It seems as if this year, everyone is watching and waiting for the Celebrity Big Brother contestants to slip up in some major way.

The show took a years break after the 2007 series became renowned for the race row that kicked off between Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty and now it’s back with all manner of checks balances and systems in place to ensure that a similar situation doesn’t rear it’s head again. However many people seem to want to censor the housemates and ban any sort of risque language or inappropriate topic.

Just this weekend the media was full of stories about Coolio using the N***** word and forums everywhere were buzzing with people wanting him evicted immediately or at least given a serious warning. Today Darnell Swallow, a contestant from the 2008 summer series has revealed that he used the word at least three times whilst in the house and faced no consequences from Big Brother.

Big Brother housemate, Darnell Swallow, has admitted that he has never had a real girlfriend.

He told Kat and Rachel last night that he was scared he would never find real love with a woman.

He said: “I’ve never had a girlfriend before, that’s real.”

Kathreya tried to reasure him that he would find a girl when he leaves the BB house, but he replied:

“I’ve never had a girlfriend in my life why would I get one soon?”

Poor Darnell got in a right strop last night as Aussie beauty Sara left his bed to cosy up with hunky Stuart.

Sara spent the night flirting with Darnell and at one point he pinned her to the ground and tickled her as she was skimpily dressed in a t-shirt and a thong. But when Stuart came and lay in the bed next to the pair, the temptation was too much for Sara and she climbed under his blankets.

Darnell then stormed out and ranted to Rex that he had been “made a fool of in front of millions”.

He told them: “To get out of bed with one guy and say some s*** and then get into bed with another, do you know what that’s like dude?” Read more & comment »

Darnell Swallow has been locked up in the Big Brother jail after being overheard discussing nominations.

“I’m gonna be in here a long time,” he says. “Because I told somebody that because they said they wanted to go I nominated them.” Read more & comment »

Big Brother housemate, Darnell Swallow reacted with shock when he found out he was facing eviction this Friday.

“Just as it was getting good,” he complained, “as soon as it gets fun I gotta go. I guess that’s how things work, huh?”

“All the times I wasn’t talking to anybody I didn’t get nominated, then as soon as I become a figure in the house I get nominated. I’m here in a house full of people who don’t like me.”

Luke told him that Big Brother was a “popularity contest” but Darnell disagreed.

Darnell, Mohamed and Rebecca this week will face the next Big Brother eviction via the public vote on Friday 25th July. Darnell received six nominations with Mohamed and Rebecca each received five.

As Head of House, Dale is the first housemate to nominate and is immune from nominations. He nominates Mohamed, saying “he’s greedy, he’s lazy and he’s a dick.” For his second nomination he names Darnell, saying, “He’s my best mate in the house but I really can’t see me speaking to him again”. Big Brother housemate, Darnell Swallow, has finally admitted to the rest of the BB group that he has spent some time in jail before.

Darnell was actually deported from America to the UK for gang related crimes.

He told housemates: “Damn, I have a past that none of you know. I’ve been to jail, man. I have a lot of friends who are still in jail and will be for a long time.”

But Dale, Rachel and Kat didn’t seem put off by his big news:

Rachel said: “That’s ok, we all have a past. I have friends in jail, it’s fine.”
