It’s been revealed today that presenter Claudia Winkleman is the early favourite with Ladbrokes to replace Sir Bruce Forsyth – who as we reported earlier has warned that he won’t be around forever – on Strictly Come Dancing.

Though of course Strictly Come Dancing presenter Sir Bruce Forsyth hasn’t yet retired, it seems the show’s judges are “at loggerheads” over who should replace the veteran entertainer when he does.

Sir Bruce Forsyth won’t be on hand to front the third live show of the 2013 Strictly Come Dancing series it has been revealed this afternoon.
The 85 year old star has been hosting the show with Tess Daly ever since the show’s inception but won’t be on set tomorrow evening, as he’s fallen ill with the flu.

When Strictly Come Dancing and spin-off show It Takes Two presenter was offered the chance to host a new BBC2 show entitled The Great British Sewing Bee, she jumped at the chance, saying, “I think it’s exciting to see people making something from nothing.”
And while her remark may make viewers wonder if she’s tailoring the Emperor’s new clothes, what she’ll in fact be doing is promoting a make-do-and-mend culture, which is of course apposite given the fact we’re in what feels like a never ending recession.

Two weekends ago the entire nation was shocked, and slightly concerned at the absence of Sir Bruce Forsyth on Strictly Come Dancing.
Sir Bruce, who has co-hosted the show since its launch back in 2004, had announced at the beginning of the series that he would be taking the weekend before Wembley off, many thought to rest after Children In Need that same week, but still the show wasn’t quite the same.

Whist many of us were shocked and slightly saddened to see a lack of Bruce Forsyth during last weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing entertainment, it would seem the absence of the legendary host didn’t do the ratings any harm whatsoever!
Sir Bruce Forsyth announced back in September that he would be taking the week before Wembley off from the hit BBC dancing talent show, leaving co-host Tess Daly to fill his legendary dancing shoes as show host.

It’s been confirmed today that Zoe Ball will take the helm permanently on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show, It Takes Two.
Zoe, who originally took over presenting the show as a replacement for Claudia Winkleman when she went on maternity leave, is said to be “ecstatic” at landing the job full time.
It Takes Two returns to BBC2 in September, however, Claudia will be back to present the results show on Sunday evenings on BBC1.

Claudia Winkleman, former host of Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two, and current host of King Of… has named her newborn son Arthur.
Speaking to The Sun, excited new mum Claudia said, “We have a beautiful baby boy. He has twinkly eyes and extraordinary eyebrows.
“His name is Arthur. I think I will be calling him Art or Pumpkin. Or Rabbit.”
Claudia, who gave birth last Wednesday, already has two children; son Jake, eight, and daughter Matilda, five. Read more & comment »
Claudia Winkleman, host of ‘King Of…’ has given birth to a baby boy.
Claudia, who already has two children, Jake, eight, and five-year-old Matilda, with husband Kris Thykier, is said to be “overjoyed” with the arrival of her new son.
Claudia and Kris welcomed their new son last night, but as yet, the baby’s name hasn’t been revealed.
Claudia, who quit her role on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ spin-off show ‘It Takes Two’ because she would be too busy with the new baby, announced her pregnancy in March.
A source close to the couple revealed, “Kris and Claudia were ecstatic when they discovered there would be a new addition to the family.
