Dannii Minogue has admitted that she thought she was about to die, when she took ill earlier this year.
The former X Factor judge was struck down by appendicitis, while she struggled with an ongoing thyroid condition in June and revealed that on one occasion, she was in such severe pain, that she thought her life was in serious danger.
The mum of one claimed that she phoned and begged her doctor to admit her to hospital as soon as possible, adding:

Kelly Rowland has promised viewers that this series of The X Factor will be ‘the next generation’ and unlike any that came before.
The Destinys Child singer has explained that she never tries to base her behaviour or judgements on any notion of what former judges Dannii Minogue or Cheryl Cole would have done in her position, as she wants to bring her own personality ‘to the table.’

Dannii Minogue has admitted that she doesn’t mind ageing.
The former X Factor judge, 39, has insisted that she feels it would be ungrateful to get bothered by getting old, when so many people close to her have died young or faced life threatening illnesses.
Speaking to Australian Grazia the mum of one said that she enjoys the ‘perspective’ of being older, explaining:
“I think getting older is fun. Definitely, having perspective – from nearly losing my sister and quite a few very close friends, and losing my best friend – means you realise every day is such a gift. I really am bowled over if someone says, ‘Oh I’m getting old’. I think, ‘Aren’t you lucky?’ It’s impossible for me to even look at it that way. I embrace it, love it.

Louis Walsh has admitted that things weren’t always easy between former X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.
The Irish music manager claimed that things are a lot more easy backstage at the ITV show these days, because new female panellists Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland ‘get on better’ than the famous women they replaced.

Stacey Solomon has defended her old X Factor mentor Dannii Minogue, saying that she ‘deosn’t need’ the ITV show.
The Australian star left (or was pushed off) the lineup earlier this year, but Stacey thinks she probably has enough else going on with her career or private life to worry to much about the snub.

Dannii Minogue has admitted that since having her baby son Ethan, she feels “anchored” to her homeland of Australia.
The former X Factor judge used to fly between Oz and the Uk when she worked on the ITV show, however since leaving it’s lineup she has revealed that she is happy to be settled in her native country,because she loves living near her parents.
She said: “I always thought I would come back. I was waiting for the thing that would anchor me here and having a family with a baby definitely does that, because everyone wants to be near their parents when they have a baby.

Kelly, 30, is one of the The X Factor’s brand new judging panel and all eyes are on this year’s eagerly-anticipated series which kicks off this Saturday.
Speaking about the pressure she faces, Kelly said: “Oh, I’m not scared, I’m excited. I’m not intimidated. Not at all. I know Cheryl is the nation’s sweetheart. Wagner Carillho has shed some light on backstage behaviour on The X Factor.
The long haired Brazilian singer has told Ireland’s Sunday World that while female judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue rarely talked to any contestants of the ITV show, when the cameras were turned off, it was Simon Cowell that was always polite and made him feel most welcome.
