I never bet! EVER! In fact I don’t even buy lottery tickets as when none of my numbers are picked I am overcome with a tremendous urge to march up to my local newsagents and demand my £1 back!
But last week I was toying with the idea of opening an affiliate account with William Hill Bookmakers and when I decided to go ahead I was informed that I had to deposit a minimum of £2 in my account to activate it.
I did this, albeit a bit hesitantly, and then decided to place a bet on who would be leaving the Dancing On Ice show on saturday evening.
David Seaman has been favourite to go all week, and although he has come so far in the show and competition he just can’t match Gaynor Faye’s grace, and Bonnie Langford’s great showmanship. So I decided to stake my £2 on David and his partner Pam being booted off the show.
While watching the show I almost whooped with joy when he stumbled during his routine, but I missed the end and didn’t see who was kicked out.
I completely forgot about the bet until tonight when I checked my account to see that *drum roll* TA DA!!! I now have the grand amount of £4.50 in my William Hill sportsbook account!
I’m not rich, I know that, but I am definately tempted to stake the lot on this weeks ‘Just The Two Of Us’ and see if lady luck will shine on me again!

All those that watched last weeks Dancing On Ice show will remeber that awful moment when David Seaman was spinning his partner Pam OConnor by the ankles and she fell on her face on the ice. Paramedics rushed in and whisked her to hospital and she was unable to perform on saturdays show.
Well depsite her injuires, professional ice skater Pam has bounced back, and made little of her split chin and shoulder injuries.
She said: “These are the worst injuries I’ve had but it wasn’t David’s fault — I was supposed to put my foot under.
Pam OConnor has now returned to the rink and will be performing with David Seaman this saturday…..hopefully!

This weeks Dancing On Ice show saw each pair of skaters forced to use a prop, and unfortunately Kelly Homes was given a chair!
Kelly was unhappy with their prop from the start stating “When we were given the props and I had the chair, I was quite negative from the start, she says, clearly not chuffed about the chair.
“I just instantly said, ‘That’s it, we’re going to go out this week.’
Well she was right! Kelly and her partner Todd found themselves in the Skate Off for the second time in a row and although the judges saved her from being kicked out last week, this week they unanimously voted to keep Bonnie Langford and ditch kelly Holmes.
The Olympic Athlete was not a bit surprised at the result!
“I pretty much expected it to be honest, Kelly said.
“Obviously Bonnie’s been doing very well.
“She’s been very popular with the judges, so when it’s down to the judges you pretty much know what’s going to happen.
“But I did my best. I’ve done a lot in my life and this is another thing to add to it.
“It’s given me an opportunity to learn something I never thought I’d ever do, and it adds to my life experience.
The competiton is definately starting to hot up and we even saw Bonnie Langford begin to skate alone this week. Who knows what will be next! Maybe David Seaman will manage to get through the week WITHOUT injuring his partner!

Ice Skating is a beautiful sport and a joy to watch but it doesn’t come without its dangers and thats what the celebrity contestants on ITV’s Dancing On Ice have come to realise.
It seems as though every one has been injured in some way
