The Daily Mirror has reported that Celebrity Big Brother stars Chantelle and Preston are getting married today!

The newspaper reported:

The happy couple will exchange vows in front of 45 guests at an intimate ceremony at upmarket Dartmouth House in London’s Mayfair

The nuptials will be a lavish affair – the bride’s ivory gown has been designed by Elizabeth Emanuel, who crafted Princess Diana’s wedding dress in 1981.

And afterwards there’s an exotic beach holiday to look forward to.

But the big question on everyone’s lips is: why such a scramble to get down the aisle?

Preston, who fronts indie band the Ordinary Boys insists that marrying Chantelle so soon after meeting “just felt right”.

But their friends are concerned over their haste, and point to the differences between them as ruining the chance of it lasting.

“There’s no doubt they’re devoted to each other – anyone in their company sees them kissing, touching and texting,” says a mutual friend.

“I’m not saying they’re not in love – no one’s cynical about that. The cynicism comes into why they’ve decided to get married so quickly. Some of us think they’re doing it to capitalise on their fame.”

Surely not!

Winner of Celebrity Big brother, Chantelle Houghton, is to join the cast of a new Carry On movie and is tipped to be the next Barbara Windsor.

The cast of the film was announced today as part of the Cannes Film Festival and the film-makers promise the usual Carry On ingredients of “saucy humour”, “riotous slapstick” and “double entendres” in the “politically incorrect” movie.

Joining Chantelle will be Shane Richie, Vinnie Jones and Victoria Silvstedt in Carry On London.

Richie said: “Like many people, I grew up with the Carry On movies and was thrilled to be asked to star in the new film.”

Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has just signed a deal worth £300,000 to write the story of her life (to date!). I expect it will only be a few chapters long, since she is only 22 years of age.

“Four publishers fought to win the rights to the story of the Essex girl set to wed BB housemate, pop star Preston.

The deal is believed to have raised Chantelle’s earnings since the show in January to £1million.”

Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has revealed that she would love to land a role in the nations favourite soap Coronation Street.

Chantelle said: “I am a massive Coronation Street fan. I love it because it’s so funny.

My favourite character is Cilla because she makes me crack up.”

She added: “If I was offered a walk-on part I‘d definitely take it.”

Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has revealed that she is desperate to start a family with her fiance, Ordinary Boys singer Preston.

Chantelle told OK! magazine: “Babies are something I would’ve definitely said no to six months ago, but my mind has been changed so it’s yes now!

“Ours will probably come out with blonde hair extensions and covered in tattoos!”

“There was a photo of me looking a bit pregnant (in a magazine recently) but I’m so not. I’d probably just eaten a big lunch!

“Even my mum called me up going: ‘You’re not are you?’ so I had to convince her I wasn’t, but we laugh about it now. But I’ve read it so many times that I’m beginning to believe it myself!”

But the new celebrity hasn’t forgotten her roots and insists that she only wants friends at her wedding that she has known for at least five years.

She added: “I just want people there who I’ve spoken to in the last five years at least and who are a big part of my life. I absolutely hate weddings where you have to ask people what they’ve been up to – I should already know!

“Since Big Brother I’ve had people saying they’re my best mates, but I think why haven’t they said that to me instead of telling a magazine?”

Celebrity Big Brother contestants Chantelle Houghton, and Samuel Preston have recently confirmed the rumours that have been forming since they left the Big Brother house, and finally announced their engagement.

Chantelle announced the engagement at the New Woman Beauty Awards at London’s Dorchester Hotel. Telling the crowd how Preston had proposed using a diamond engagement ring that had belonged to his mother.

“It was as much unexpected for me as it was for him,” she said. “He asked for his mum to send the ring over and he asked me.

“I just want to marry him. I’ve had a really long day today but I don’t feel tired and I’m just dying to get home to see him.”

She said she had already told friends and family: “I rang my mum and everyone and we went to get a bottle of champagne and we celebrated.”

The couple plan to marry later this year.

“Preston and Chantelle are reportedly going to get married at a swanky golf club.

The couple who met in Celebrity Big Brother will apparently spend £3,000 on the ceremony at Stock Brook Country Club.

They only managed to secure the place after a cancellation, with the venue originally fully booked all year.

According to The Sun a source said: “Chantelle wanted class and was thrilled when the booking became available. She is getting used to the finer things in life and this place delivers.” ”

How could you doubt their sincerity? Pictures like this just prove that they are really in love don’t they?

Jordan is worried that Celebrity Big Brother contestants Preston and Chantelle are trying to steal her her and Peter Andre’s spot as favourite reality TV couple.

Katie Price, slated Chantelle and her fiancé Preston by saying she is “sick to death of reading that they’re getting married…It’s boring now.”

When speaking with Heat magazine Jordan said “There’s no couple like Pete and me.

“If anyone else is trying to be like us, they should stop now.”

“I liked her in the Big Brother house, but get a job now. Let’s see if you can do something.”

Celebrity Big Brother certainly has done Preston and Chantelle career the world of good. Preston managed to make his band ‘The Ordinary Boys’ a household name with top 10 hits, Chantelle has presented two shows for E4, and their romance has dominated headlines in magazines and newspapers for weeks!

Now it appears that the hype will be taken one step further and a movie is set to be by production company ‘Working Title’ made based on their story.

An insider ‘told’ the Daily Star: “The idea Working Title want to run with is a storyline based on two people falling for one another on a reality TV show.

“It would then trail the twists and turns of the couple throughout their lives.

“In the film script, it is Chantelle’s career which eventually overtakes Preston’s and people will see how the couple will cope with that. And it will be a very bumpy road.

“At the moment Chantelle’s character is based on her characteristics and looks but the female lead will be given a different name.�

Ant and Dec have spoken out against the new breed of reality TV stars and Chantelle Houghton in particular in an interview with Britain’s Arena magazine.

The pair think that Chantelle’s desire to be famous has now gone much too far.

Dec stated: “Chantelle is like a trick played on celebrities that has got out of hand.

“I’m not sure that would happen in any other country.”

He added: “Celebrity used to be a by product of your day job, but now it’s just a day job to be a celebrity. That never used to exist before.

“I wonder how many kids now do want to be firemen and policemen and nurses and stuff, and how many kids just want to be famous.

“It’s a sad kind of reflection.”

But the pair – who have presented reality TV shows ‘Pop Idol’ and ‘I’m a Celebrity

… Get Me Out of Here’ – insist they are not threatened by this new breed of stars.

Ant said: “It’s no challenge to what I do.

“If they’re in the paper more than me, then that’s good. It’s very curious though, it’ll be interesting to see what happens.’

We reported last week that Celebrity Big Brother Winner Chantelle Houghton is about to launch her own brand new dating show.

We now have more details on the show and thought it would only be fair to share them with you all.

The new show ‘Chantelle’s Dream Dates’ kicks off on E4 on April the 12th. It will show Chantelle choosing the desperate girls, giving them a makeover and then fixing them up with the man of their dreams…well thats the idea anyway.

ITV have confirmed that the winner of this years Celebrity Big brother, >Chantelle Houghton is to present her own dating show.

According to ITV.com, the 22-year-old reality television star said: “My new show is about a girl who can’t get a date.”

“I go out, literally on the streets of London, to find three guys who potentially look like the type of guy she goes for.

“I give her a Chantelle-sort of do, and she goes out on a date with a guy, and hopefully they click,” she said.

Speaking about her upcoming show, the television star also said “Everybody loves to matchmake, so hopefully I’ll be the new Cilla Black!”
