Danny Young and Brianne Delcourt have reportedly rekindled their romance.

The pair met when the Coronation Street star competed on Dancing On Ice in 2010 and hit it off with the Canadian skater, who was partnering Kieron Richardson at the time.

The pair dated for a few months, but after the show tour ended things fizzled out and months later, Brianne was reportedly dating her new Dancing On Ice partner, Sam Attwater.

However, many believed the relationship was a show-mance, engineered to increase their votes and support on the ITV show and these rumours were given substance when Sam was pictured kissing another married skater during a night on the town.

It seems that Delcourt has now returned to Danny, as the pair were spotted this week kissing and canoodling at an open air ice rink.

Danny recently told a magazine: “We did split up for seven or eight months, but we’re back together and everything’s great.

“She’s doing Dancing On Ice this year, so I’ll be supporting her doing that.”

Funny how news broke just as another Dancing On Ice series was about to start….

Insiders have reported that Brianne Delcourt and Danny Young have split up.

The pair met on last year’s series of Dancing On Ice, after the Coronation Street star became close to the professional skater on the ITV show.

Today The Sun has reported that the pair drifted apart when they finished performing in the UK wide tour, adding that Delcourt moved out of their flat earlier this month.

“It was great seeing Brianne and Danny fall in love,” a source said. “But sadly after the tour ended they had nothing in common.”

Sources now claim that blonde beauty Delcourt is now getting close to her current partner, former EastEnders star Sam Attwater.

Dancing on Ice star Danny Young is reportedly dating professional skater Brianne Delcourt.

29 year old Brianne partnered Kieron Richardson during the 2010 series of the show and skates with Chris Fountain on the UK wide tour. She was reportedly spotted snogging 23 year old Danny last week and the pair are thought to have become close as they toured together.

A source told The Sun: “They are really enjoying themselves. And it’s not one way, Danny is bowled over too.”

Former Coronation Street actor Danny Young has admitted that he’d like Danniella Westbrook to win this year’s series of Dancing On Ice.

Young was eliminated from the ITV ice skating show last night and while Hayley Tamaddon is currently bookies favourite to win, Danny says he’d prefer it if Danniella scooped the title.

Speaking on This Morning Danny said:

“You become so close to everyone, but what I love about Danniella is what she stands for.

“She took a couple of knocks, but she is a fighter. She has faced a lot in a her life and has come back. I like that in a person.”

He added: “I think with this show, as we saw last night, it is not the person who you always think is going to go through, that does.”

Maybe there is more truth to these rumours than we thought!

Danny Young has become the latest celebrity to be voted off ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

After performing during the dreaded props week and being forced to skate with a bowler hat, Danny found himself in the bottom two with Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson.

Danny performed his first routine flawlessly but in the skate off had a few mishaps with his prop and ended the performance very awkwardly. As a result of these mistakes, only judge Karen Barber voted to save the former Coronation Street actor and so Kieron Richardson lives to skate another week.

After hearing that he was going home Danny said:

“I’ve had the most amazing time… Guys, I wish you all the best. Danniella, you know I love you and I wish you all the best. Thanks to the judges, thanks to everyone who voted me.”

Danny Young surpassed himself on tonight’s Dancing On Ice live show.

Making a better job of skating with a hat than Torville and Dean did before him, Danny wowed the judges with his routine to ‘It’s All About You.’ It was slick, smooth and very confident.

Emma Bunton thought Danny’s dancing was getting stronger, Nicky thought he captured the character and the judges awarded him with an amazing score of 25.5, putting him in third place tonight.

On Sunday night’s Dancing On Ice, Danny Young was seen being coached by his boxing dad for his Rocky themed routine. It looked like quite a heartfelt moment, full of family bonding but the scenes have prompted complaints to ITV after some suggest that Danny’s dad isn’t quite as nice as he seems.

It turns out that Jack Young was jailed back in 1997 for killing 42 year old David Lilley in a bar room brawl. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 21 months in prison.

A friend of David’s family told The Sun: “They’re amazed he was allowed on like that.”

David’s brother Keith said: “They know he was a thug. They know he’s been in prison for a killing.

“But they showed him as a boxing trainer and portrayed him as an all-round good guy.”

An ITV spokesman said: “His father was teaching him poses for his Rocky routine. It was editorially appropriate.”

When Phillip Schofield tweeted earlier today that someone would be going topless on tonight’s Dancing On Ice, our writer Gerard was hoping it would be Frankie. Us girlies were delighted to see that it was in fact the super buff Danny Young.

Danny skated to the Rocky tune on the movie themed show, and obviously the half naked look worked for Danny because tonight he achieved his highest marks ever. Scoring 4.5 from each judge, Danny impressed even Jason Gardiner who admitted that the torso distracted him somewhat. He added:

‘It was brilliant. It was a really good move and you were fabulous!’

Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner has tipped Emily Atack as next to be voted off the ITV show.

In his column for The Sun Gardiner said: “[She] should be next to go. She has not once given any sort of a performance. She’s just got one safe level and never raises her game.”

However, Emily wasn’t the only contestant who failed to impress Gardiner. He didn’t much like Danny Young’s routine on Sunday night either.

He said: “[Danny] can’t sustain a performance. Rock ‘n’ roll must be sharp, clean and dynamic, particularly in the lifts. But his were laboured. He needed his big muscles, but it turned out they’re all for show.”

Dancing On Ice contestant Danny Young has admitted that his fans often send “saucy” messages to him on Twitter.

“I get some saucy Twitter messages, things like: ‘I can’t believe you’re single, you wouldn’t be if I bumped into you.’ It’s all good fun,” he told The Mirror.

“I’ve had a couple of naked pictures sent to me. Which is always nice on a Monday morning, gets you started for the day.”

Fellow skating star Gary Lucy admitted that he is more likely to receive a pair of granny pants than a sexy shot.

“I’ve been sent a few pairs of knickers in my time – big knickers as well, Bridget Jones granny pants. With no pictures of whoever sent them, thankfully,” he said.
