Deana Uppal has become the third person to be evicted from the Big brother house this evening and finished the 2012 series in third place.
The former Miss India UK escaped being booted out earlier in the evening and sat with Adam Kelly and Luke A as she watched Sara McLean and Luke S being eliminated, however she fell at the second last hurdle and failed to win the £50,000 prize money.

Big Brother draws to a close this evening and in just over an hours time the first of five results will be announced by show host Brian Dowling.
Five housemates remain in the famous Elstree residence and all are competing not just for the winner’s title but for the £50,000 prize money. Of course the fund was halved just over one week ago when Northern Ireland man Conor McIntyre opted to be evicted immediately and take the first fifty grand home to Derry to fund a new life for himself and his girlfriend.

Yesterday was of course the housemates’ last full day in the Big Brother house, and it was a time for reflection as well as looking forward…
Because of course tonight, either Sara, Deana, Luke A, Luke S or Adam is going to be crowned winner of BB 2012 and walk away £50,000 richer.
I absolutely can’t call who’s going to win, but I think I can narrow it down to four candidates, as I think Luke S will be one of the first out tonight.
I also have a feeling that Deana won’t make it to the final two or three, so if that’s the case, then of course it’ll be between Sara, Luke A and Adam. I really like all three of them, so I can’t choose which one I’d prefer to win… Read more & comment »

Today is Day 69 in the Big Brother house, and of course, it’s the final five housemates’ last full day on the show.
Tomorrow night, on Channel 5 as of 9pm, one by one, the five will be whittled down to just two who will then have a nervous wait to find out who’s going to win, and we want to know who you think will, or should, win.
The five remaining housemates are of course Luke S, Luke A, Adam, Deana and Sara, and personally, though I still don’t have über strong feelings about who I’d like to see win, I think either Luke A, Adam or Sara deserve to.
But then again, Deana has – often by accident or as a result of others – featured heavily in this series, but of late, she’s begun to irritate me somewhat… Read more & comment »

As we reported yesterday, celebrity media commentator Nina Myskow went into the house to train the final five housemates, Sara, Deana, Luke A, Adam and Luke S on the finer points of celebrity etiquette.
On her list of things to train the housemates in was…
- Perfect their wave for when they leave the Big Brother House
- Walk down stairs gracefully
- Perform with etiquette and ease on the red carpet
- Get out of a car gracefully
- Greet a housemate they didn’t get along with
- Perfect their hug with Brian Dowling
- Deal with bad press
- Deal with an over-enthusiastic fan
The housemates were told that if Nina was impressed with their efforts, they would land a party complete with booze, canapés and a slideshow of some of their best moments in the house. Read more & comment »

After last night’s double and final eviction before this years Big Brother final on Monday, the world is waking up to the prospect of no more Scott Mason or Ashleigh Hughes on our Big Brother screens.
First to leave was Scott, who was incredibly surprised to learn that his eviction was the only one to invoke cheers from the crowd, as opposed to the boo’s each and every other evictee had received.

Tonight is of course the last eviction night ahead of the Big Brother final on Monday, and facing the prospect of leaving tonight are Adam, Ashleigh, Deana and Scott…
And of course, as it’s a double header, two of the above will be offski, but which two?
Well, I think it’s almost guaranteed that Ashleigh will go, but as to the second evictee, I suspect it might be Adam. But having said that, Scott’s never faced eviction before, so maybe, as he hasn’t always pledged allegiance to a clique within the house, he’s an obvious choice.
Who do you want to see leave tonight?
But of course, whoever goes, five will stay and will therefore be in the final on Monday, so who’s going to win the show overall? Read more & comment »

Looks like the Invisible Man might be about to take one for the team…
Yesterday, which was Day 66, Big Brother gave the remaining seven housemates a chance to win some groovy prizes, including takeaway, getting Sara’s eviction outfit back, and booze.
All they had to do was prove how low they could go in a limbo session, and the lower the bar went – and was successfully cleared – the more prizes the housemates would win.
And they all gave their technique some thought, but Luke S – being über competitive – really studied and practiced his, until he thought he had it cracked.
However, nobody managed to get low enough to win the takeaway, but nonetheless, a whole host of other goodies were won, including Sara’s eviction outfit, so she’s a happy bunny… Read more & comment »

Yesterday, which was Day 65, Big Brother evidently decided that there was far too much peace, love and harmony in the house, and of course, the very best way to put a stop to that malarkey is to let housemates know who nominated them, and why…
So, to that end, Big Brother announced that housemates must don their gladrags and prepare for The Nommy Awards, a glitzy evening of highs and lows where the coveted awards in a variety of categories were on offer.
And for the housemate who won the most awards, a special treat lay in store as he or she would be treated to a slap up meal for four, cooked by Michelin-starred – and Morrison’s – chef Atul Kochharchef.
In the end, Luke S won the most awards, and he chose to take Ashleigh, Scott and Sara to dinner with him, but here’s the list of categories, and who won the awards… Read more & comment »

As we reported yesterday, the housemates were given a mini-shopping task which required five of the remaining seven housemates to be museum exhibits, while two would be security guards.
Sara and Scott became guards, which of course meant that Luke A, Luke S, Ashleigh, Deana and Adam were exhibits.
Housemates were told that the exhibits must remain absolutely still and not speak etc., and the security guards had to watch the exhibits on a monitor and report any fails.
However, what Scott and Sara didn’t know is that once the exhibit housemates had taken to their podiums and struck a pose, the cameras were then frozen, showing Scott and Sara totally motionless exhibits… Read more & comment »
