Chico Slimani got a bit of a shock at the Dancing On Ice studios last night, when he was set upon by a mob of one Direction fans.
The singer should be used to screaming fans, after all he did also shoot to fame on ITV talent show The X Factor, however insiders say he was a bit freaked when he was chased down by fans of the handsome young boyband, who were performing on the show last night.

Chico Slimani struggled to maintain the fluidity of his routine before taking to the rink on tonight’s dancing On Ice.
The former X Factor star really put his all into rehearsals before the live show, determined to get it right and impress judge Louie Spence this evening. Thankfully for him it was all alright on the night.

Chico Slimani and Sam Nixon found themselves going head to head on tonight’s Dancing On Ice show.
The men and their partners shared the ice and the music, as part of their duel on the rink and at the end of the routines, the judges were asked to choose which pair they preferred and grant the chosen couple immunity from elimination in the following results show.

Chico Slimani has offered some sage words of advice to hopeful X Factor contestants.
The Dancing On Ice contestant shot to fame when he took part in the ITV singing show back in 2005. Six years ago he finished in fifth place, but was remembered because of his cheesy smile and constantly upbeat attitude and speaking to The Sun, he claimed that people trying out for the show in more recent years have been taking it all too seriously.

Chico Slimani looked every bit like Tom Cruise when he took to the rink for tonight’s Dancing On Ice.
For the movie themed episode, the hunky singer skated to ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’ from the hit film ‘Top Gun’ and he confessed that he was going for the ‘cool factor’ with his routine.

Chico Slimani was a last minute entrant to Dancing On Ice this year and tonight, made his big debut on the ITV show.
The former X Factor contestant landed a place in the lineup after Chesney Hawkes was injured and forced out of the competition, and it was only a fortnight ago that he was told he would be skating with the stunning professional Jodeyne Higgins for the series.

Chico has admitted that ITV bosses have banned him from wearing his prayer beads on the ice tomorrow night.
The former X Factor star replaced Chesney Hawkes as a contestant on Dancing On Ice and will make his debut on the rink on Sunday. However, as elated as he is about being given the opportunity to reinvigorate his career, Chico confessed that he is also disappointed that he won’t be able to have his beads on his person during the routine.

Chico Slimani has reportedly signed up for the 2010 series of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
The Spanish singer reached the quarter finals in the 2005 series of X Factor and subsequently released a single named ‘It’s Chico Time.’ In 2008, he appeared on the reality TV show CelebAir and in 2010, he released a remake of his debut single retitled “It’s England Time” in support of the England team to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Chico Slimani has claimed that Simon Cowell forced Louis Walsh to put John and Edward Grimes through to the live finals, because he knew what a media circus would erupt around them.
The former X Factor contestant told the hosts of Live From Studio Five: “I’ve been watching it and I have to say, when they came on, I thought, ‘They can’t possibly let them through’. Now Simon is many things, stupid he isn’t. He’s rung up, going, ‘Louis, you’re putting those kids through’. Why? The thing is, who are we talking about now?

It seems like Chico Slimani isn’t going down to well with the rest of the Celebair team.
Apparently his chants of “It’s Chico time!”, “It’s meal time!” and “It’s disembarking time!”, are starting to grate heavily on the nerves of his fellow airline staff.
