemate Dennis Rodman.

Nuts magazine questioned her about her old Celebrity Big Brother housemates: “If Dennis and Pete [Burns] were the last two men left on earth, who would you choose?�

Chantelle wasn’t exactly subtle in her reply: “There’s no way I would’ve gone anywhere near Dennis Rodman. Never in a million years.

“I’d kill myself first and they’d have to get it on with each other.�
