Ultimate Big Brother star Coolio has expressed his dislike for his former fellow housemate Nadia Almada, in an interview with Fabulous magazine.

The American rapper left the UBB house last month after an explosive row with the Portuguese transexual, who later attempted suicide and partly blamed Coolio for her actions.

When asked to play Snog, Marry, Avoid with BB stars Nadia, Ulrika and Chantelle, Coolio joked:

“I wouldn’t marry any of ‘em – but I’d definitely push Nadia off a cliff. If you could put Ulrika, Chantelle and Makosi all together as one woman, I’d snog her.”

On why he agreed to appear on the Channel 4 reality TV show twice, Coolio revealed that he only did it for the fee. He said:

“You can never have enough money. I like to invest and make a hell of a lot more money. The last time I did BB, I bought a Dodge Challenger with some of the fee.”

Makosi Musambasi has added weight to the claims that Big Brother covered up some of Coolio’s worst comments on Ultimate BB.

Big Brother 5 star Marco Sabba took to an internet forum earlier tonight, to claim that Nadia Almada is close to suicide, due to insults made by Coolio and ignored by Big Brother.

He wrote:

It is most concerning that the public was misled in regards to the dispute with Coolio. He made deeply offensive, homophobic comments continuously to her and the other housemates regarding gender and sexuality for many days on end which were not broadcast. It was made to be seen that Coolio left the house after Nadia erratically confronted him about hiding her shoes. This was not the case. Coolio was on his third and final warning from Big Brother about abusive and threatening behaviour. By this point Nadia had suffered a panic attack and was mentally beginning to breakdown. Not broadcast. It was made to seem that Coolio asked BB to leave the house. He was in fact *asked* to leave the Big Brother house by Sharon Powers.

He added:

I can only hope Nadia will forgive me for writing this on a public forum but there is no doubt in my mind that she is now at genuine suicide risk.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Makosi admitted that she had been ‘disgusted’ by Coolio’s behaviour. She said:

I was disgusted by his behaviour. You can’t go around calling people ‘they’ and I think it was the right thing that he left. He kept asking whether she was a he or a she. And he asked me and Josie to touch Nadia in an inappropriate way. I think he did have issues with Nadia as a person. I think him leaving was the best for all parties.

When asked of there were any racial problems in the house, Musambasi revealed:

I can’t remember any. But Coolio did say first of all to me, ‘We need to stick together. We are not like them’. When I asked why, he said, ‘We’re black’. But if you ignore something with Coolio for long enough, he gets tired. He’s just a little kid. I think he got tired of reminding me that I was black.

Nick Bateman has expressed his disappointment over Coolio’s departure from Ultimate Big Brother.

The American rap star left the reality TV show, after and explosive row with Nadia Almada. The Portuguese trans-sexual told Big Brother that she would leave the show if Coolio stayed. Just a few hours later a statement was released saying:

“In agreement with Big Brother it has been mutually decided that in the best interest of the house, that Coolio should leave.”

Speaking about the move yesterday, Nasty Nick told new housemate Victor Ebuwa:

“I said, ‘I think it’s unfair that Coolio was sacrificed. I think that behaviour with the pillow case – if that was me I’d be out the door. Both of them [Coolio and Nadia] on that basis should have been out of the door’.”

Victor replied: “That is never gonna happen though, especially with me – Nadia was in my [series of 'Big Brother'], she was one of the favourite ones.”

Nick said he asked Big Brother if the programme was an “entertainment contest” or a “popularity contest”.

“If it’s entertainment, it’s for entertaining; if it’s popular, we’ll sit there and get on with it and walk away,” he said.

10.32am

Chantelle and Coolio are sitting in the garden. She tells him she is glad that survived the eviction but he should try and be nice to people. “I’m not here to kiss a**e, ” he replies. Coolio hugs Chantelle and kisses her on the back of the neck.

Victor and Michelle are watching Coolio’s moves on Chantelle via their plasma screen and laugh.

Nadia and Nikki are in the kitchen. Nikki asks if Nadia is feeling better after last night’s row. Nadia tells her that she does.

11.04am

Preston and Makosi are in the garden. Last night, Victor and Michelle sent a scary clown into the house.

Makosi says that she wasn’t scared by the clown, “Just freaked out.” Preston said for a second he thought the clown had killed all the producers and stormed the house.” In the bedsit, Victor comments on Preston’s outfit: “Preston the 1950′s called, they want there look back.” Preston stops talking and can hear Nadia shouting from inside the house. Nadia screams “Why, Why.” Coolio has put all her shoes in a duvet cover.

Nadia has come to the diary room. She says that she has lost all her “respect and her dignity” following her angry reaction to Coolio’s prank. She tells Big Brother that she wants to leave.

11.31 am
Coolio has come to the diary room. He tells Big Brother that what happened with Nadia “was a joke, it was meant to be fun.” Coolio says that Nadia has not liked him since “day one” and that he will not apologies but will continue to play more jokes on her. “Nadia is the one who should apologise. I don’t feel like I’ve done nothing wrong,” he adds.

In the bedroom, while Nadia packs her things Nikki tells her: “We’re all on your side.”

12.32pm

Chantelle and Preston are at the carousel talking about Coolio. Preston says it was “harsh” that Coolio had referred to Nadia as “Them,” and dislikes the way Coolio spoke about women: “In a derogatory way, so old school.”

Some of the housemates are in the kitchen. Ulrika says that she felt similar to Nadia when she previously shared the Big Brother house with Coolio, but took more of a back seat. “He’s 47, he’s not going to change now,” she tells them.

In the bedsit, Victor says that Coolio is trying to “pick off the housemates one by one until he is the last one there.”

In the diary room, Coolio tells Big Brother that he will happily pack his things and leave “if you want.” Big Brother asks what the atmosphere will be like in the house if Coolio was to stay. “It won’t change,” he replies, adding “I will gladly pack my things and not feel like I’m in detention.” Big Brother asks him to calm down and Coolio says that his is calm before saying: “Let me the f**k out, open a door.” Big Brother opens the door and Coolio leaves the Big Brother house.

2.31 pm

Housemates have been gathered on the sofa. Big Brother announces that Coolio has left the house. Nikki says: “Kerching,” while making the sign. Chantelle looks shocked and comments: “He did say things which were wrong, but I liked him” Brian says that when Coolio was around “I always felt like he was looking over my shoulder and waiting for something to happen.” Housemates speculate that new people may enter the house. Ulrika mentions Michelle Bass and Brian mimics Michelle’s version on Pie Jesus. .

In the bedsit, Victor says that he thinks Ulrika doesn’t like Michelle.

3.23pm

Nadia and Nikki are in the bedroom. Nikki tells Nadia that she wants to move to the spare bed because the old bed has “bad aura.” When Ulrika hears Nikki’s reason for moving bed she tells fellow housemates: “She is so idiosyncratic.”
Brian has already put his bedding onto the bed Nikki has chosen “That’s my bed!” Brian playfully confronts Nikki and makes her switch back. He reminds her that he styled her hair the previous night.

3.34pm

Michelle and Victor are in the bedsit. Victor announces that he is going to moisturise his legs, “For the ladies of course.”

Housemates discuss how popular Big Brother was in previous years. Makosi says that Big Brother Africa came about as a result of her being in the UK house. In the bedsit, Victor disputes Makosi’s claims and says that they had one already screened Big Brother African before she appeared on the show. “Everyone in Africa thought she was a slut!” he adds.

Ulrika tells housemates to look at “my baby” and points to her stomach. Her stomach is visibly, slowly moving. In the bedsit, Michelle comments: “Is that her party trick?” and looks shocked. Victor adds: “She doesn’t want to do that if she’s looking for husband 50!”

4.17pm

Big Brother has called Michelle and Victor to the bedsit diary room. Big Brother asks Victor and Michelle to pick one house mate to have the pleasure of a slave for an hour. The bedsit housemates choose Nadia.

Most of the housemates are in the living room. Nadia comes to the diary room and screams when she opens the door and is ushered in by her ‘Slave,’ BB9′s Stuart.
When they enter the house, Brian says: “I would have him washing the floor in his underwear.”

6.43pm

Preston and Chantelle are in the bathroom, talking about Coolio. Chantelle tells Preston that she is “gutted” that Coolio has gone.

Victor and Michelle have been called to the bedsit diary room to select their next target. They must now choose two housemates to be treated to a disco in the small task room, for one hour. The bedsit housemates choose Brian and Nick.

Big Brother has called Nick and Brian to the diary room and reveals their treat. Nick comments: “I dance like a geography teacher.” They enter the task room and begin dancing while wearing the costumes provided. In the bedroom, Victor and Michelle enjoy watching the disco and laugh, mostly at Nick’s efforts.

7.02pm

Preston and Chantelle are in the bathroom and speculate as to where Nick and Brian are: “They’ve been in the diary room for a while,” comments Chantelle.

In the task room, while slow dancing to ‘Lady in Red’ Brian asks Nick: “Is this the gayest thing you’ve ever done?”

10.28pm

Big Brother has provided housemates with alcohol, cake and parlour games. They play Who Am I?, where housemates have 30 seconds to guess the name of a past or present housemate in a secret photo, using only adjectives.

Preston tells housemates: “You might use horrible adjectives to describe a housemate and they could walk through the door.” In the bedsit, Victor comments that Preston is “clever.”

Nadia is first. The photo is of Aysline and Nadia describes her as “Mike Tyson girl.”
Nick has a photo of Ulrika and describes her as “the eldest lady of the house.” Housemates guess correctly but Ulrika has a serious look on her face.
Chantelle’s says: “Jacuzzi,” and the housemates correctly guess Makosi. Chantelle apologises to Makosi who jokes: “I can you with two fingers.”
Makosi is up next: “Nice eyes, handsome, has allergies.” Housemates guess Preston.
Preston gets Michelle Bass and says: “Operatic.” In the bedsit, Michelle smiles.
Brian has Victor and he says: “Aggressive, confrontational, gangster.” Housemates guess Victor.

Victor is in the bedsit and is angered by Brian’s description of him and Michelle tells him not to “take it to heart.” Victor continues: “I’ve met Brian before and we got on well, “but now realises that Brian is “one of those people who is cool to your face and then not behind back.” Michelle warns him not to go into the house “starting fights.” Victor says he is going to go in there and talk to him, “It’s not over by a long shot,” he adds.

10.58pm

Housemates have been playing parlour games for 27 minutes. They play the Post- It note game. Chantelle writes ‘I heart Coolio’ on her bit of paper and the screws it up.

In the bedsit, Michelle is getting into bed but has her back to Victor, who is sat in the chair. Victor apologies for “going off at the deep end,” and asks if she is alright. He notices that Michelle has been crying and tells her that nothing he said previously “Was directed at you.” He reassures her that he will not start anything with Brian adding: “A few years ago I would have smashed him to bits, but now I’ve changed.” He says he will sort it out with Brian quietly, “If I sort it out at all.” He goes to the bathroom and brings a fresh roll of tissue for Michelle and they hug. He says “We’re having a good time aren’t we? We’ve got duvets, a bin and chicken; we’ll look back at this one day and find all this funny.”

Coolio has left Ultimate Big Brother after only 5 days in the house.

The American rap star was called to the diary room this morning, after an explosive row with Nadia Almada. While he was gone, she packed all her belongings and vowed to leave the show if Coolio returned to the house.

Coolio left at 13:20 today and Big Brother broke the news to the housemates at 14:37. The BB press office released a statement saying:

“In agreement with Big Brother it has been mutually decided that in the best interest of the house, that Coolio should leave.”

He may have been annoying but with no Coolio and no John McCririck, the house will certainly be a more boring place from here on in! Will you miss Coolio? Leave your comments below.

Coolio’s eyes almost popped out of his head this morning, as he watched Makosi Musambasi shower in the garden.

The rap star was sitting in the smoking area with Nick and Preston, when exhibitionist Makosi decided that rather than wash in the shower with frosted glass inside the house, she would do so in full view of all the boys in the garden. She pondered:

“Its really nice to shower outside.”

“Yeah it is, especially when I’m watching!” Coolio replied.

Makosi laughed and admonished him saying:

“Coolio you’re not going to see anything you’ve never seen before.”

To which he joked:

“Of course I’m not, but it’s something I haven’t seen in a couple of days.”

As Makosi gratuitously lathered her breasts, Coolio panted:

“There we go!” and asked “do you need some help with that? Do you want me to wash your back?”

Makosi then invited the rapper to shower with her, but insisted that he could only do so if he was intending to get washed himself.

It was an eventful morning for the ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ star, earlier he had been lucky enough to share a bath with the gorgeous Chantelle….we just hope that Preston didn’t get too jealous!

Coolio became the eighth person to enter Ultimate Big Brother tonight.

The American rap star finished third in the 2009 series of Celebrity Big Brother and starred alongside fellow Americans La Toya Jackson and Verne Troyer. He returned tonight to join his old pal Ulrika Johnson in the house.

Coolio is best remembered for making Michelle Heaton repeatedly cry, by suggesting that she was dating Ben Adams….we loved him for that!

On returning to the show tonight, Coolio entertained the crowd with his own ‘Ultimate Housemate’ tune. Ulrika looked delighted to see him, but he looked a bit bemused to be back.

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Nicola T has teamed up with former CBB star Coolio and recorded her first record.

The track titled ‘Drunk’ is due for release on March 1st, just weeks after Nicola will emerge from the BB house.

An insider described the song as “a unique track with its very own special ingredients, plus a sprinkling of Black Eyed Peas and Timbaland.”

Before Nic went into the house, she told The Sun: “I’ve been a fan of Coolio for years and I very feel privileged that he’s agreed to team-up with me for this single.

“Jud Mahoney has worked with many big-name artists such as Mario Winans, Tyrese, Liberty X, Eamon, Kci&JoJo and Michael Jackson, so it’s a huge honour that he wrote and co-sings this track with me.

“I’m really excited about the single – it’s credible and a fantastic, funky feel-good song!”

OFCOM has ruled that this years Celebrity Big Brother did not breach broadcasting rules despite hundreds of complaints about rapper Coolio.

Most of the complaints related to his sexist and allegedly bullying behaviour, however OFCOM said that Coolio was the “villain of the piece” for many but that “such a role, after 10 years of Big Brother, is generally expected by the audience”.

Ofcom said the series complied with rules because “any potentially offensive content that was shown and the manner in which the friction and the arguments were handled and presented by Big Brother on behalf of Channel 4, were adequately justified by the context”.

Channel 4 said it was pleased with OFCOM’s decision.

“Conflicts can arise within the Big Brother house, but both the producers and commissioning editors encourage housemates to work differences out amongst themselves initially,” it said in a statement.

“Channel 4 has robust procedures in place to safeguard housemates’ welfare and avoid any harm or offence to fellow housemates or viewers, and Big Brother will intervene as and when necessary.”

It’s been a helluva night folks, hasn’t it? I’ve just come back to my hotel room from the Celebrity Big Brother final and press conference.

Let me say first, that the highlight of the entire night was Jack Whitehall on Big Brother’s Big Mouth. Okay, as one journalist next to me remarked, he was swearing much more than usual, probably on account of the final night adrenaline. But that whirlwind performance and minor bitchfight between Tina Malone and Michelle Heaton was priceless. (I heard later on that Michelle broke down in tears during the commercial break and none of her housemates comforted her – a member of the audience did instead.)

Anyway, as you might have guessed, Ulrika Jonsson’s win tonight has caused many a tabloid editor to tear up the front pages declaring Verne Troyer the winner. But more than that, her downright refusal to answer questions about her private life meant that there were no juicy details to include in tomorrow’s papers. In fact, when it came to speculation on her fee, she started to become downright hostile – finally claiming that the press wouldn’t be asking a man that question.

I remember one journalist asked whether being apart from your kids for a few weeks was worth all the fretting and crying she did. Ulrika – quite rightly – rounded on the young lady and asked her if she had any kids, concluding that if she’d had kids she would not have asked that question and would have understood how hard it was. Score 1 to Jonsson.

It surprising that anyone got a word in edgeways, because a belligerent Coolio dominated any question that was asked, to the obvious annoyance of the other housemates (Terry, Ulrika, Verne, Coolio and Ben were all present). Coolio’s a funny guy, but I’m guessing that most people were wishing someone had switched off his microphone about halfway through the interview.

I’m glad I’m a blogger though, and not a tabloid journalist. Verne’s shock exit (fourth place? wtf?) totally threw everybody. Then when Coolio went out, everybody was shocked. Mostly at how Ulrika – who I’ll admit I thought was some kind of national pariah – had managed to stay in right to the end. I’m still baffled as to how she got that groundswell of support.

Lisa mentioned in her liveblog post that she was looking out for me in the crowd. I was a little surprised to discover that the press – like you at home – got to watch the show on TV in a little cafe-type building on the studio. Yes – despite the fact that Davina was rocking the stage not five minutes from where we sat, we were watching it on telly. Bizarre beyond belief.

But better yet, during Terry Christian’s interview, the television set was drowned out to the sound of fireworks. It was only then that I was aware of the 10-15 minute gap between recording and broadcasting that they use to cut out expletives. Basically, while you were watching Terry’s interview, Ulrika was in the process of coming out of the house. How weird is that?

On The Finalists

Here’s a little bit of my impressions of the final five housemates from what I experienced of them at the press conference:

On Terry Christian: Terry was exactly like you saw on TV. Down to earth, funny, the type of guy you’d like to go out for a pint with. Seems like a really decent bloke. As a settled family man, there was no scandal, and the press were left scratching their heads for questions to ask him – apart from the obvious ‘bring back The Word’ ones.

On Ben Adams: I’m inclined not to call being quiet or slightly dull a personality deficiency like most people. Ben seems to be a nice guy, he’s just not quick with the one-liners, especially in a house with characters like Coolio and Terry and Verne.

On Verne Troyer: Verne’s an interesting character. I suspect he’s spent much of his life being patronized, but still manages to take it with such good grace. He’s a shy enough fella, but has no problem standing up for himself – he took Coolio to task for answering a journalist’s question on his behalf.

On Coolio: No joke – you could literally hear Coolio before you could see him. It was how we knew the celebs had re-entered the Big Mouth studio for the press conference. He didn’t shut up during the entire session and was funny for about 35% of it. Much as the world will always be indebted to him for Gangsta’s Paradise, he’s surprisingly annoying – I wouldn’t want to be cooped up in a house with him for a month.

On Ulrika Jonsson: I want to give Ulrika the benefit of the doubt – she’s been burned by the press on many occasions, and her attitude toward the journalists was sharp and seemed unfriendly. If you saw her on Big Mouth you’ll know what I mean. It was like she’d done her job and now wanted to go home. But on the other hand, she may have been uncomfortable being the center of attention.

Either way, as the winner of the show, she didn’t give the journalists much to work with – to be fair, the lines of questioning were either about her family or private life or about her fee. But what else do you ask Ulrika?

I’m going to bed now…

…so I’m going to sum things up. In what was largely a fairly calm household, there were very few axes to grind. And the five celebs left at the end were seasoned enough to know not to give a scandal away for free. Let’s see what comes out when the megabucks rounds of interviews and magazine deals are done.

Anyway, having seen some of the highlights on the show this evening, the 2009 celebrity housemates did a damned entertaining job, didn’t they? I don’t need to read about them hating each other in the papers.

Congratulations to Big Brother though, for managing to bounce back so well. I think this series has proved that there may well be life in the old dog yet, and that it might still be too early to write the all-seeing eye off!

My one parting comment to you though – isn’t it funny how this year was so entertaining, yet there wasn’t one mention of ‘evil’ Big Brother? Maybe it’s time to retire that tactic…
