As fans of former X Factor judge – and current Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model judge – Dannii Minogue will know, she’s rather much disappeared off the face of the pop planet in the last few years, but it seems she may be planning a comeback…
However, if – as a report in The Sun today suggests – the song she’s planning to make the flagship of that comeback has the main lyric “You sang me baby baby baby,” then that flagship may be about to sink. Read more & comment »

Fans of The X Factor will surely recall that the now returned judge Sharon Osbourne reportedly originally left the show in 2007 after music mogul Simon Cowell refused to fire Sharon’s fellow judge Dannii Minogue…
It was no secret that Dannii and Sharon couldn’t stand each other, and at the time, Sharon allegedly said of the Aussie star, “She’s only on X Factor because of her looks, not because of her contribution to music.”
And after leaving the show, Sharon continued to vent her ire over Dannii, branding her “manipulative” and “cold as an iceberg”. Read more & comment »

Fans of The X Factor will of course know that former judge Dannii Minogue was said to be “horrified” and angry when details of her affair with show boss Simon Cowell were made public in a biography about the music mogul…
However, while speaking out about the affair, and how it became public knowledge in Tom Bower’s book, Dannii told The Sun, “What the hell is there to say? Fact — or fiction? That’s all I’m saying.

In an interview with this week’s Grazia magazine, Dannii Minogue has revealed she spoke to Simon Cowell two weeks ago, their first conversation since she left the UK X Factor.
Dannii, 41 left the UK X Factor in 2010 and is now primarily based in Melbourne, where she’s currently filming the Australian version on the show.

It has been widely reported that Tulisa Contostavlos was axed from the X Factor judging panel this year but insiders have suggested that this is definitely not the case.
The ‘Young’ hitmaker confirmed today that she would not be on the lineup when the new series begins auditions next month. She had been at the judges’ table for two years and while her performance in 2012 wasn’t anything to write home about, in 2011 she helped Little Mix to become the first group to ever win the show.

Ruth Lorenzo has denied reports that she has reunited with her ex boyfriend Oritse Williams.
The former X-Factor did date the JLS singer while they lived together in the X Factor house back in 2008 and she revealed recently that it was a passionate and all consuming relationship at the time.

Dannii Minogue has lavished praise on the One Direction boys this week, remarking that the X Factor stars were the ‘best thing’ about this year’s Brit Awards.
The Australian star went to see Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson perform when they travelled to Australia last year and she claimed that the boys were more than friendly when she took some fans to meet them backstage.

It’s been reported this morning by The Sun that former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne IS returning to the show this year, and will replace Tulisa Contostavlos!
The paper quotes a source close to X Factor boss Simon Cowell as saying that he is “not looking at anyone else” for the judging role, and adds that Mel B – who as we reported recently was Simon’s other favourite candidate to replace Tulisa – is to join comedienne Dawn French on the judging panel of Australia’s Got Talent this year.

Dawn French has landed herself a brand new TV job in Australia!
The buxom comedienne is just fresh from her annual stint on Comic Relief on Friday, where she was seen getting jiggy with Homeland star Damian Lewis and it’s been confirmed that later in the year the funny woman will make an appearance as a new judge on the latest series of Australia’s Got Talent.
