BBC bosses are reportedly planning a new, all star version of the Strictly Come Dancing format.
A normal series of the show is due to launch on the 15th of this month, with a whole new lineup of celebrities and famous faces. However, if today’s reports are to be believed, the 2012 winner could find themselves in a dance off with previous champions at a later date.
Insiders claim that producers are in talks with former winners such as Jill Halfpenny, Kara Tointon, Natasha Kaplinsky, Darren Gough, Tom Chambers and Mark Ramprakash about making a return to the show and battling it out to become the ultimate winner.

A host of new stars are getting ready to put on their dancing shoes as the latest names taking part in this year’s Let’s Dance for…Sport Relief. Joining this year’s roll call are:
· Former England cricketer Darren Gough

· Former Olympic and World Champion athlete Fatima Whitbread & comedy group The Cuban Brothers
· Tracey Beaker actress Dani Harmer & Outnumbered star Tyger Drew-Honey

Darren Gough has busted his jaw after accidentally headbutting Ray Quinn on Sing If You Can.
The cricket star was competing against the former X Factor runner up on ITV’s Sing If You Can when the accident happened.
Darren was trying to balance on a fast spinning giant inflatable record, while trying to sing the whole time. He toppled off, fell to the right and bounced off his team-mate who was waiting by the sidelines.

Former Strictly Come Dancing winner, Darren Gough, has said that new judge Alesha Dixon needs to stop sitting on the fence and get more critical of the dancers, if she wants to succeed.
Alesha has faced a massive backlash from Strictly fans since she replaced Arlene Phillips on the show, now Darren has jumped aboard the bandwagon.,
Dareen told The Sun:
“Poor Alesha. She’s a lovely girl and a terrific dancer.
“One of my proudest moments was beating her in the Champion of Champions but as a judge she found it very, very hard.
