Crystal Bowersox has shown her support for American Idol contestant Casey Abrams, after he was forced to miss the first results show of the year after being hospitalized.
The 20 year old singer from Illinois, was scheduled to appear on Thursday’s show but soon after the episode took to the airwaves, Ryan Seacrest announced that he was being treated in hospital yet again for a non-disclosed illness.
It has since been revealed that the star is suffering from ulcerative colitis- a form of irritable bowel syndrome. This specific form causes sores on the colon and intestine.
