Veteran TV presenter Davina McCall has of course been on our screens for just over 20 years, having begun her career in telly on MTV in 1992…

So inevitably, there have been some shows that she’s presented that she’s less than proud of, but equally, many that she is, in her own words, “fiercely proud of.”

It’s been revealed today that presenter Davina McCall – who hosts The Million Pound Drop, Got to Dance and new Channel 4 quiz show, 5 Minutes To A Fortune – has been banned by her hubby Matthew Robinson from going to casinos just in case she gets addicted to gambling!

And in fairness, Pet Rescue presenter Matthew has good reason to fear Davina – who of course formerly presented Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother before it moved to Channel 5 to be hosted by Brian Dowling – could become hooked given that in the past, she was addicted to booze and drugs… Read more & comment »

Strictly Come Dancing 2013: TOWIE’s Lauren Pope joining show?

The Only Way is Essex star Lauren Pope has reportedly expressed a desire to take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, Bang Showbiz reports.

Lauren, who has been in the hit ITV2 reality show since the first series back in 2010, believes that she would be far better at a talent reality show than something like Channel 5′s Celebrity Big Brother, which her former co-star and ex-boyfriend, Kirk Norcross took part in.

Celebrity Big Brother 2013: Davina McCall would love to be a housemate in the new series!

Former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall has revealed that she would love to be a housemate in the forthcoming new series of Celebrity Big Brother, however she’s promised her husband Matthew Robertson that she won’t appear on the Channel 5 show.

Davina, who interviewed over 100 contestants when she hosted the show, told the Daily Star, “Initially, I thought it would be fun to go on, even for a night.

“Then Matthew said: ‘I have to share a lot of you, I don’t want to share you sleeping’.

Davina McCall says Christmas makes her “sex mad!” *Note to self, don’t pop round to her house today, she may be ‘busy’

Gorgeous telly host Davina McCall has revealed that Christmas makes her horny, which is why her children were all born around nine months after the festive season!

Davina is of course married to TV presenter Matthew Robertson, and in an interview with Alan Carr for his show Chatty Man earlier this month, Davina explained that the raunchiness over Christmas is entirely Matthew’s fault!

Davina McCall reveals that her sister Caroline Baday died from cancer today

Davina McCall has revealed that she is mourning for her late sister.

The Got To Dance presenter revealed on Twitter that her older sibling – Caroline Baday – had passed away after a battle with cancer.

The former Big Brother host tweeted her followers on the microblogging website to share news of the tragedy, writing:

Davina McCall would love to be on Strictly Come Dancing!

Davina McCall is a busy bunny, but despite having several shows on TV right now, or about to be on TV – including The Million Pound Drop, Got to Dance and Long Lost Families – she’s revealed to TV Biz that she’d love to compete on Strictly Come Dancing.

She said, “I love the idea of the dresses, the dancing, the romance,” however, as she has three young kids at home, she already finds it hard to juggle her career with her home life.

Of that, Davina said, “I am constantly trying to find a really good balance and I’ve got a really good balance at the moment…

“So I think [being on Strictly] might send me over the edge.

When we watched The Biggest Loser last night, we remarked on how very hot Davina McCall was looking and how stunning her figure was in her slim fitting blue dress.

So it’s no surprise to us, that Got To Dance judge Kimberly Wyatt has admitted that she has a bit of a girl crush on the former Big Brother presenter, because we think we might have one ourselves!

The Biggest Loser episode 2: Davina McCall takes part in ‘last chance’ training

Week two sees the contestants take part in a sand challenge. The team that wins the challenge is granted immunity at the all-important weekly weigh-in. The team eliminated from the challenge first, face a disadvantage at the weigh in, affecting their overall percentage weight loss.

At the beginning of the week the contestants visit The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, a faculty within The University of Birmingham. Here, they go through a series of health tests and are informed, as a result of their past habits, of their biological ages. ‘These contestants need some cold hard facts about their health’ warns trainer Richard Callender. This is a difficult moment for all of the contestants, particularly as one of them is told – as the situation currently stands – they may have only 15 years left to live.
