Kirstie Alley is determined to lose more weight so she can fit into a “22 inch” waist dress.

The actress has lost 60 pounds since competing on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ but she is determined to keep going in order to reach her “target weight” so she can wear the tight-fitting Ports 1961 dress when she goes on vacation to Italy in a few weeks.

She told Life and Style magazine: “My goal dress has a waist that’s 22 inches. I tried it on and I can almost zip it up. I’ll be my target size by the time I go on vacation.”

The 60-year-old star, who has battled with her fluctuating size for years, has credited her continuing weight loss to sticking with the gruelling dance routines she had to master on the TV talent show – on which she and her professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy came second behind NFL player Hines Ward and dancer Kym Johnson.

She said: “I’ve been dancing almost every day since the show ended. I like all the Latin dancing. It’s the best exercise and the best cardio.”

Last night, NBC’s“ The Voice” grew in its second week in both adults 18-49 and total viewers from its strong premiere numbers of a week earlier, making it the first new primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox this season to increase from its first week to its second, according to “fast affiliate-based” “live plus same day” viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Last night from 9-11 p.m. ET, week two of “The Voice” (5.6 rating, 14 share in adults 18-49, 12.4 million viewers overall) grew in its second week by 10 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 5.6 rating from a 5.1) and by 5 percent in total viewers (12.4 million vs. 11.8 million). This makes “The Voice” the first new series this season on ABC, NBC, CBS or Fox to grow from week one to week two in 18-49 rating or in total viewers. Last week’s 5.1 rating for the debut of “The Voice” had been the highest rating for any series premiere on those networks in more than a year – since CBS’s “Undercover Boss” debuted following the Super Bowl on February 7, 2010.

“The Voice” was the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49, topping such primetime rivals as “Glee,” “NCIS,” “Dancing With The Stars” and all other primetime programming on ABC, CBS or Fox.

“The Voice” won its two-hour time period in all key demographics – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 — as well as teens 12-17.

Last night’s telecast of “The Voice” marks NBC’s highest-rated entertainment series telecast since the season finale of “ER” on April 2, 2009 (a 6.0 from 9-11 p.m.). Excluding sports, the 5.6 rating is NBC’s highest in the time period since November 29, 2005 (a 7.1 for the second hour of “The Biggest Loser” finale and “SVU”). In total viewers, it’s NBC’s biggest overall audience in the time period, excluding sports, since September 1, 2009 (12.8 million for “America’s Got Talent”).

Versus NBC’s season average for the time period prior to the debut of “The Voice,” last night’s telecast was up 107 percent in adults 18-49 (with a 5.6 rating vs. a 2.7, live plus same day) and 68 percent in total viewers (12.377 million vs. 7.347 million).

Last night from 8-9 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser: Couples” (2.6/8 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall) matched its highest 18-49 results in the 8-9 p.m. hour in six weeks (since March 22). From its first half-hour to its second, “Loser” gained 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.9 from a 2.4) and 14 percent in total viewers (7.8 million vs. 6.9 million).

NBC ranked #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics, with the network’s highest Tuesday averages of the season with entertainment programming in adults 18-49 (4.6/12), total viewers (10.7 million) and other key measures.

John Travolta has agreed to help his old pal Kirstie Alley improve her ‘Dancing With the Stars’ moves.

The former ‘Look Who’s Talking’ star has been failing to impress the judges or audience with her moves in recent weeks and her professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy has asked the famous ‘Grease’ actor, who named himself the ‘Dance Doctor’ to come and help.

John first told Kirstie that she has to release her “romantic tension” adding that she needs to choose better shoes, after her high heels flew off mid-waltz during her last performance on April 11.

He said: “Let’s try a sneaker. I suggest perhaps a high-top.”

However, dancing guru John’s visit to Kirstie during rehearsals definitely seemed to improve her confidence levels.

She told partner Maksim: “Last week we survived, but I don’t want anyone to have any doubts: I’m in this to win this. I want to be the frontrunner!”

Before performing her raunchy foxtrot to Lenny Kravtiz’s ‘American Woman’ on the show last night (18.04.11), Kirstie admitted she was hoping to “create magic” following her visit from ‘The Dance Doctor’ John.

She joked: “Now that we’ve had a session with ‘The Dance Doctor’, the bad juju is gone and with this dance, we’re going to create magic.”

Earning a score of 23 out of a possible 30 for the routine, judge Carrie Ann Inaba praised the duo for their “bold, ambitious and borderline crazy” take on the foxtrot.

Carrie said: “That was a different take on a foxtrot, but it absolutely suited you. It was bold, it was ambitious, it was a little borderline crazy! You did it – it was magical and I think it was your best dance ever!”

Dancing With The Stars bosses are reportedly considering cancelling an appearance by Chris Brown on an upcoming episode of the ABC show.

The star stormed off the set of Good Morning America earlier in the week and later smashed a window in frustration. Journalist Robin Roberts had been questioning Chris about his assault on Rihanna and the subsequent court case, when he lost his temper and hurled a chair at a window prompting staff to call the police.

An ABC source reportedly commented on the incident, telling PopEater:

“If the network doesn’t care about promoting [him], they should care about protecting its staff. This sort of behaviour is not acceptable from anyone no matter how talented or famous they might be.”

They added: “Dancing with the Stars is one of the biggest shows on TV, and if they do decide to allow him to promote his music on it he should definitely be asked to say sorry for throwing a chair and smashing a window.”

Kirstie Alley has admitted that she was incredibly “exhilarated” by her appearance on the launch show of Dancing With The Stars.

The former Cheers actress – who is partnered by Maksim Chmerkovskiy on the ABC show – performed for the judges last night and afterwards took to Twitter to tell her followers:

“WOO HOO!!! How fun was that?!??!! Exhilarated !!! (sic)” adding that she “felt like Cinderella” on the dancefloor.

She also messaged Chmerkovskiy, teasing:

“Boo … U are the best in so many ways….. I follow your lead……. First time I ever followed a mans lead in my life …hehe…”

Maksim replied:

“You’ve made me extremely proud tonight! Thank you for your trust and I promise I won’t let you down!!! Great job.”

Kendra Wilkinson is reportedly doing well during rehearsals for the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.

The former Playboy bunny will partner Louis Von Amstel when the reality TV show returns later this month. She dropped 10lbs and trained hard before starting her dance lessons and insiders say her athletic ability is standing by her now.

“Kendra is a solid athlete who is a natural for Dancing With the Stars,” a source told PopEater.

“It was just a matter of scheduling and when she would be available to take time for the show. There is a great deal of work involved. But she has the talent if she focuses on developing it.”

The 12th season of Dancing With The Stars will start on March 21 on ABC.

Jennifer Grey only found out her husband could cook when she started training for ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

The 50-year-old actress – who was crowned winner of the TV show on Tuesday night (23.11.10) – confessed she had no idea her spouse Greg Clarke was so handy in the kitchen until she immersed herself into the show’s demanding training schedule with professional partner Derek Hough.

Jennifer – who shot to fame starring alongside Patrick Swayze in cult classic ‘Dirty Dancing’ – also praised her eight-year-old daughter Stella for becoming “more self-sufficient”.

She said: “I’ve done nothing but sleep and take care of my injuries. They have been so amazing. My husband has been taking care of everything and my daughter has become so much more self-sufficient. It’s been great for everyone. I found out my husband can cook!”

The star – who has battled cancer in the past – admitted she feels “blessed” to have been given the opportunity to participate in the show.

Jennifer explained: “I didn’t even think about winning when I first started. This is so unbelievable. I feel so grateful, so blessed, that I had this opportunity to spend three months learning to dance and getting paid for it.

“I don’t know that there’s any experience that will ever be anything like this again.”

Sibling duo Donny and Marie Osmond are reportedly planning to perform on an upcoming installment of Dancing With The Stars.

Both stars have previously competed on the American dance show. Donny won the competition last year, while Marie finished third on the fifth season of the show.

“The producers would love to have Donny and Marie back on to sing at the results show,” a source told Popeater. “Not only are they loved by the entire country, they are both part of the DWTS family. Like the Osmonds, this family looks after its own.”

ABC has confirmed that the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars will have the largest lineup to date.

Executive producer Conrad Green told Entertainment Tonight that they have signed sixteen celebrities for this years extravaganza, I wonder if Paula Abdul is amongst them?

“This is going to be our biggest-ever cast,” he explained.

“We are going to start big, and then about halfway through, we are going to do three double eliminations back-to-back. The middle of the season is going to be brutal when half of our cast goes in three weeks.”

When asked about rumours that Donny Osmond or Lou Ferrigno would be appearing, he replied: “I love the fact that people want to be on the show. If people get in the press and say, ‘I am on the show,’ even if they are not, what can you do?

“I think our celebrity show is the one that most people want to be on because they realise it isn’t degrading or demeaning in any way. You learn a new skill, and it is a wholesome family show.”

Dancing With Stars contestant Steve Wozniak is said to have suffered his second injury whilst training for the US reality TV show.

Last week Steve injured his foot but soldiered on and gave us the hilarious quickstep shown above. However last Friday Steve went on to pull his hamstring and was left limping badly.

Speaking to E! News, host Tom Bergeron denied that Wozniak will be replaced if he withdraws, saying: “The only thing it will impact is if there is one week we were going to have a double elimination and we wouldn’t do that.

“But we’d still eliminate someone. So if [he] can’t dance this week, we’re still going to knock somebody else out anyway because that’s the way we roll.”

However, an unnamed insider insisted that the 58-year-old is “determined to be there on Monday and dance”.

I really hope Steve does return as his routines really are comedy gold! Steve has previously been dubbed the John Sergeant of the show, but I think he is so much more amusing than John ever was!
