Hollywood star Demi Moore has backed a petition calling for the return of Alex Lambert to American Idol.

The Ghost actress supported the mulleted singer by retweeting the link to his online petition to her Twitter following of more than 2 million.

Shortly after Thursday night’s resulst show, Moore tweeted:

“So bummed Alex Lambert got voted out he has an amazing voice! Did the judges screw him with their feedback?”. The next morning, Moore joined the campaign to reinstate Alex Lambert with a string of #BRINGALEXBACKs and a plea to her followers to “help me retweet this!”.

Of course this isn’t the first time that Ms Moore has made comment on a reality TV show. Back in April 2009 she was quick to tweet about her love of Scottish singer Susan Boyle. It seems that Mrs Ashton Kutcher always has her finger on the pulse!

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are said to be keen to book Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle to sing at their anniversary party.

It is rumoured that the Hollywood stars have offered the Scottish spinster £30,000 to appear at the event.

A source told The Mirror: “Demi and Ashton think Susan is absolutely brilliant, in a fantastically unique and kitsch way.

“Demi joked to Ashton about booking Susan to sing for him. She wanted her to lift up her skirt and flash her knee, the way she did with Piers Morgan.

“And Demi has teased Ashton that Susan would eat him alive. The idea is a cocktail party at home in Los Angeles, the highlight being Susan singing.”

Amanda Holden may be relatively new to Twitter but she’s already making a big impression on some of it’s A-listers.

Amanda has made contact with Hollywood power couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher and thanked them for supporting Britain’s got Talent. The pair famously sang the praises of Susan Boyle after she sang on the show and helped launch her into the conciousness of America.

Amanda sent Demi a message which read, “Thank you for the lovely comments about the show. I would love for you and Ashton to come to the live final on Saturday in Ldn!x” After a few minutes, she made an even better offer, writing, “By the way B.G.T final is on the 30th, I’ll speak to Simon – am sure he will let you borrow his plane x” Borrow his plane?!
