Holly Willoughby is unwell and unable to present Dancing On Ice this evening.

The buxom star has been suffering from debilitating migraine headaches and Phillip Schofield took to Twitter today to reveal that he will co-host the show with former contestant Coleen Nolan tonight.

The silver fox tweeted:

So! @hollywills is suffering from migraines and has been advised by her doctor to rest. Coleen will present DOI with me tonight.

Coleen came fourth in the 2009 series of the ITV1 show and currently works on This Morning, presenting from The Hub and conveying viewers opinions on the topics of the day.

Holly Willoughby is currently pregnant with her second child and due to give birth later this spring. Migraines are a frequent pregnancy ailment and are thought to be caused by the raised levels of certain hormones in the female body.

Former Dancing On Ice contestant Coleen Nolan has blasted TV bosses for giving all the good jobs to skinny women.

The TV presenter stands at 5ft 7, weighs about 12st and is a size 16 and in an interview with Closer she said:

“Tell me why there are no women over a size 12 on prime-time telly.”

“I’m sick of feeling I should disappear from TV because I’m not a size 8.”

“There’s too much pressure on female presenters to look a certain way.”

Coleen, 45, who champions women’s issues in her role as a panellist on Loose Women, admits she’s kept a low profile for the last six months because her weight gain had really dented her confidence.

“If you look at the picture of me at the National TV Awards only last month, you’ll see I’m dressed head to toe in black,” she admitted.

“I know how to dress so I don’t get noticed. But that’s changed now. I’m sick of hiding away. My husband Ray said recently: ‘So you’ve put on a bit of weight. You still look beautiful and you’ll always be beautiful to me.’ It was as if a cloud had lifted. I’m sick of being ruled by the size of my boobs and bum – I decided I’m going to be bigger and proud – I still feel sexy!”

Her acceptance of her fuller figure comes after two decades of Coleen’s weight yo-yoing. She’s been a size 10 at her slimmest and a 20 at her heaviest. She said:

“I’ve learned a lot about how to eat and exercise over the years. I know, for example, that counting calories is pretty pointless. It’s the fat content you need to keep an eye on as fat’s much harder to shift.”

Coleen says she’s put on around 2st in the last year.

“It’s partly because I was writing a book, I also did my back in so couldn’t exercise. I’m an emotional eater – I eat when I’m happy, I eat when I’m sad!” she confessed.

“I remember when I split up with Shane in 1997, people said: ‘At least you’ll lose about 3st because you’re miserable.’ But I just ate more cake! But I’m glad I lost weight when I did. I wouldn’t have enjoyed my wedding if I’d been a size 20 – or Dancing On Ice, for that matter.”

In fact, Coleen believes her career would have been rather different if it hadn’t been for the ups and downs of her weight loss. She says: “I’m not daft. I know my phone started to ring and work offers increased the thinner I got. But I think that’s unfair. I was offered my first-ever prime time show presenting Dancing On Ice Friday in 2009, when I was a size 10. But now I’m really fighting the idea that you have to be a size 8 to be on TV. I recently went to a meeting with a TV exec who suggested I might want to have a gastric band. How outrageous is that?! I’m no better or worse at my job when I’m a size 16 than I am at a 10.”

She says: “If I’m to be a poster girl for normal sized women, then so be it. Surely it’s good for women to see someone they can relate to – the average sized woman in the UK is a size 14-16 after all.”

Coleen Nolan has revealed that she and all her siblings will help their sister Bernie in her battle with breast cancer.

Bernie revealed yesterday that she has become the third Nolan sister to be diagnosed with the disease and admitted that as it has already spread to her lymph nodes, she will need both chemotherapy and a mastectomy if she hopes to survive.

Dancing On Ice star Coleen Nolan told The Mirror that Bernie will have all the family support she needs during her treatment. She said: “She’s so strong, she’s really holding it all together. Obviously she’s had her moments but she’s strong and we all have to be strong for her. We’ve all been rallying round to help her.

“Once her treatment starts if she’s not feeling well, one or two of us will be there to help with her daughter Erin and her husband Steve.”

Coleen Nolan has admitted that she can’t choose between Stephanie Beacham and Vinnie Jones when shetries to predict who will win this year’s Celebrity Big Brother.

In her column for Woman magazine, the Loose Woman wrote:

“Vinnie Jones is my favourite to win at the moment because he’s so popular and normal, and could teach the other celebs a thing or two.”

“But your opinions change every day with Big Brother. Stephanie Beacham could win it, too. She’s a true diva in the nicest sense of the word – elegant and glam. I’m looking forward to hearing more of her dry sense of humour.”

Former Dancing On Ice competitor Coleen Nolan has admitted that she is grateful to ITV for offering her a job presenting it’s spinoff show, but is nervous about how the public will react to her physical appearance.

Coleen, who was once a size 20 but has recently dropped to a svelte 12 told The Daily Record:

“I appreciate that ITV have given me this opportunity. I am nervous about being judged on how I look because women are.

“When you watch The X Factor, it’s always a question of who is going to be the more beautiful or wearing the best clothes, Cheryl or Dannii. We don’t have the same conversation about the two old farts at either end of them.”

She added:

“We are in a world that is weight-obsessed and obsessed about how people should look but I don’t want my daughter to grow up with those issues.

Coleen Nolan has admitted that she is ‘excited’ and ‘can’t wait to start’ her new Dancing On Ice job. Coleen has been lined up to present Dancing On Ice Friday on ITV2 with Ben Shephard.

Coleen told the Daily Mirror: “I can’t wait to get started. I’ve had to keep this a secret when all I’ve wanted to do is tell everyone.

“I’m hosting it with Ben Shephard and it’s all the behind-the-scenes stuff at Dancing on Ice.

“I can’t wait to grill the judges – especially Jason Gardiner.”

Nolan, who previously competed on the show, also admitted that there is a lot less pressure this year because she won’t have to dress in lycra every weekend.

She said: “Not having to dress in a skintight leotard makes it a little less terrifying this year.

“Even though I was slimmer than I’d ever been when I was dancing on the show, all the other girls were a lot younger and a hell of a lot slimmer than me.

“But it was good for me because it helped me realise people don’t just judge you on your weight and the public kept me in for weeks, even though I wasn’t a skinny size six.”

I just love Coleen Nolan and her ability to tell it like it is. In her second public slating of Katie Price, in as many weeks, Coleen has today hit out at her decision to talk about her alleged rape but refuse to name her attacker.

Writing in The Mirror, Nolan commented: “Immediately after saying her rapist was a ‘top celebrity’ Jordan/Katie or whatever her name is these days said she didn’t want to talk about it anymore.

“Well too late, love. You should have thought about what you were and weren’t prepared to talk about before opening your big mouth.”

She continued: “If she has no intention of ever naming her attacker or going to the police there was absolutely no point in revealing he is a celebrity. I mean, is it somehow ‘better’ to have been raped by a celebrity?”

Nolan added: “Oh, and of course she has also returned the whole topic of rape back into a game of ‘Was she or wasn’t she?’ For years the police and counselling groups have worked their socks off to ensure women who make claims of rape are treated seriously.

“Now Jordan’s story has, for millons of people, turned the whole subject back into a case of ‘Women just say these things for attention’ or even worse, ‘Most of ‘em are asking for it’.”

Mirror columnist, Coleen Nolan has appealed to Katie Price and Peter Andre to stop flaunting their children on TV and beseeched us to stop watching their shows.

Writing in the newspaper today, Nolan said:

And the best supporting actors and actress awards go to… Harvey, Junior and Princess Tiaamii.

Well, those poor kids certainly deserve some kind of reward for their walk-on roles in their parents’ competing reality shows. Because they are sure as hell going to suffer enough from being catapulted to stardom in such awful circumstances at such incredibly young ages.

Last week I sat on the sofa to indulge in the latest updates in Britain’s favourite divorce drama by watching Katie and Peter’s TV shows. Except it wasn’t so much fly-on-the wall as kids-on-the-rack as the three little ones were wheeled out at parties, day trips and in their own homes to fill the air time.

The ex-couple are taking it in turns to drag their kids on a whistlestop tour of “fun, fun, fun” to show that they are the most attentive parent. (Obviously if a photographer captures that moment of domestic bliss then their case is proved.)

Nolan added:

I dread to think what the long-term effect of such public exposure will be on them. So come on, Jordan and Peter – it is time to give the kids a break and turn off the cameras. And for all of us – me included – it’s time to turn the telly off.

I wonder if a damning article on the evils of ITV2 is to follow? I always did love Coleen Nolan, maybe if more stars turned on the Andre/Price teams this whole debacle would end a little sooner.

Loose Woman, Coleen Nolan has admitted that writing her recent autobiography made her feel “angry”.

Coleen Nolan: Upfront & Personal was released last month once she finished on ITV1′s Dancing On Ice.

“Writing it releases all those feelings and emotions you thought you’d buried,” Nolan told the Liverpool Daily Post. “You relive all the traumas and you do feel angry again.

“But, while it was painful at times, there was genuine joy and laughter remembering the great experiences that I’d lost by the wayside.”

She added: “I’d always said I wouldn’t write it until I was 70 and had had a life, but by then nobody would be interested. It is cathartic, a bit like having counselling, and it is strange walking down the street thinking: ‘They all know my secrets’.”

Dancing On Ice star Coleen Nolan has admitted that her sex life has gotten better as she’s got older, helped along by her recent weight loss.

Coleen who has recently signed a solo record deal told this week’s Closer magazine: ‘My sex life’s improved as I’ve got older. I’ve dropped the hang-ups I had back in my 20s.

‘Back then, even getting out of bed naked in front of a man was an issue. I feel happy I’m finally in control of my life.’

Speaking about husband her Ray Coleen added: ‘He’s the person I was meant to be with. I trust him 100 per cent and although I’m known as The Flirt of Loose Women, I’d never cheat on him.’
