As we reported earlier, yesterday Day 9, saw the housemates almost deliriously happy to hear they’d passed this week’s shopping task and have therefore earned a luxury shopping budget.
I cannot wait to see how they tackle the shopping list. I’m fully expecting flying fur, tears, tantrums and anger, and that’s just Chris. We’ve yet to see how everyone else will cope with the arduous task of spending their dosh.
However, yesterday we also reported that Scott Mason had received the sad news that a loved one had died. Scott left the BB compound for around 90 minutes when he was told the news, but he chose to then return.
It remains to be seen if he’ll ask Big Brother if he can attend the funeral of whoever passed away, but we will of course keep you posted on that… Read more & comment »

The No Laughing task is proving a tough one, given that not only has Big Brother been sending in purveyors of comedy to tickle the housemates’ funny bones, but some of them are amusing each other as well…
However, they are trying out various tactics to prevent laughing, such as pulling out their tongues or squeezing their eyes shut and sucking in their cheeks. And as you can see from the above picture of Conor, these are not good looks…
In fact, I may put that pic of Conor on the mantelpiece to keep the kids away from the fire.
But there have been numerous fails already, however, we don’t know how many fails they’re allowed, and we won’t know until BB reveals the number that’s inside the envelope which is around the creepy sailor’s neck.
It’s not all been fun and games though, and yesterday, house tension rose a good few notches as Arron had a go at Deana for drinking alcohol, telling her that she always giggles uncontrollably when she’s had a few and could therefore fail the task for them… Read more & comment »

Ever since Chris James went into the Big Brother house, it’s been bugging me as to who he reminds me of…
But during last night’s highlights show on Channel 5, I had a eureka moment. He reminds me of Gavin & Stacey’s Smithy!
Smithy was of course played by James Corden – see, they even have a name in common! Coincidence? I think not – and even though it has to be said that Chris isn’t as funny as Smithy, much of his demeanour and persona is spookily similar to Smithy’s, including his evident love of KFC.
But equally, we have to take into account physicality, and Chris’s abs, if that is in fact what they are, are reminiscent of the Ninja Turtles, so one can’t help wondering if there’s been some kind of cloning experiment there between Smithy and one of the turtles. To wit…
Hard to argue with hard evidence isn’t it? Who knows what they get up to at Porton Down. Maybe they’re trying to perfect a cyborg of the future, sent to eat all the pies and hence, starve an opposing army to death? You just never know… Read more & comment »

Arron Lowe is on a downer!
The mixed martial arts fighter initially tried to put on a brave face when he was nominated for eviction yesterday, a result which he predicted before the nominations process even began, however within hours he was starting to crash and burn.
The handsome model is up against chubby doorman Chris James for the public vote this week and one of the men will be evicted on Friday’s live show. Last night Lowe became convinced that he would be the one leaving the BB house.

Yesterday was of course the first time that the Big Brother housemates have experienced a proper nominations day, and the mood in the house could be summed up in three words – stress, angst, and paranoia.
However, one housemate spent the whole day determinedly and doggedly ignoring the tension, and announcing to anyone that would listen, “I don’t give a f**k mate.”
That housemate was Arron Lowe, who, in a fit of irony, of course ended up facing eviction this week alongside his co-conspirator – albeit not in a voluntary capacity, since he had the offending banger forced upon him – in Sausagegate, Chris James.
When BB first announced the results of this week’s nomination, Chris made no attempt to hide his upset and visibly slumped in his seat, immediately prompting words of encouragement and murmurings of support from those in his vicinity… Read more & comment »

The results of today’s nominations are in, and up for eviction this week are Chris James and Arron Lowe!
Does this come as a shock to you? Or were you expecting they’d be up?
I was hoping Lydia would be up, and honestly, I’m very surprised she’s not! However, I did also expect that Chris and Arron would be nominated, as per my earlier nominations predictions…
It looks like Arron’s sausage giving, and Chris’s sausage eating – and possibly his drunken anger - has cost them both, and of course, for one of them, the price they’re going to pay is losing their place in the house!

The Big Brother housemates were full of fun last night, as they joked about in the bedroom and played pranks on one another, but to be honest we found it hard to concentrate on the video below, because we were so amazed by Chris James’ belly.
The chubby doorman is packing quite the paunch, which it seems he isn’t afraid to show off, despite the amount of buff and toned men who share a bedroom with him and despite the fact that he has the weirdest torso we have seen, since Darren Lyons graced the residence.

New housemate Becky is waking up to her first day in the Big Brother house and Chris is waking up with a hangover after last night’s excesses.
Chris is keen to clear the air with his fellow housemates: Jekyll and Hyde came out last night didn’t it …when I’m drunk, and I don’t like blaming it on drink, I don’t think it controls me, but it does…I ended up having an argument with Luke (S), Luke is one of the nicest blokes I’ve ever met …I don’t want people to change their perception of me over one thing …you’ve seen a hundred good things and two bad things and I don’t want the two bad things to overtake the good things.

As we reported just now – seriously, the virtual ink is barely dry – Lydia, Deana, Lauren and Adam have formed what they’re choosing to think of as an alliance, and I’m choosing to think of – and say outright – as a coven…
And now, Chris is almost – but apparently, not quite – a part of it, given that he, like Adam before him, wandered into the coven’s nest, albeit unwittingly.
But once you’re in, you’re in for life.
That nest, or lair, call it what you will, is poolside, and it’s where the coven members are hanging out, cunningly disguising their true agenda, which is who to nominate tomorrow, by wearing shades and talking about cosmetics.
And of course, as mentioned in my last article, the coven believe that Arron and Luke S stumbled upon a nominations loophole, namely that housemates are permitted to discuss who they want to put up for the chop… Read more & comment »

Day 5 in the BB house began promisingly enough, with the housemates toasting new beginnings and an end to the negativity that many – particularly Arron – felt that Victoria Eisermann had brought to the house during the first three days.
However, Arron was soon at that centre of a sh**storm when he – illegally apparently – cooked a jacket potato for himself without taking a democratic house vote on whether he was allowed to or not. Tuts loudly.
But there’d already been tension building in the kitchen when, having all agreed to eat nothing but sausages all day – given there was a glut of them – the bangers were cooked and divided up, ensuring everyone got the same amount.
However, Arron sneaked a spare one and gave it to Chris, who promptly ran into the bathroom with his contraband and didn’t even chew before swallowing… Read more & comment »
