X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman has claimed that Dannii Minogue is the best judge on the show and even insited that she now has more credibility than Simon Cowell.

Brian told the Daily Star Sunday “I think ­everything Dannii has said all season has been pretty much on point.

“She is my favourite judge right now.

“Simon is in a tough place in the show for keeping the twins in after all his comments.

“He’s known for ­speaking the truth – but I think that’s what Dannii has done so well this year.”

Brian is also backing John and Edward Grimes for the The X Factor final.

He explained: “The twins are ­serious ­challengers, they have a great chance of making the final.

“What makes them even more dangerous is they are finally starting to ­believe they have a shot and that’s half the battle.

“There’s been a change in them this week. They have a lot more confidence and I’ve had my best ­session with them. Unbelievably, they’ve actually been doing what I’ve told them.”

He added: “I’ve grown to love them, even though they drive me mad.”

UPDATE: BRIAN FRIEDMAN HAS NOW CONFIRMED THAT THE THEME HAS NOT CHANGED AGAIN. HE TWEETED:

“Just to clear up any doubts or concerns out there for X Factor fans… I confirmed the theme was changed, NOT that it was changed again ”

Brian Friedman has told his Twitter followers that Simon Cowell has changed this week’s X Factor theme again!

Earlier this week Brian reported that Simon had already changed the theme six times before settling on Wham! and George Michael songs. However at 5.28pm today Brian, the show’s creative director tweeted:

goodnight twitterworld… yes theme was changed again which means no sleep for the B!

Liam McKenna also announced on Irish TV channel TV3, that the theme had been changed this afternoon and expressed his sympathy for the contestants.

However X Factor judge Dannii Minogue insists that the news is wrong and she later told her Twitter fans:

As far as I know X Factor theme is still George Michael/Wham

As much as we hate the idea of Wham week, changing the theme of the show at this late stage can only mean disaster for the contestants. Unreality TV is hoping that this is just a mix up or a nasty rumour.

We would never have expected X Factor judge Dannii Minogue to be in Team Price, but the Aussie singer has admitted that she can’t wait to watch Katie Price in the I’m a Celebrity jungle.

Katie is due to enter the ITV reality TV show tomorrow and Dannii admitted on her Twitter page that the show, shot in her home country, is a guilty pleasure of hers.

Today she continued:

Another X Factor show, another fabulous dress for judge and style icon, Cheryl Cole.

Last night she appeared in a stunning sand coloured canvas corset dress with gold velvet panels by Richard Nicholl. The dress has a price tag of £1,335 and can be found here

The outfit was accessorised with Gina shoes, and Shaun Leane earrings and bracelet. Her hair was big and wavy just as the folks at L’Oréal like it.

I wasn’t so sure about Dannii Minogue’s Lisa Ho Spring 2009 printed kaftan. It would have been the perfect outfit for the judge’s houses stage of the show but I’m not sure that it worked on Sunday night, primetime television.

Dannii completed the look with Burgundy Yves Saint Laurent shoes and a long crimped ponytail. She looked stunning as always, but I much prefer the short and edgy look.

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is set to design her first fashion range.

“I am in talks with a few people to do my own line, I would love to do that,” she told thisislondon.com. “I style myself on the show, I don’t have a stylist but I did when I was on boot camp but that was only because things were so hectic. I pick my own clothes so I definitely will be hands on.”

Between the X Factor and her other TV projects Dannii has a pretty full schedule, but she hopes to fit her design work into her few weeks holiday after the ITV show ends.

She added: “Well we only have five more weeks of X Factor then I think I have a month off so there is time but I can’t say who I’ve spoken to.”

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has reportedly claimed that she may quit the show if John and Edward Grimes finish ahead of her final singer, Stacey Solomon.

A show insider told The Irish Herald: “Dannii is fuming and just disillusioned at the whole show. She thinks the Grimes are nice kids, but that they don’t deserve to take a place in the remaining acts on the show.

“She was devastated to lose Lucie last week and she couldn’t take it if remaining act Stacey also got the boot and the Grimes stayed in. She has told people on the show that she couldn’t see the point in staying if all the talented singers were shown the door.”

It looks like Simon Cowell has been busy with the thumbscrews this week. Why else would Dannii Minogue be defending his decision to save John and Edward Grimes on last week’s show?

Minogue told Metro: “Looking back at last Sunday, Simon was actually right in making the decision he made. He did it on the moment.

“I know that because I was looking right in his face and it was a split decision. But ultimately the public put both acts in the bottom two.”

She added: “I’m not scared of being fired by Simon because of last week.

“It’s his show so he can make those decisions at any given time. All I can do is turn up to work and do what I do and say what I think.”

Dannii Minogue has said that it would be a “disaster” if John & Edward Grimes won The X Factor.

Dannii lost her second act, Lucie Jones last week, after Simon Cowell voted to save Jedward.

Minogue told The Mirror: “It would be a disaster for The X Factor and Simon Cowell if Jedward won.

“Simon has to give a £1 million recording contract to the winner. How can he give it to John & Edward when they’re not singers?”

She added: “They’re entertainers. I wouldn’t quit if they won but it would make me question the show’s validity. I worry what would happen.

“After Leona Lewis won, the programme turned a corner and became a genuine singing contest, discovering genuine talent.

“If the twins were to win then I would worry that it would go back to the old days, and not be about discovering an amazing act. And that would be sad.”

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue says that she has finally worked out why her acts keep getting voted off the show. She thinks that her girls are doomed, because they aren’t interesting enough.

Dannii told The Sun:

“Maybe it’s not enough to be nice and beautiful and sing well and be hard-working and turn up and not cause any problems.

“Maybe you’re meant to cause a lot of problems and controversy and get the headlines.” She said she had blamed herself for Sunday’s night’s shock result.

“The first thing was that I was just disappointed in myself – what didn’t I show about Lucie which left her in a position where she hadn’t got enough votes?

“I was angry with myself because I hadn’t done the job well enough. That performance and the one before – I felt she’d really arrived, but it was too late.”

Dannii also revealed that Simon Cowell is standing by his decision to save John and Edward Grimes on last week’s show.

She said: “I spoke to him yesterday and he says that it was a decision that he made in the heat of the moment and if he ends up with Jedward for the recording act then that’s what he ends up with!

“But he still stands by his decision and I’ve just got to go out there and fight harder.”

She added: “I would never have done what he did but I guess at the time you make a decision and you have to live by that.

“And he certainly is living by it this week – he’s finding it a bit uncomfortable. But I would say to everybody in country now, ‘Don’t get angry, get voting!’”

This evening on Live From Studio Five, roving presenter Minnie catches up with X-Factor mentor, Dannii Minogue for her thoughts on Simon Cowell’s shock decision last week to save Jedward over her girl, Lucie.

Dannii – “It was a shock and I was really sad for Lucie because I think she was just starting to show what she could do and I wish I got it right earlier. You know in the earlier show, but you’re fitting in with themes and categories. I think the other thing that is evident is you know the people who have had a lot of controversy surrounding them have been getting the headlines; I think that gets people voting as well. And I just have had three beautiful girls who have had you know are not into controversy they are into singing and doing it very well.”

Minnie – “Stacey just left for you know do you think she has a big chance of winning?”

Dannii – “She’s the only woman left standing… I think she has always had a chance from the beginning and that’s why I took her from the final six I was given into my final three. I think she has always had a chance. I think she is going to get the power from the other girls who have left the competition now to say right I have really got to step up. I really believe that she’ll kind of take that on board and use that now. And not now shrivel down she is really in it to win it.”

Minnie – “Is there any animosity between you and the judges after what happened on Sunday?”

Dannii – “Look it wouldn’t have been something I would have done, absolutely. I just thought, I knew when it went to deadlock that John and Edward had more press than anyone that week so…You know my fears were realised when they said Lucie was going, but you know you do what you do in the heat of the moment. I spoke to Simon yesterday and you know he stands by his decision and really that’s why we are all there to have different opinions. It would not have been what I would have done but, it’s Stacey now.”
