It was confirmed last weekend that BBC bosses have adjusted their schedule and will now air the first live episode of The Voice on a Friday, instead of having it clash with the Britain’s Got Talent final and at least one person approves of their decision.
It was thought that viewers would have to choose yet again between the two reality TV shows but now fans will be able to watch both offerings and Holden thinks it was a wise move.

Sarah Cassidy has insisted that rumours of Danny O’Donaoghue’s womanising ways are just that, rumours and she claims that in real like the star is a total gentleman.
The 31 year old singer was featured on last night’s episode of the BBC show, going head to head with Katie Benbow for a place in Team Jessie for the forthcoming knockout rounds.

Conor Scott wowed the coaches with his self styled singing and guitar playing when he first tried out for The Voice, but his overpowering voice caused some problems for the hopeful when he was preparing for the Battle Rounds.
The 18 year old Belfast singer joined Team Danny after his first audition and for the next stage was pitted against singing duo Smith and Jones.

The Voice coach Danny O’Donoghue is of course en eligible bachelor these days, given that he split from his long-term girlfriend Irma Mali last year, when it was rumoured he was romantically involved with former finalist Bo Bruce…
And as we recently reported, ahead of the release of her debut album, Bo hinted that there was indeed a romance with Danny, which was scuppered by the show’s bosses amid fears of adverse publicity for the then ailing show.
However, it seemed history was repeating itself this year after The Scrip front man Danny took something of a shine to contestant Alice Barlow – who formerly starred on Hollyoaks – and she to him. But as Alice is in a relationship, that romance rumour fizzled out fairly rapidly. Read more & comment »

Danny O’Donoghue has been romantically linked to The Voice contestant Alice Barlow and on tonight’s show the pair will be seen having a bit of a cuddle, as the Irish star tries to offer comfort to the nervous young singer.
Rumours began to circulate after the former Hollyoaks actress first tried out for the BBC show and it was said that Danny was very taken with the leggy blonde beauty as he watched her perform.

It is of course expected that rivalry will be rife between The Voice coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O’Donoghue and Jessie J, but while Danny is reveling in the prospect of having a good ole fight with Jessie, she’s not so keen…
Beginning with what Danny – who is of course lead singer in The Script – had to say, he remarked to The Sun’s TV Biz that he’s looking forward to going head to head with Jessie during the new round of the show which will see the coaches able to ‘steal’ each other’s acts.
He said, “Then I get to fight with her and steal her act — and hopefully rub it in her face too.” Read more & comment »

With the The Voice 2013 blind auditions now complete, we have pictures of the four teams hiding their nerves and fear, before they take to ring this weekend to battle it out for a place in the final.
The four teams are now preparing to face battle this weekend, with the previously lucky 48 acts being reduced to just 24 after facing their team mates in duets.

Danny O’Donoghue has been given a new moniker by his bandmates, who now call him ‘Danny Dustbin’ it has been reported.
The Script frontman may be tall and pretty skinny but he’s revealed that his pals like to mock him, because of the amount of food he eats when on tour.

If Danny O’Donoghue is the man who can’t be moved, then his great mate Will.I.Am is the man who can’t be turned. For the last 15 minutes of tonight’s The Voice, Will – the only coach with a spot on his team remaining – refused to turn for a host of amazing artists.
