Some of you may remember Dawn Blake from Big Brother 7. Dawn was kicked out of the house just six days after her arrival, after she was accused of communicating with the ouside world via secret, coded messages.

Dawn later filed a complaint against Channel 4 claiming that footage about her body odour had been unfairly edited “so as to humiliate and misrepresent” her. However OFCOM have now rejected her claim.

The Ofcom report said Ms Blake had complained “it was suggested that she was not washing or taking a shower, despite the fact that she took a shower and washed every day”. Read more & comment »

There has been a lot of speculation over the newest twist in the Big Brother plan, namely the re-intorduction of old housemates back into the secret house.

Many of you have been looking for information on why Dawn, George, Shahbaz, Bonnie and Sezer have not been invited back. Here’s what we know so far.

Endemol have stated that Dawn Blake, George Askew and Shahbaz Chauhdary will not be invited to return to Big Brother as they chose to walk out of the house, and were not evicted. To be honest I think that Big Brother producers are fully aware of the intense debate raging about Shahbaz’s mental health problems, and Dawns unfair treatment and are looking for excuses to exclude these two ex-housemates.

Sezer Yurtseven and Bonnie Holt have supposedly not been invited back due to legal reasons. The legal issues are rumoured ro relate to Sezers recent arrest on rape charges, and the fact that Bonnie is currently on police bail for not paying for pizzas which she ordered from a local pizza company.

Again this reeks of hypocrisy on Endemols part as they were fully aware of the charges faced by Bonnie before she even entered the Big Brother house. I suppose they don’t want to be seen to treat Bonnie or Sezer differently. But I hardly think that a prank call warrants the same punishment as an alleged rape.

I personally would have liked to see both Bonnie and George re-entering the house. I don’t feel that we got to know them at all during their time in Big Brother, and believe that they might have actually made halfway sensible housemates. Ah well, there’s always next year!

Unreality TV has been visited quite regularly over the past couple of weeks by Dawn Blake, one of the contestants to leave Big Brother 7 early on in the show.

You may remember early on in the series, the Big Brother contestants were denied access to their suitcases. The press jumped upon the story and a couple of comments from the housemates about Dawn. At the time, we ran a tongue-in-cheek campaign to have deodorants donated to the Big Brother house.

Understandably, Dawn was upset about this and took the time to get in touch with us to set the story straight.

She sent me some diary room footage which featured her requesting her suitcase be returned as she was being forced to wear paper underwear and borrow clothes from other contestants. She also complained at the time of feeling humiliated and embarrassed about having to borrow from the boys as the girls’ clothes generally didn’t fit her.

While our article was intended as tongue in cheek, we would like to thank Dawn for raising this issue with us and apologise for any offense our article caused.

In response to the poor reception that she has had since leaving the Big Brother house, Dawn Blake has decided to go on hunger strike until Channel 4 turn over the unedited tapes of her time in the house.

She feels that the programme was edited in such a way as to make her look bad, and with the tapes she can prove her innocence.

She said ”

“I was smeared by the production company as a smelly cheat. I want everyone to see what happened in the house and only getting the tapes will you all see the truth.

Furious Dawn, , went on to say: I am asking for a copy of the unedited footage in its entirety and I will remain on hunger strike unil I get it, warning: “I will continue until I pass out.”

To be fair to Big Brother, I don’t think they could really fake Nikki almost vomiting at the smell of Dawns body odour. Maybe Dawn should retreat garcefully and in furutre just wash more often!

Digital Spy are reporting that Dawn Blake is considering criminal charges against the Big Brother producers after aledgedly being held against her will for almost 24 hours:

It was like being in jail, except with them mocking me all the time and refusing to listen to me. I’m furious. I’m thinking of what to do about it, but one option is to press charges for false imprisonment.

Well, it was alright when she walked in voluntarily, wasn’t it? So, she decides to cheat at the game and got caught out, held for a while as exit procedures are sorted out, and then decides to complain about it!

Sour grapes anyone?

We are only 1 week into the Big Brother show and already we have lost two housemates.

There have been no official evictions but Tuesday saw Shahbaz Chauhdary leave the house volunatrily, and earlier today Dawn Blake was forcibly removed by Big Brother.

When I first heard the news I was sure that Big Brother was trying to protect the rest of the housemates from Dawn’s pungent body odour, but actually the reason for her removal was due to her obtaining and using information from the outside world using a form of code.

Channel 4 issued this statement to summarise the reasons for Dawn’s exit:

“Before all housemates enter the house, Big Brother asks them whether there are any circumstances of a personal nature that they wish to be informed of, whilst in the house. Yesterday, a member of Dawn’s family contacted Big Brother with a confidential message, which Dawn had stipulated she wished to be informed of, should the situation arise. This message was delivered to Dawn by Big Brother, in confidence and in good faith, in the Diary Room yesterday.”

“Last night Dawn revealed to the housemates that the message Big Brother delivered contained a pre-arranged code from her sister. As this is a fundamental breach of the rules, Big Brother removed Dawn from the house this afternoon.”

The message that was supposed to mean that Dawns sister was ill, actually meant that Dawn was receiving bad press on the outside.

Despite the unexpected exits of both Dawn and Shahbaz, tomorrows eviction will go ahead as planned. What excitement!

Dawn Blake is a 38 year old exercise scientist. She believes that “life is shit� and that we are all “born into misery�

Dawn has never been in love, and thinks the whole idea of love is a fantasy.

Dawn has no friends and no desire to make any. She thinks that most people are b******s and are only really nice to a few people at most.

Dawn sounds like a real barrel of laughs!
