Last year Coleen McLoughlin was set a challenge of a life time in ITV2’s hit series Coleen’s Real Women. Her mission was to find naturally beautiful women to be the face of eight brands.

Coleen won some and lost some but this summer she’s more determined that ever in her quest to find for real women to win 10 new high profile modelling assignments. They are genuine jobs but with one major difference – all the women Coleen puts forward for the castings are amateurs. No professionals allowed!

Coleen and her team of talent scouts will be scouring the UK for natural beauties to get onto our screens, into the ads and in our magazines. This time she’s tackling a whole range of new and exciting areas!

Coleen is looking for a variety of ladies who may not have conventional model looks but project inner beauty and individuality and present a true representation of women today.

We recently reported that Britain’s most famous WAG, Coleen McLouhglin, was being dropped as the face of Asda. Now it seems as though the supermarket chain may have found her replacement.

The Sun has today reported that Joseph star, Lee Mead, has been approached by Adsa bosses about a major advertising deal.

‘We love the Technicolor dreamboat and his other half. They are very stylish,’ a spokesman for Asda told The Sun.

Being dropped as the face of Asda obviously didn’t upset WAG and TV star, Coleen McLoughlin, for long, as she jetted off to Miami Beach in Florida for her hen night.

The gorgeous WAG got chatted up no less that three times during the night according to The Mirror, however Wayne can rest assured that his wife to be got up to no hanky panky in his absence.

A source told The Mirror:

“Coleen was the life of the party. Several men made a beeline for her but she sent them all on their way, humouring or ignoring them.”

Coleen revealed in her recent autobiography that she usually refuses to get her picture taken or sign autographs for male fans. She told an awful story of how a man tried to force her to kiss him whilst shopping one day so he could get his picture in the paper.

Coleen McLoughlin will be keeping her own maiden name after she marries footballer fiance, Wayne Rooney according to Hello magazine.

“McLoughlin is the name by which she is known and she sees no reason to change it,” a source told the magazine.

“She is proud to be a McLoughlin and she is proud of what she has achieved under the name.”

ITV have recently confirmed that they have commissioned a second series of Colleen’s Tv show, Colleen’s Real Women.

ITV2 today announces that ratings success Coleen’s Real Women has been re-commissioned for a second series, produced by Endemol-owned Initial.

The programme, series one of which can currently be seen on Thursdays at 9pm, sees Coleen McLoughlin set the challenge of a lifetime…to find naturally beautiful women to be the face of 8 major brands.

Coleen travels around Britain in search of real women to win high profile modelling assignments. They are genuine jobs but with one major difference – all the women Coleen puts forward for the castings are amateurs, all professional models will be barred!

Of the four episodes which have been transmitted, Coleen has successfully found a real woman for three of the brands: hosiery firm Pretty Polly, make-up giants Avon and lingerie company Ultimo.

Coleen has this to say about the re-commission: “I’m thrilled that ITV has commissioned a second series of Coleen’s Real Women. I loved making the first series and have been made up about all he successes enjoyed so far by the girls taking part – with hopefully more to come. It’s great that the viewers are enjoying it too. Hopefully the new series will be just as successful in giving opportunities to Real Women.”

To help her find these girls, Coleen enlists fashion industry expert Camilla Johnson-Hill to help her match the right girl to the right campaign.

So long as their look and personality fits the brief and the girls take a great picture they could be in the running to become the face of a major brand.

Once a shortlist has been pulled together, Coleen and her expert team will give the potentials a make-over, taking them from their everyday girl-on-the-street image into top models.

Each of the finalists will build up a portfolio under Coleen and Camilla’s watchful eye and then they will go off for their final casting at the brand HQ, where they face their competition for the first time, a roomful of experienced, professional industry models.

The clients reach a decision and announce who will front their campaign.

Episode two sees Coleen making a bid to find a real woman to be the cover star of cosmetics company, Avon.

The three real women hoping to win the campaign in this episode are Megan Pugh, 18, Laura Stuart-Cook, 21 and Siobhan Platt, 19.

Episode one sees Coleen making a bid to find a real woman to be the new legs of Pretty Polly tights. The three real women hoping to win the campaign in this epsiode are Sasha Parker, 23, Charlotte McCabe, 19 and Sadie Kharbanda, 26.

Explaining her reasons for taking in the show, Coleen says: “I am an ordinary girl. I haven’t got the figure of the typical models on the catwalk. People always come up to me and say, ‘Oh, you’re just like one of us.’ There are things that I dislike about my body.

“There’s no reason that other women can’t have the same opportunities that I’ve had. If I can get one of these companies to use a girl that isn’t a typical model then I’ve achieved what I’ve set out to do.”
