Earlier today, the Daily Star reported that Wayne and Coleen Rooney were to guest star on hit ITV2 show, The Only Way Is Essex, however, it would seem that not only are the couple not intending to appear, they’ve never even watched the show!
The revelation came when Wayne recently tweeted, “Haha just seen piece in paper that me and Coleen love that essex programme. I have never watched it in my life. Or met anyone from the show.”
Metro goes on to report that Coleen added on her own Twitter account, “No it’s not the show am talking about, haven’t watched it, am just showing how the papers make up a story! Just cause we were at same event.”

Wayne and Coleen Rooney are reportedly set to make a cameo appearance in ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The Manchester United footballer and his wife – who are said to be huge fans of the show – have apparently been offered a role in the upcoming third series of the ITV2 programme.
It comes after Coleen told sisters Sam and Billie Faiers that ‘TOWIE’ is a firm favourite in the Rooney house, and that she would love to visit their fashion boutique, Minnies, in Brentwood.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “The girls were really thrilled to meet Coleen.
“She told them that she and Wayne love nothing more than cuddling up and watching them on the TV.

According to The Sun today, Coleen Rooney – host of Coleen’s Real Women – is planning on a Caesarean birth for her baby so that husband Wayne can still play for England in the World Cup qualifier and attend the birth.
The baby is due on October 10th but as that clashes with the match in Ukraine, Coleen has apparently consulted with her doctors about having the Caesarean in late September… Read more & comment »

Coleen Rooney has revealed that she has no intention of becoming a TV presenter on a full time basis.
Despite the huge success of her ITV2 TV show, Coleen’s Real Women, the WAG reveals that she doesn’t think she would be suited to general TV work.
“TV-wise I haven’t got a clue. I did try a bit of presenting on Star Traders with Phillip Schofield last Christmas, but it wasn’t my cup of tea,” Rooney told Celebs On Sunday magazine. “I didn’t really like it.”

Coleen Rooney has admitted that she was surprised and stunned when her recent autobiography ended up at the top of the UK bestsellers list.
“I think writing a book – it’s a big commitment,” she told GMTV.
“You know, you’re putting yourself on the line to get criticised and stuff, and when I first [did] it, I was just hoping that it [did] well and, you know, it got good reviews.” Read more & comment »
