It’s been confirmed that former The Voice USA Coach, Christina Aguilera, will make her comeback to the show when it returns for the new series next year.
The singer took a break from the show last year after three consecutive seasons as a coach on the hit US show so that she could focus on her latest studio album.
Christina Aguilera is not one to mince her words and she certainly didn’t hold back when speaking about Simon Cowell this week.
The ‘Dirty’ hitmaker is a coach on The Voice in America, which goes head to head with the music mogul’s X Factor USA on a weekly basis and it seems she doesn’t think much of the competition.
The buxom blonde blasted the TV boss, calling him a d*** and insisted that she has a totally different judging style to him.
Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears may have been sworn rivals for the longest time, however The Voice star has taken the high road and praised her former Mickey Mouse Club co-star in a new interview.
The ladies both launched their pop career at around the same time over a decade ago and now they both judge on rival reality TV shows.
However, in a chat on TV show “Extra” Christina was very complimentary about Spears, who is sitting on the X Factor panel this year alongside Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid.
As fans of The Voice US will know, there have been rumours circulating that coaches Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera aren’t overly fond of each, and various media outlets have stated that during filming for the show’s second season, Maroon 5 front man Adam and Christina bitched constantly.
However, while speaking to MTV News, Adam – who performed with his band on The Voice UK last month – claims that the rumours are “BS.”
He said, “We bickered a little bit in the beginning, to be totally truthful, we had a little bit of a rough start, just kind of all getting to know each other.”

Jessie J may be gracing UK TV screens every Saturday night on The Voice UK, but last night, on US TV network NBC the British singer made her performance debut on the US version of the hit talent show.
Jessie sang her latest single ‘Domino’ and was accompanied by the remaining members of Team Christina – Jesse Campbell, Lindsey Pavao, Ashley De La Rosa and Chris Mann.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news today, while Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of alternative programming for NBC, told the site, “Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of The Voice this year…
