Caprice and Jimmy Osmond are among the next batch of celebs due to take part in a new episode of Celebrity Come Dine With Me.

The one-hour special will show four celebs attempting to provide the best dinner party and win £1,000 for the charity of their choice.

In this one-off celebrity special edition of the competitive dining show, legendary nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow, Blue heartthrob singer Lee Ryan, pop princess and party girl Michelle Heaton and interior design guru Linda Barker battle it out to stage the perfect dinner party and win the title of best host and £1,000 prize for their favourite charity.

Celebrity Come Dine With Me, Channel 4, 8pm

Yet another UK TV show is making the transition to American TV, as TV network NBC teams with Granada America to make ‘Celebrity Come Dine With Me.’

Come Dine with Me kicked off on Channel 4 in 2005 and is now shown in 16 countries including Germany, Croatia and Hungary.

The US celebrity version will run for five episodes around Christmas time and the Celeb with the highest score will win $20,000 for the charioty of their choice. I bet that sometimes the stars wish they could just keep the prizes for themselves!

Channel 4’s popular daytime culinary extravaganza, Come Dine with Me , moves into peak-time and this week the show heads to Coventry, where four contenders each stage a dinner party to compete for the honorary title of winning host and the chance to win £1,000.

Pub landlord James feels the heat in the kitchen as he prepares his three courses under the watchful eye of the steely Marie, who’s determined to create the winning meal. ‘Mad scientist’ Vera seems to terrify, rather than entertain, her fellow diners, and Jon most definitely looks the part in his chef’s whites; it’s just a shame his cooking doesn’t live up to his appearance. Channel 4 reality TV show, Come Dine With Me has become so popular that it has been moved from its traditional afternoon show to a primetime slot on Thursday nights.

For those that haven’t caught it yet, it is basically four strangers who host dinner parties for each other. At the end of the night the guests give the host a score out of ten and the person with the highest score wins £1000.

In the clip below from next Thursdays show the chef is so intent on pleasing his guests that he hires a rather sexy young waiter to bring their drinks for the evening. The man is gorgeous, but the sight of two old women salivating over him …..not so much!
