Bookmakers have tipped Eastenders actress Barbara Windsor as their 1/3 favourite star to join the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent.
The news comes after The Mirror claimed that Simon Cowell would return to the series next year and was hoping to bring the former Carry On star with him.
Dannii Minogue is another name being linked with the gig and she is offered at 2/5 while comedian David Walliams is 11/10.

David Walliams and Dannii Minogue have reportedly signed up as judges for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent.
It has been claimed that former X Factor judge Dannii will join Amanda Holden on the judging panel of the ITV show, when panel auditions start in the New Year. The Australian star has been in London for a few weeks and has reportedly used the time to meet with show bosses and work on scheduling times and dates where she will be available for filming.

Susan Boyle has admitted that she’d love to see Dannii Minogue returning to The X Factor.
The new mum left the ITV series earlier this year, due to a filming conflict between it and Australia’s Got Talent but SuBo thinks the panel worked better with the Australian star on it.
In an interview with Digital Spy, the ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ hitmaker was asked about the falling ratings and if the show can survive without Simon Cowell – who left to front his new American version – and said:

Amanda Holden has admitted that she would love some company on next year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent.
The mum to be is currently the only judge confirmed for next year’s series of the ITV show, with Michael McIntyre having recently announced his decision to leave the judging panel and David Hasselhoff reportedly being sacked.
Auditions for the show started recently and Holden will start seeing the first hopefuls having passed the producers stages in January. On who she would like to be presiding over proceedings at her side, she told The Sun:

Dannii Minogue is this week’s Fabulous Magazine cover star and in her interview with the magazine, reveals the real reasons behind her departure from X Factor, her health scare and how life, for her, begins at 40.
Dannii insists that, despite the rumours, she wasn’t forced out of The X Factor. After being rushed to hospital in April last year with appendicitis Dannii found out that her thyroid wasn’t working properly. ‘The truth is’ she says ‘I have been very sick’… ‘I was travelling back and forth from Australia to the UK doing The X Factor, I was jet lagged, on the go non-stop’. ‘I was losing weight, permanently exhausted, I didn’t feel like myself.’

Dannii Minogue has teased that she may yet join the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent.
The ITV show has lost two judges in the past month, after Michael McIntyre quit so he could focus on his stand up tour and David Hasselhoff was allegedly sacked by bosses, who thought he was too boring on the show.
Insiders had previously claimed that Simon Cowell had asked former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue to join Amanda Holden on the lineup and she didn’t outright deny the rumours during an interview with Heart FM this week.

Dannii Minogue has confessed that she thinks she did John Wilding a favour, by rejecting him from The X Factor last year.
The Australian star took the 18 year old hopeful as far as her judges houses stage on the ITV series last year, but rejected him just before the live shows started.
Wilding returned in 2011, and made judges houses once more – this time with Gary Barlow as a mentor – however Minogue thinks the extra year of working on his music has done John good.

Dannii Minogue has moved from mentor to interviewer in her new role for My Daily and this week, the former X Factor judge caught up with the winner of last year’s series Matt Cardle.
In the video below, the Australian star chats with Matt – who she mentored on the 2010 series of the ITV show – about his new album ‘Letters’, his lead single ‘Run For Your Life,’ and his upcoming live X Factor performance.

John Wilding has admitted that he struggled to cope, after being sent home from The X Factor last year.
The 18 year old student told The Sun that he suffered from depression and ruined his A Level grades, after Dannii Minogue took him as far as the 2010 judges houses stage in Melbourne, then cut him from the lineup, as she chose her final four contestants for the live shows.
