Simon Cowell is well known for his bad hair. No matter what he seems to do with it, or how he gets it cut, the wiry locks often resemble a black garden hedge, balanced on top of his head….so it was only a matter of time before someone tried to put it right.
It has been reported that at last week’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Cardiff, hair stylist Marcello Marino showed up and for his tryout, said he was going to restyle the music mogul’s hair in 40 seconds.

Singer Brian Kennedy is being hotly tipped to cook up a storm in the kitchen. The Belfast man is the 9/4 favourite with Paddy Power to win the first ever Irish series of Celebrity Come Dine With Me.
Filming of the popular cooking show has already begun and will be broadcast on Irish TV next month. The four celebrities joining Brian Kennedy in putting on an apron for charity are Mr Showbiz and Daily Mirror Editor Paul Martin at 11/4, former Miss Universe Ireland and Tipperary native Rozanna Purcell at 10/3, TV3’s Noel Cunningham also at 10/3 and actor George McMahon at 7/2.

All the contestants – or should that be housemates – are former Big Brother winners. Stepping up to the plate are Brian Dowling, Nadia Almada, Brian Belo and Sophie Reade.

Troubled TV presenter Michael Barrymore came out as gay 15 years ago, but is now claiming that he is straight again…..and dating a female blonde bombshell!
The former Strike It Lucky host hit the headlines after in 2001 after 31-year-old meat inspector Stuart Lubbock was found dead in his swimming pool. After the tragedy, Barrymore was cautioned by police for cannabis use, but faced no other charges. In 2006 the star went on to finish in second place on Channel 4′s Celebrity Big Brother.

A brand new Come Dine with Me game show special, featuring much loved faces from the shiny world of killer questions, childish challenges, and glittering prizes. Michael Barrymore takes on Anthea Redfern, Jenny Powell, and Pat Sharp. Highlights include Barrymore trying to lick dip off Anthea’s foot, stealing food off other people’s plates, and smashing the crockery; leaving Anthea no choice but to lock him in the garden. Meanwhile, Jenny Powell fears that Pat has become much too interested in her chest, and then her meal ends in a food fight with Jenny covered in cream!

For the first time viewers uploading photographs of their dinner party to the Channel 4 website, www.channel4.com/dine, can create their own mini-episodes of the cult series by adding themed music, Come Dine With Me captions and even sound bites from legendary narrator Dave Lamb.
