The Only Way Is Essex: Denise Van Outen thinks Mark Wright is ‘a very good looking chap’

Denise Van Outen has admitted that Mark Wright would have been just her type when she was younger.

The actress and singer is an avid fan of The Only Way is Essex and being an Essex girl herself, provides the voice-over for the ITV2 reality TV series. When asked about some of it’s characters, the blonde beauty admitted that Mark Wright stands out for her but added that any woman associated with him, would have to be ‘very careful.’

She said: “I do think Mark Wright is a very good looking chap. But you’d have to be very careful.

Denise Van Outen to lead judging panel for new ITV talent show

The Sun today reports that TV personality Denise Van Outen is to head the judging panel on new ITV1 celebrity talent series entitled, ‘Born to Shine’.

The paper adds, “The 37-year-old will be joined by Dancing On Ice’s Mr Nasty Jason Gardiner and a guest judge who will change each week.”

Born to Shine will see talented youngsters teaching celebrities various skills ranging from tap dancing to beat-boxing.

The star line-up, which includes Jason Manford, Joe Swash, Ruth Langsford and Nick Moran, will then perform the new skill in front of the judges.

Former newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky will host the series, which starts on Sunday July 17. Read more & comment »

Denise Van Outen has admitted that despite having a dishy husband of her own, she can’t help but ogle ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Mick Norcross.

The 37 year old TV personality is married and shares a child with ‘Any Dream Will Do’ winner Lee Mead has joked that she ‘loves’ the rugged businessman and knows that her crush on one of the oldest stars of the reality TV show, says a lot about her own age.

She said: “Me and my mates all love Mick Norcross, Kirk’s dad on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’. We laugh about how that makes us old, because we’re not interested in the young ones.

Alesha Dixon, Denise Van Outen and Melanie C to join Comic Relief Does Glee Club

An all-star celebrity line-up of judges including Alesha Dixon, Denise Van Outen and Melanie C has been unveiled for the BBC’s up-coming new show Comic Relief Does Glee Club.

Each judge will appear on at least one episode of the charity talent show kicking off on Monday 14 March on BBC One. Not only that, but chart-topping boy band The Wanted are also set to perform at the show’s finale on Friday 18 March.

Over The Rainbow: Andrew Lloyd Webber admits that Denise Van Outen was dropped due to pregnancy

Lord Andrew Lloyd has admitted that Denise Van Outen was dropped from the Over The Rainbow judging panel, because she was pregnant.

Denise had previously insisted that the decision to drop her was made purely because she was expecting her first child. When the news broke that she was being replaced by Charlotte Church she said:

“It was mentioned to me that being pregnant was an issue. It is not an issue for me. I am not ill. I am having a baby.” However the BBC have always adamantly denied her claims.

Over The Rainbow judge Andrew Lloyd Webber has denied rumours of a rift between himself and former ‘I’d Do Anything judge Denise Van Outen.

Denise had judged on Andrew’s BBC reality TV shows since their inception but was not asked to appear on this year’s ‘Over The Rainbow.’ Insisting that the decision was made because she was pregnant, Denise said she felt “let down and disappointed” to be replaced by songbird Charlotte Church.

BBC have confirmed the new judging panel for their latest Andrew Lloyd Webber show ‘Over The Rainbow’ and Denise Van Outen isn’t on it.

Joining Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber on the panel will be former opera singer Charlotte Church, acclaimed actress Sheila Hancock and Eastenders star John Partridge.
