
It wouldn’t be the New Year without Big Brother and this year Channel 4 have come up with a new twist on a now old concept! Celebrity Hijack is due to replace Celebrity Big Brother in early January on Channel ’s sister channel E4.
What Is Celebrity Hijack?
Celebrity Hijack is Big Brother with a twist! Instead of an anonymous voice ruling over a group of (usually crazy) housemates, this year a group of probably crazy celebrities will be running the show instead. The celebrities will take it in turn to play the role of Big Brother, setting rules, tasks and punishments for the chosen few.

What Celebrities Will Be Playing Big Brother?
The show kicked off on Thursday the 3rd of January, with comedian Matt Lucas in the Big Brother chair. On Saturday the 5th of January Ian Wright took over the reins. Sunday the 6th of January saw Alan Cumming take the hot seat, Kelly Osbourne arrived on Monday the 7th to take nominations and on Tuesday the 8th of January Russell Brand joined the team. The Celebrity Hijack presenters are……
The delectable Dermot O’Leary will present the main E4 show, with James Corden and Mathew Horne fronting the late night Big Brother’s Big Mouth.
When Can We Watch It?
Celebrity Hijack’s first show will kick off on Thursday 3 January at 9PM on Channel 4 and E4. It will continue nightly at 9PM on E4.
You can catch BBLB on E4 from Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, and on Sundays at 7pm.
Big Brother’s Big Mouth is airing from Monday-Thursday at 10pm and Friday at 10.30pm, only on E4.
