Many people have been speculating that this years X Factor series will be the last for Australian judge, Dannii Minogue and this week Heat magazine have reported that Simon Cowell is considering replacing her with a young male judge instead.

“Dannii was brought in initially to be the younger counterpart to Sharon, but since Cheryl arrived, she has replaced Dannii in that role and become so much more popular. It’s doubtful Dannii will be here for the next series,” a source reportedly told Heat.

X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue, has claimed that she is not feuding with fellow judge Simon Cowell despite recent claims from Simon’s pal Sinitta.

In her column for Closer magazine Dannii said:

“I was bemused by rumours that I’d fallen out with Simon Cowell on the show. Utter rubbish!

“Admittedly Simon seems to be lashing out at Team Minogue and I don’t know why, because I have three amazing performers. I guess he is just protecting his own team, and I know he thinks the Under 25 girls can all win.”

Simon Cowell’s right hand hag, Sinitta, has claimed that X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is close to getting the axe from the ITV talent show.

Sinitta told The Daily Star: “It’s getting worse as the weeks go by. I sit behind them as the show is going out and you can feel the tension between them. When we go to the ads it gets worse.”

Dannii has been publicly dissing Cowell and claiming he is getting too old and forgetful to be on the show.

But Sinitta warned: “It’s backfiring in her face, Simon’s deliberately forgetting the name of her acts to undermine her. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pretends to forget her name this week!

It seems that X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue are starting to feel left out on the ITV talent show as fellow judges, Simon and Cheryl share in jokes and decent acts!

‘Simon thinks it’s hilarious none of his or Cheryl’s acts have been in the final two yet,’ said a source to The Sun.

‘He and Cheryl are thick as thieves on set and they often go off and do their own thing, ignoring Dannii and Louis.’

Dannii Minogue has had a hard week! First of all, Oasis star Noel Gallagher asserted “If there’s one person in the room who wouldn’t know talent if it kicked them in the a*** it’s Dannii Minogue.”

Then yesterday TV presenter, Graham Norton joined in on the Dannii bashing saying:

“I’d really like Rachel Hylton to win this year but it’s not going to happen because Dannii’s her mentor.

“She’s like tying a lump of concrete around your neck.”

Poor old Dannii! Does anyone out there like her?

X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue has hit out at claims that she didn’t spend any time with her acts during the bootcamp stage of the show.

Suzie Furlonger, who Danni dropped at the judges house stage, claimed that Minogue only spent 45 minutes with each wannabe at the St Tropez property.

But in her Closer magazine column, Dannii has hit back saying:

She said: “I couldn’t believe it when I read the story. I was upset to see that Suzie had gone to the press saying I didn’t mentor her or spend any time with her or the others.

Oasis star, Noel Gallagher has taken yet another swipe at reality TV, the X Factor in particular.

Noel has criticised the show for having “nothing to do with music” and accused judge Dannii Minogue of not knowing talent when it hits her in the arse.

Gallagher, 41, told the Radio Times: “If somebody is dangling this carrot of ‘fame and fortune’ in front of a check-out girl from Barnsley who can sing like Britney Spears then they’re going to go for it.”

He continued: “But it seems to bring on instant mental illness. You’re going in at the top, with a number one that sells 750,000 or whatever and you’ve got someone like Dannii Minogue telling you you’re really talented - and if there’s one person in the room who wouldn’t know talent if it kicked them in the a*** it’s Dannii Minogue.

Rachel Hylton- X factor 2008

X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue has revealed that she is “so proud” of mum of five, Rachel Hylton for giving her all in her debut performance on the show last night.

As soon as Rachel began to sing it was obvious that Dannii had chosen the wrong song and that Rachel wasn’t comfortable.

During the spinoff show, The Xtra Factor, Dannii told Holly Willoughby:

“Rachel wasn’t keen on the song but really pulled it off, I was so, so proud of her.”

Whilst she was being interviewed on This Morning, Dannii Minogue has revealed that X factor finalist, Daniel Evans has been hitting the gym in a bid to be all buff and gorgeous for tomorrow X Factor live show.

Daniel is said to have started a new fitness routine, spurred on by sharing a room with the JLS lads who are 15 years his junior, and he says sharing a room with the JLS boys is making him feel like a teenager again. Read more & comment »

The first X Factor live show is only one day away and word is that troublesome Rachel Hylton is none too happy with her song for the night.

Rachel and Dannii are said to have rowed this week over song choices, Dannii wants her to sing the dance track, With Every Heart Beat but Rachel wasn’t happy with her mentor’s decision. With Rachel saying, “I’m worried about the song because it’s not in my comfort zone.” Dannii says she “chose the song because I know she can do the job, I won last year and I know what I am doing”.

X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue has revealed that she would have to be in a stable relationship before she would consider having kids, as she doesn’t think she could handle being a single mum!

Dannii told The Daily Mirror: “I’m not broody. I’m godmother to two of my friends’ children and that’s enough for me right now! I’ve seen how hard it is. Way too hard.

“I guess I should start thinking about it soon. but I still feel so young - surely I can’t be old enough to have kids? I’m too irresponsible for that!”

X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue has spoken to The Mirror about the rumoured rivalry between her and fellow judge, Cheryl Cole.

She has denied that there is any tension between the pair and in fact claims to admire Cheryl for the way that she stands up to Simon Cowell.

Dannii told The Mirror:

“Anything that’s been said about us not getting on, has not come from us,” she insists.

“Cheryl’s been positive since she joined the show and so have I! There’s just nothing there!

“We’re still getting to know each other. We don’t socialise outside work but I don’t socialise with any of the judges. Read more & comment »

X Factor judge, Louis Walsh has told The Daily Star that his pal Sharon Osbourne wil be returning to the show next year, and that Aussie judge Dannii Mingogue will be forced to leave.

Louis told the newspaper that he had no doubts about Sharon’s return, adding: “Obviously Dannii would be the one to go - having Sharon and Cheryl on the show together is too good an opportunity to miss”.

He contined: “The thing about Sharon is she can’t be controlled. At the moment Simon has three judges who, let’s face it, he controls. With Sharon we never knew what she was going to do next - she was just so unpredictable. I really miss her but we speak on the phone at least twice a week.” Read more & comment »

X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue has insisted that she is not leaving the show as rumours suggest and that she has no problem at all with her fellow judge, Cheryl Cole.

The Daily Star quote Dannii as saying: “I’m not jealous. I’m not furious. We are all one big happy family.”

X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue has drafted in her pal, Emma Bunton to help her choose which bootcampers to put through to the live shows.

‘She’s been brilliant – one of the best X Factor guest judges ever,’ said Dannii to The Sun.

‘She really helped me focus on who we should be putting through to the next round.Emma is one of the biggest X Factor fans so she knows the show inside out.’
