Charlotte Church is reportedly in talks about joining the judging panel of ‘The Voice’.
The show will launch on BBC One in January, and it is reported that the 25 year old singer is keen to join the lineup, thinking herself to be the next Christina Aguilera, who judges on the US version.
Bosses are also said to be keen to land Cheryl Cole, who has been embroiled in a much publicised spat with the mum of two, as they believe it would make explosive TV viewing.
Charlotte Church may have split from Gavin Henson over a year ago, but the singing star obviously still has feelings for her ex, as insiders say she broke down in tears when she heard about his new TV show.
The former opera singer shares two children with the rugby ace and is currently dating new boyfriend Jonathan Powell, however the thought of Gavin living in a Spanish villa with 25 attractive ladies, while filming Channel 5′s The Bachelor does not amuse her one bit!
Charlotte Church has reportedly called time on her current recording contract.
The TV presenter and former classical singer had signed with Power Amp Music last March, however insiders say that she has since clashed with bosses and producers over the direction of her new album and the fact that they weren’t keen for her to embark on an American tour.
The Mail On Sunday reported that Charlotte and label bosses also disagreed over how to spend money set aside for her career and added that the star will now reimburse the label for not providing an album.
Charlotte Church has hit out at the X Factor and it’s boss Simon Cowell, saying the show is ‘killing music.’
The Over The Rainbow judge made the comments during an interview with Esquire magazine and went on to blast the panel, saying none of them are good enough to judge on the show.

The Over The Rainbow panellist said that she is much more of a vocal expert than many of last year’s stand in judges – including Pixie Lott, Geri Halliwell, Nicole Scherzinger and Katy Perry – because she knows more about the technicalities of singing than the 51-year-old music mogul himself.
She said: “I’d make a better judge than the others on that show because I know more about the technical side of singing than even Simon Cowell.
Charlotte Church has revealed that she will be supporting Gavin Henson on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing series.
The pair split earlier this year, just weeks after becoming engaged. Charlotte warned that the rugby star’s dance moves are ‘not the best’ but added that she and their children Ruby and Dexter would be watching and cheering him on for as long as he stays on the show.

The Welsh singer dropped to a svelte size eight for the show launch two months ago, but is now said to have dropped further to a size six, forcing the wardrobe department to take in some of her dresses.
A source told The Sun: “Charlotte has had a very public yo-yo battle with her weight. She was delighted when everyone was raving about how she looked when she returned to work.
After giving the girls a master class earlier in the week, Charlotte Church took to the Over The Rainbow stage with the Dorothys for a show stopping performance of Enough is Enough (No More Tears.)
