It would appear that Derek Hough has not been completely written out of Cheryl Cole’s life.
It was previously reported that the former X Factor judge had cut all contact with the blonde hunk, having dumped him to get back with her ex-husband Ashley Cole.
However, it would seem that the pair are still on friendly terms and as Chez started tweeting this week, from the set of her new Hollywood movie, Derek flirted with her tweeting:
Its always nice to see a couple remain friends after a split up, and it would appear that Derek Hough is of the same opinion.
Having been attached to the yo yo heart of Cheryl Cole since her divorce, Derek has been there for Cheryl through it all.
Not only was he instrumental in her move to LA, he also nursed her through Malaria after the former X Factor judge contracted the disease whilst holidaying with the Dancing with the Stars professional.
Cheryl Cole is said to have enjoyed a cosy dinner with her pal and reported ex-boyfriend Derek Hough, during her trip to America this month.
The former X Factor judge was said to be considering a reunion with her cheating ex-husband Ashley during the holiday, however when it emerged that he had slept with at least three other women while trying to woo her back, she sought solace in the arms of the professional dancer it has been claimed.
Fellow diner Dan Tegnelia told Now magazine that he spotted the pair enjoying a meal together in LA’s Sushi Roku. He revealed:

The Daily Mirror reports today that Cheryl Cole has allegedly been having “cloak and dagger trysts” with her ex, dancer Derek Hough.
Clemmie Moodie, the Mirror’s reporter, writes, “SO Cheryl Cole has got a bit of Fight, Fight, Fight, after all.
”Just when I was on the verge of despair – assuming she’d limply melted back into the arms of her ex Ashley – I’ve been forced to reassess.
“Yep, the Girls Aloud star has had a string of cloak and dagger trysts with her ex boyfriend, Derek Hough, I [am ecstatic to] can reveal.”
The article goes on to say that Cheryl, who’s on holiday in LA with her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh, has secretly met up with the Derek on three separate occasions.
The paper adds, “Chezza ushered Del boy, 25, into her £1,300-a-night hotel room at 11pm last Friday night – with the dancer not leaving until the early hours of the following morning.
“And on Sunday night, the pair hooked up twice. First at her West Hollywood boutique hotel, and then four hours later in a Japanese restaurant.” Read more & comment »

“I spent a year mending your heart and now you want to go back to the man who broke it.
“Surely you can remember how devastated you were after he cheated on you. Do you really want to put yourself through that again?
“A cheat will never change and whatever you think, he will betray you. If you ever felt anything for me then you’ll listen to my advice.
